Brian Khang Photographer

First, I must say that a good wedding photographer was of the most important things to me, and thus something I was willing to splurge on. I started looking into different photographers immediately I got engaged in March 2009 and it has been a long (and worthwhile) journey. In about 4 months, I corresponded with a zillion photographers and when I narrowed down my choices, I personally met with about half a dozen photographers based out of anywhere from SoCal to even the east-coast.

I'm a tough cookie (as my fiance would say), and Brian Khang has been a huge trooper to stay patient and happy to answer any questions or concerns I had. He is EXTREMELY responsive and is very willing to accomodate any special requests. He is very professional and punctual (he will call you on the dot when he says he will, compared to a few photographers who had been late to in-person meetings and didn't bother to call me). All in all, Brian definitely knows how to run his business, as he has definitely portrayed himself as a smart and business professional. I tend to value people's business acumen when making business decisions, and Brian exceeded my expectations.

If the above serves little importance, please note that Brian Khang is a very high-caliber, hard-working, personable, and passionate photographer. It shows in his portfolio, his personality, and his past reviews from clients. I even surveyed some of my past brides who follows photographers careers, and we all have Brian Khang marked for the next biggest upcoming photographer.

We took our epics with Brian this past Sunday... and 3 days later, the images have already been blogged! It was a pleasure working with him and he is up for anything and everything. We went to 3 locations in 3 hours and he captured some AMAZING photos! He gave us direction when we needed it, but also let us be natural for our photos. I can't wait until the wedding... I can only imagine what those pictures will be like!

Brian Khang was one of the first vendors we booked with for our March 2009 wedding. Photography was realy important to us (after food + booze... haha), so we wanted to get someone high quality with a pricetag that wouldn't break the bank. Brian was exactly what we were looking for.

I contacted him via email and he responded within 24 hours; giving us a ful pricelist and sending us links to galleries that he had done for past weddings. I'd also browsed through his blog and found that his photojournalistic style was what we were looking for-- able to capture the moment as is, but also get those important family portraits.

We met with him at his home studio and he showed us full weddings that he had shot. He started out as a photog in Connecticut and was now doing the same thing on the opposite coast. He's also working with [b]ecker as a protege (I think), so that doesn't hurt, either!

We were on a tight budget for photography and Brian gave us a slight discount and let us break our payments into smaller pieces. Getting a hold of him has been a piece of cake (email, contact through website, Twitter, Facebook, phone, etc.) and we're excited for our engagement shoot next month! He's open to a lot of ideas (we're going to 3 locations for our e-pics and 4 locations for our wedding day)... he's been nothing but enthusiastic and supportive of our wedding plans so far. He even stopped by our wedding website and signed our guestbook! We can't wait to work with him.

Brian is a wonderful and very talented photographer. He's a blast to work with, very easy going and laid back. We are both very happy with the moments he captured, helping us always remember our special day and all that it entailed- from the joyous moments of laughter, to the happy tears, and to the intricate details that made our day OURS. So many people have marvelled over how beautiful our pictures came out, and we are very thankful for everything Brian was able to capture. Pictures say a thousands words, and Brian's photography delivers beautiful ones...

Our experience with Brian Khang was phenomenal. Brian is a great photographer who knows how to capture the moment very well. Every one of his photos brings out the essence and feeling of warmth and empathy. He is definitely talented at what he does. Not only is Brian a great photographer, but he is like a friend to us. He made us feel very comfortable during our engagement session and went above and beyond our expectations on our wedding day, shooting thousands of pictures for us from morning until night. Thank you Brian for being such a wonderful photographer. From the very start, Melvin and I felt comfortable and confident that our wedding pictures would come out beautiful. Our wedding CD even came in a cute little case....which impressed us even more. The little things count and you certainly made it a point to make it matter! All of our friends and family are still raving about the quality and artistry of each picture. Throughout our entire ceremony, Brian captured every joyous minute. There is nothing like going back in time and having wonderful pictures to prove it. Brian has a wonderful gift, and it shows within his work.
