Bridal Elegance

I chose Bridal Elegance for my bridesmaids dresses because they carry the Dessy line and had a hard to find color of dresses. Our initial appointment went well and I found a dress for the girls, however they didn't have a swatch of the colors and I ended up picking the wrong one! Luckily, we were able to change the order before it was processed, but I thought it was strange that they didn't have the swatches and I had to rush ship them myself from Dessy.com. Once the dresses came in, they notified me right away and everything went smoothly for the most part. None of the girls used them for alterations, so I cannot attest to that. However I would recommend them based on their HUGE selection of Bridesmaids dresses.

I had a wonderful experience at Bridal Elegance. I found my dream dress there and worked with my consultant to altar the dress as needed. The seamstress, Jamie, that I worked with was fantastic. She listened to the changes I wanted and made them happen. She was very timely and made my dress look absolutely perfect. I felt like a beautiful bride on my wedding day. Bridal Elegance was a great salon. It was much more personal than other salons I went to (David's Bridal) and I did NOT feel like I was being rushed out the door or pressured into buying the dress. I would recommend Bridal Elegance to any bride! :) Thank you!

I loved working with everyone at Bridal Elegance! Everyone was so nice and accomodating with my schedule while I was finishing up school. Everyone was so helpful with finding the exact colors in the style that we had picked out for our wedding! I didn't get my bridal gown from Bridal Elegance, but I had all of my alterations done there. I couldn't have choosen a better place to have trusted my dress. She even noticed that I had lost 20 pounds! I felt so beautiful the day of my wedding and the bridesmaids all looked great as well!

DO NOT have your wedding dress, or any dress altered at Bridal Elegance! In fact, save yourself the headache and don't even go there! I absolutely loved my gown and thought it would be an easy process to fix the straps and length because everything else fit when I bought it. But then the nightmare started. I had to travel 5 times for dress fittings from out of town only to find that the dress no longer fit me, there were stitches showing, and the buttons were all uneven! The seamstress at Bridal Elegance blamed it on weight gain. REALLY?!? You are going to tell a 5'6'' 125 pound bride that she is fat, when she's been working to lose weight for the past 3 months!!! The horrible dress experience is the only bad experience we had with any of our vendors. I account this to the inexperienced, over-worked alterations department at Bridal Elegance. Wish I would have purchased the dress and gone to a separate, independent seamstress right away because that is what I had to end up doing 2 weeks before my wedding. That means I had to pay again to correct the screwed up job the first person did. Thankfully, my friend's seamstress at Pam's Custom Sewing did a miracle for me! She fixed the buttons, straps, waist, and bustle in 1 day!!! This proves that the seamstress at Bridal Elegance had NO idea what she was doing. It took her 6 months to ruin my dress!!! Plus, we found out she only took in one side under the arms so the zipper in the back was off center! I will NEVER go to Bridal Elegance again or recommend to anybody after that experience. Please go to Pam's Custom Alterations in Zeeland, MI if you want quality, low-stress service!!!

Bridal Elegance was such an amazing salon that really helped to save my wedding. I purchased bridesmaid dresses from a different salon and they came back the wrong color and did nothing to solve the problem. Three months before my wedding I went to Bridal Elegance and they went above and beyond all of my expectations to solve the problem in a timely manner. I was also having a problem finding bridal shoes and they searched all over for me. I would recommend there personal, quality service to anyone!

Found my dress on the first fitting. They didn't have the exact style but ordered it for me, fitted and altered it, and helped me find the perfect veil. They are the only place in the area that carries Sophia Tolli.

