Brenda Cooper

We have known about Brenda for a long time as she has done weddings for friends and some family pictures. I couldn't find her website and looked all around for her. I found her on this site but she isn't good about returning calls so I finally gave up. She does great work though so if you can track her down she'd probably be a good choice.

I used Brenda for my wedding and was VERY DISSAPPOINTED with her services. I will NEVER recommend her to ANYONE! Not only is she unresponsive with phone calls, but I also felt robbed! There are numerous things that happened...for the signature board, the week of my wedding she said it was my responsibility to get the matting for it and all she did was provide me with the $200 pic that I paid for. Not only was I stressed out because of my wedding, but I now had to worry about ordering the matts for my signature board and ensuring that they arrived on time. The night before my wedding I spent hours trying to get the pic placed on the matting perfectly so it looked professionally done (It's a lot harder than it seems). It took quite a few weeks for me to get my pics, but when I picked them up, I was told that I can only view them in her studio or I would have to pay an extra $600 to take them home to view with my family and pick out the ones I want for my album. I told her there was nothing written on my contract about that and she said yes it was. We then reviewed the contract together and she realized that NO, it didn't mention anything about me paying $600 to take the proofs home to review. Included with my package, the proofs were mine to keep, but she numbered every one of them with a black pen on the center of the pic. Therefore, ruining the proofs as well as making it hard to decide if that was a pic I would want for my album (even people who's faces were in center of pic, were covered with pen markings). I also had to return to her studio a couple more times to retrieve more proofs (about 100 pics) that she failed to include in my proof album (it was a 75min drive roundtrip). I'm the one who had to call her regarding the proofs because I remembered her taking those pics. When I went back again for the second time to pick up the last of my proofs, Brenda was out of the office and left the pics aside with her coworker (assistant?) for me to pick up so I just picked them up and drove home to view with my husband. I was SHOCKED to see that they were on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of photo paper and each pic was the size of 1" X 1". How the hell am I supposed to pick pics for my album if I can't even see what they look like because they're so small?? I tried calling her about this for months and she never answered her phone nor ever returned my calls.

I honestly should've followed my gut instinct from the very beginning. We had to retake our engagement photos because nothing came out of the rolls that she used for our photos. :o(

After $3500 and 7.5 years later, I still don't have my wedding album. I gave up after months of calling her and no response. I called the BBB to place a complaint on her and they told me she already had 7 complaints against her with one resolved or being resolved.

IMPORTANT FACT: Always call the BBB for any vendor you plan on using for your special event!

AND ANOTHER IMPORTANT FACT: Save yourself the headache, don't use BRENDA!

She is awful. I have been waiting for 3 and a half year for my album. DON"T USE HER. She never call me back. She has passed me off to her assistant. Now he won't respond to any of my called. The quality of her work is horrible and her work ethics is even worse. She gave me 10% off for paying at the beginning and now look what I got. Nothing!
