Brian Kinyon Photography

I highly recommend Brian Kinyon as a wedding photographer. He did a wonderful job on our wedding photos. We were very impressed with both the quality of the pictures and his talent and professionalism as a photographer. Brian was very courteous to all of our guests, and took the initiative to direct people how to gather and pose for photos - as bride and groom, we did not have to do a thing! We got a nice balance of candid and "required" pictures. Brian was also very flexible, even going to a movie theatre in Barrington and taking pictures in the dark, which turned out AMAZING! Thanks Brian for helping us to remember a great day :)

I cannot say enough about Brian!! I have not received my wedding photographs, but did do engagement pictures with him. Not only does he take flawless, beautiful photographs, but he has an artsy angle. He has an amazing ability to catch candids that make the bride and groom look as if they are the only two on the planet! The guests adored him! He is comfortable to work with and you can't help being completely at ease! I highly recommend him!

I haven't gotten my professional photos back yet, but I can say that Brian provided an incredibly positive experience for us at our wedding. Leading up to the day, he was lightning quick about responding to e-mails and offered great suggestions for photo locations and the timeline. During the wedding, he seemed to be everywhere at once without being obtrusive. He took time to properly stage the formal family portraits because he knew they were important to my mom - he made sure the train of my dress was smoothed between shots and skillfully directed traffic among all the disorganized family members.

Brian was quick on his feet and was able to scout interesting locations or natural lighting at the spur of the moment. He was also really flexible about the schedule - our family portraits ran overtime and then we cut short time reserved for the bridal party to shoot photos at a nearby park because we didn't want them to miss cocktail hour. Brian just rolled with whatever we decided.

Finally, at the reception, Brian went above and beyond his professional obligations when we toasted each table and took a photo with them. He put down his own camera and took group shots on guests' cameras whenever they asked! I was blown away by how laidback he was about this.

Our family members and bridal party were very complimentary about how nice Brian was. He was relaxed and easy to work with - very highly recommended!

Brian was probably our favorite vendor. It was more than i thought we were going to spend on photography. And fortunately we did get in before prices went up. But he was the photographer who impressed us the most. He asked really good questions and was really great about not steering us into shots or scenerios we weren't interested in. On the day of the wedding, he was shooting all the time but at the same time his presence didn't interfere with the experience.

Everyone in and at the wedding LOVED Brian! He is so easy to work with and takes such unique and beautiful pictures that truly reflect the feelings and emotions of the day. I can't say enough good things about his work!

Brian Kinyon was our wedding photographer, and he did a beautiful job! The album turned out fantastic- I loved it. The day of the wedding there was a 2 person team, and they took over 3000 digital shots. I didn’t want a lot of portraits taken, but Brian was able to capture the candids and "good moments" that I had hoped for. There were lots of laughing and dancing shots which captured the true spirit of my day. He was very easy to work with, and very unobtrusive. I forgot he was there for most of the day!

Brian is so easy-going and a total professional. I love working with him and a love seeing the end result--his stunning photos! I highly recommend him to my clients!

We have been lucky enough to work with Brian on quite a few weddings over the past few years and I cannot say enough good things about Brian. He is a genuinely great person and an excellent photographer. His background in different types of photography (architectural, food, models, etc) has really given him an advantage over average wedding photographers. He comes up with some really unique ideas and shots and his photographs are art!