It was a dream to work with Bridal Elegance. When I found the dress online, I knew it was perfect for the beach wedding my fiancé and I were planning. Various area boutiques carried the dress according to the website of the designer. Prior to selecting a boutique with which to set an appointment to try on the dress, I called to ask questions such as price of the gown, availability of accessories, etc. Bridal Elegance seemed to be the most knowledgeable about the dress as well as the best most affordable. Once at the boutique, I knew that both the dress and the establishment were the right fit for me. The staff was attentive and pleasant, never once making me feel rushed or the small size of the bridal party insignificant. Leading up to the momentous occasion, I was working two jobs and attending school full-time. Bridal Elegance understood my time commitments and worked around my schedule, being considerate of my hectic schedule by their promptness at my appointment times. Aubrey, my seamstress, excelled in her vocation. She went above and beyond just doing fittings by taking the time to suggest jewelry and to present multiple options for a wrap to compliment the gown.I cannot overemphasize how pleased I am with how my big day turned out, thanks in part to this gem of a boutique. Many thanks to Bridal Elegance for a gown that aptly reflected my fairytale day.

Love Love Love! I had the best day ever because of my dress which was found by the lady who actually altered my dress.... which fit perfect the day of my wedding. I lost weight even the last week and she still managed to make the dress fit perfectly. My dress alterer was Carol. Very sweet and understood how I was very nervous for the day to come. I even received a discount because I purchased it all that day!

I had a fabulous experience. The ladies who work there were attentive, supportive, and patient. After looking at several dress shops, I found my dress at Bridal Elegance. It was the perfect dress and they tailored it to fit me like a glove. I received numerous comments all nite on how beautiful the dress was and I felt amazing.

I found my bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Elegance, and they were the best price I could find all around. The staff was helpful, especially with my out of town bridesmaids, and most importantly the dresses came in quickly! Very happy with their services.

I was really happy with Bridal Elegance. I bought my dress, shoes, headband, and bra from them. I liked how they stored my dress for me; otherwise it would have risked cat hair before the wedding day. The headband seems like it was a bit pricy, but it didn't hurt my head, like most do, so it was worth it. The shoes and dress were a great deal. The bra seems like it took awhile to ship, if I remember correctly, but the service was always good. The women who work there were very friendly and the alterations made the dress look truly amazing.

Great service and amazing selection. Large dressing rooms and your own personal assistant that offer honest and good input. A lot of discounts are available, like if you pay half of the total by check and if you pay in full. If you get your gown there, you also get discounts on shoes and your bridesmaids can get discounts on their dresses. There is a refundable $5 charge for trying on bridesmaids dresses, it's free to try on bridal gowns! I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the Grand Rapids area!

I got my dress altered at Bridal Elegance because I was less than impressed with the store I purchased my dress at, and I knew two brides who had gotten dresses altered there. My dress was done on time and it looked great. I live about an hour away from the store and they were very flexible to work with. I would recommend them to a friend.

THe shop has a wide variety of dresses, and people are more than willing to help you if you have an appointment. They are not at all happy should you be 5 minutes late for that appointment and will remind you that they won't spend 5 minutes with you beyond your appointment if it would be infringing on someone's time. The alterations are pricey, but are done well. The service is good - but you need an appointment for everything. They gave my bridal party a bit of a hard time because one of them wanted the dress in a different style - which apparently changes whether or not they would get the "bridal party discount'. But, overall, a good experience. I had been to shops where the people were more friendly, welcoming and flexible, but this shop has a wider variety than most in the area.

Bridal Elegance was awesome! They did my dress, groomsmen tuxes and bridesmaid dresses. We had NO problems at all. Everyone's attire fix to a "t" and we received so many compliments on how great everything looked. I looked at numerous bridal shops and no one had the dress i wanted except for BE. Their seamstress was awesome. I had a very heavy dress and not ONE bussel broke on my dress for the whole day! They were awesome. I would recommend them to anyone. This is the store I turned to after a horrible experience at David's Bridal. They allowed us to come in with my bridesmaids on two different dates and try on a few dresses with no problem. However, we had to pay $5 every time we walked into the store (nonrefundable if you don't buy anything there, or applied to your order if you order from the store). I also wanted a fabric swatch so I could use it to match table runners, flowers, etc. and that cost $15 for a one inch square of scrap fabric. Another problem is that they have each dress is one size only so my plus size bridesmaid could not try on the dress. I found a bridesmaid dress that I LOVED and we ordered from the store. It took 4 months for the dresses to come in but they were exactly what I wanted. None of my girls did alterations there because it was so expensive. I felt like I got average service but was willing to pay extra for a dress that I loved and could not find anywhere else in Michigan.

Overall, I had a good experience. I found my perffect dress on my first visit and was able to receive some good discounts on it by purchasing it that day. They had a wide assortment of prices from inexpensive to expensive. They carry many well-known designers, which is nice as it is foten hard to find them outside of the big cities. In addition, although their service wasn't top notch as I would expect when making such a big purchase, the alterations were top notch. We had several alterations appointments, and it did not even end up being that expensive. The woman who heads the alterations really wanted to make sure I was 110% happy and comfortable in my dress. That made up for the service while bridesmaid and wedding dress shopping.

The employees at Bridal Elegance in Erie PA are extremly helpful and patient. They understand the importance and are willing to go out of their way to help you.

They were great to work with and they have several discounts I was able to take advantage of. By combining them all, I got 25% off my Maggie Sottero dress. I had my alterations done there, also and they did a wonderful job.

Getting my gown at Bridal Elegance was a great experience. They were extremely flexible and made my alterations experience enjoyable.

I ended up buying three dresses from Bridal Elegance because they were SUCH a great price! They were so helpful from soup to nuts.

Bridal elegance is without a doubt one of my favorite vendors. They was attentive, helpful, responisive and just all around fun. They honestly listen to you when you tell them what it is you are looking for, set you up in a dressing room the size of a small bedroom with countless dresses, and give you honest feedback. I went in last minute after a previous dress disaster, needing an off the rack dress for an affordable price (since I'd already bought one dress). They gave me off the rack shopping discounts, first visit purchase discounts and a few others (mainly because I fell in love with a dress that was just a little outside my budget). They helped me find what I needed and helped me make it fit my budget. If you are shopping in the Grand Rapids area, be sure to stop by here. It's well worth it!

Originally, I had a different company custom make my wedding dress. I received the dress they made me 8 weeks before my wedding and it was a disaster. Eight weeks until the wedding and I was dressless. I called Bridal Elegance and explained my situation to them and they said I could purchase any of their dresses off the rack if I would like (though traditionally, they order the dress new for the bride.) When I went to look at their dresses, they had so many dresses, looking at them was overwhelming but the employee assisting me showed to my dressing room (which was nearly size of my bedroom at home) and asked what I was interested in style wise and what my price range was. Having already purchased one dress, my budget was tight. Within 5 minutes, I had a dozen dresses in my room that were all absolutely gorgeous (and affordable!). 30 minutes later I was in what could only be described as the dress of my dreams. They made what seemed like a daunting task so easy (and very, very fun). From more dresses than I could count, to super extra large dressing rooms and the most helpful employees you could image, Bridal Elegance is now by far my favorite wedding vender. So thanks for saving my wedding day bridal elegance! I'd of been dressless without you!!!

I purchased my dress from Bridal Elegance and was very happy with their services and selection. The price of my dress was much lower then two other stores I had previously visited and came in well before the estimated delivery date. I would definately recommend them to other brides.

My only complaint was the responsiveness when I first started the process of looking for bridesmaid dresses. When I called they had requested I email my requests to their customer service email... I wasn't sure why they couldn't just answer my question while I was on the phone. They also charge a fee to try dresses on here, which I had never heard of, but you do end up getting it back if you purchase anything.Once I was there to try on and ordered my dresses everyone was very helpful! I had a lot of bridesmaids from out of town and they were very helpful to each of my bridesmaids who had to order etc.. Their seamstress was very good as well for the few bridesmaids that did utilize that service.

Bridal Elegance was great to work with. They treated me like a queen as I tried on a bunch of dresses. I came back twice to put the dress on to make sure it was right and they let me use as much time as I wanted. What was even better, was their alterations people. She was wonderful to work with, so nice, always spents lots of time with me and never made me feel rushed.

This was the first store I went to when shopping for my wedding gown. They had an excellent selection! I found my dress in one day, and after searching at a few other shops, I came back to Bridal Elegance. They were so friendly and helpful, it was so easy to work with them. Aubrey did my alterations and my custom veil (which she came up with the excellent idea for!). She is so talented and understands how to make the dress fit you perfectly!

Bridal Elegance is a bridal shop with a very good selection of gowns, and attentive, knowledgable staff. I bought my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses from them. Bridesmaids receive many discounts, especially if the bride purchased her dress there. I found my wedding gown at a different shop for a cheaper price, and they honored that shop's price. The store is beautiful and you will definitely be treated like the special bride you are.

Bridal elegance was wonderful to work with everything from getting my bridesmaids dresses shipped to 3 different states to alterations they go out of their way to make their customers happy . Audra was the person that did my alterations and measuring and she was very careful not cut off to much material at the bottom ( I am very short 4"10 3/4) they helped show my mistress of ceremony and my mom how to hook my bustle very pleased with this dress shop

I can't say enough about Bridal Elegance!! I got my dress there and we did the tuxes through them as well. Affordable, very professional, and super sweet! The women that work there are very knowledgeable and helpful and so kind. They truly want to help and are very supportive.

I LOVED my dress (2B) and felt completely confident in the service of Bridal Elegance. The seamstress (Kim) was AMAZING and did such a wonderful job. Cheri made my veil, and when I didn't like the first one (the design, not the quality), she quickly made another one without a question or additional costs. The price for fittings was very reasonable, and they made sure to fit me in enough times to not have to worry about the dress the day-of of the wedding. Overall, I was VERY happy with the services and the dress! Thank you!

I used Bridal Elegance for my bridesmaid dresses. These dresses were available at other bridal stores in the area, but I decided to go with BE because of their location and the staff was helpful. The dresses were not competitively priced, but I don't think they are at any bridal store. I was happy with the flexibility for scheduling for the most part. Dresses came in on time and looked just as I had expected.

Bridal Elegance is the place to go in Grand Rapids to get your wedding attire. I got my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses there. They have a great selection of dresses! Aubrey did my alterations and she did a wonderful job. She was very easy to work with. She used the extra fabric from the bridesmaid dress alterations to make an identical color sash for my ring bearer pillow. The staff is very friendly, easy to work with and helpful. I highly recommend Bridal Elegance.

I got my bridesmaid dresses from here. They are very professional. I wasn't IN LOVE with anything they did, but they didn't cause me any major problems either. I suppose I'd go there again.

They really make you feel like a princess! They will decorate you up with viel, jewlery shoes, everything to make sure this is what you want for your big day! The women there are very professional and kind. You need to take off your shoes when you enter. Its like walking in with your own personal wedding planners!

Loved the quality off dresses in the store - alterations were pricey, but they did an awesome job. I liked how they kept the dresses until the day of so they were in perfect shape.

I had a pretty good experience here. I was having a smaller ceremony with a smaller budget but wanted something elegant. They were quick to recommend a Vera Wang bridesmaid dress that was easily tailored to look like a bridal gown. The only problem I encountered was the color order, I had wanted an antique white and after placing the order I was informed around 2 weeks later that the fabric I had chosen wasn't available in that color. It didn't leave me enough time to order a gown somewhere else so I had to choose a more golden color. The color ended up being perfect I was just put off at the delay in notification about the color.

I found the perfect dress. I got to come back and try it on until it fit just right. I came in looking for another dress that they had but that dress looked so bad on me. They helped me find a dress I loved that flattered me in just the right ways.
