I was very impressed by my experience at Bridal Elegance. The owner, Terry, goes above and beyond to make sure brides receive a great experience and can take in every minute of finding the perfect wedding gown. Not only are their gowns gorgeous, but I found out Terry also designs some of the dresses herself, which I thought was incredible. I have been to places like David's Bridal before and hated that they took my info and sold it to retailers and I felt like a number. At Bridal Elegance this will not be the case. Thanks to them I found my dream gown and I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day.
I don't even live in Colorado Springs, but after having such a great experience with this store, I decided to have all my bridesmaids go through them for their dresses because I knew, even from a distance they would receive the best service around.
Thank you Bridal Elegance, I make sure to mention your name to every new bride I know!
I am not sure what I would have done without the services of Terry at Bridal Elegance. It first began when I was shopping for dresses and we went to the shop and there was my dress! The perfect dress! The staff was helpful and made me feel like the Bride. I then met with Terry Ortega
(Wedding planner extrodinare) she is the best in the business! She has helped me and my fiance every step of the way of the planning and sticking to our budget. Her designs are wonderful and she has accompanied me on every step of the meetings with Hotel, Florist, Cake, car service, everything! and she will be there for me and my fiance on our specail day to assure everything is perfect on our perfect day!
Overall very unhappy all around. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I did talk to the owner to share my disappointment.
I called the team at Bridal Elegance just 3 months prior to our wedding. They immediately fit me in for an appointment. When I got there they listened to my requests for what I was looking for and had me in the dressing room trying on gown after gown within minutes. Since my wedding was so close, they couldn't order a dress for me, so I had to buy one off the rack, but that didn't stop the team there from helping me find THE DRESS!! I think I tried on a good 10 dresses, maybe more, but in the end I ended up with a unique, gorgeous dress that was perfect for ME! It was 2 sizes too big for me, but the in-house seamstress took it in and made it fit me like it was made just for my body all along. I can't thank them enough for all that they did for me! I received so many compliments on my wedding gown and everyone loved how unique it was too. So THANK YOU a million times to Bridal Elegance! You truly played a huge part in making my wedding day a success!
When I first drove up to Bridal Elegance my first thought was there is no way I am buying a dress here. But trust me once you step inside the dresses, staff, and good prices will make you forget about the location. I found a Maggie Sottero dress here and could not believe the deal I got. I added more to my dress and the seamstress went through many painstaking days to give me exactly what I wanted.
Every fitting I had i felt very important and the staff was friendly!
I decided to go here when I was looking for my wedding dress because I had bought my Debutante gown here a few years ago and was very pleased with their service. This time though I felt as if I was beating my head against the wall trying to get them to show me what I wanted. I had looked at Davids Bridal before coming here and had decided I wanted a dress that was mainly lace but when I told my consultant this it was like she didn't want to listen to me and she didn't show me any dresses with lace. Another thing I asked for was a dress that didn't have a lot of volume because I really didn't want a ballgown, but again this was the majority of what they showed me. I also felt like the consultant felt like she knew what it was that I should want regardless of what I was saying. I was very frustrated with this because near the end of my appointment my bridesmaid and I decided to take charge and pull a few dresses that actually had what I was looking for and we had to basically force the consultant to put me in them because she kept saying things like, "well I don't think this one will fit or won't look good" but these were the dresses that fit better than the ones she had been pulling and were some of our favorites. Also when I asked her to grab a vail for one of the dresses I had on I asked her to grab a simple one and she kept bringing back vails that had all kinds of different embellishments on them, I didn't get a vail I liked until my bridesmaid went and grabbed one. At the end of our appointment the manager came and informed my consultant that they had a bride waiting and they needed to go attend to them. My consultant then left me and my bridesmaid in the viewing room and went to put away all the dresses I had pulled because I wanted to see them. She was too busy when I got back to the dressing room to help me so my bridesmaid ended up having to help me out of the dress. Overall I was very displeased by the service here and the lack of selection of dresses other than ballgowns! I used to think that this would be the place I would find my dress because when I came as a debutante I was treated excellently but now I wouldn't even suggest it to my friends. I went back to Davids Bridal after this and bought my dream dress there!
I first met with my consultant Laurie last year in March, we were planning an October wedding at that time. I tried on 3 dresses and the last one was perfect; I fell in love instantly. A month after finding my dress we found out we were expecting and the ladies at Bridal Elegance were so awesome and helpful. We ended up moving the wedding date to May 2011 because I just loved that dress so much. They were very quick with getting me in and ordering the dress as soon as I had my baby. The alterations were fast and I had a perfect day in the perfect dress. They are so nice and were so fun and easy to work with.
I loved Bridal Elegance. They had lots of choices and I liked them all. The only downside to their service is that they will push the limit on your price range and often show you dresses that are over your price range. I was very happy with the wedding dress and brides maid dress that I got from them.
Ashley helped me find the perfect dress when I had no clue what I was looking for or even wanted. She helped me with every asspect I had questions about from bridesmaid dresses, to linens, to venues and even flowers. Ashley also bent over backwards to have some last minute alterations done on my dress. There hole staff is friendly and knowledgeable. She made my dream dress a relatity! This store is a one stop shop, everything you need to plan your wedding is there. Although I didn't use all there suggested vendors they do have a phethora of them.
My bridal gown is perfect! The dress was $750 and my veil was about $365. I went with a cathedral veil and added some extras to it. They manager is awesome! Very good to work with and treated me as an individual and not just another sale. The staff were all very helpful and professional. They let us take pics unlike some other shops.
I went with Bridal Elegance as they were the only bridal store that carried Maggie Sotterro dresses and was pleasantly surprised by their service. My consultant, Lindsey, was so helpful. I knew what I wanted and she made sure I got it. They have deals for your bridesmaids and groomsman as well, since they offer both attendant dresses and tuxes. Sherry, the seamstress, was outstanding and made the bustle on my dress look as if the dress had been made that way. They offer shoe's, tiara's, veils, and accessories. I had been to Davids Bridal and HATED it. I felt rushed and the selection was "trendy." At B.E. I felt as if I was the only bride there and the selection was amazing. I will be going through them to have my dress preserved as well. I couldn't be happier with my dress or the service there.
First store...first dress! Stacy knew exactly what we wanted and found something that would look beautiful on my daughter. We chose a Maggie Sotero strapless gown in satin with an asymmetrical line. It was comfortable and stunning! Dress and veil together ran $750. People were blown away! Her new location is lovely with large dressing rooms. Her alterations person was terrific...they even altered, stored and steamed my dress (mother of the bride) and it was purchased from a different store! She has a good selection of bridal gowns as well as bridesmaid dresses, shoes, veils and jewelry.
I didn't buy my dress here, because I found a bridal boutique that was closing and snatched up a dress there. However, if I hadn't seem that dress, I would have come here to buy it. The service is wonderful, everyone is very helpful and they have a large selection. I bought my shoes here, and couldn't be happier with them!
Jessica was amazing to work with! She didn't rush me into a decision on my dress. She took the time that I wanted to spend on trying on dresses. She was very informative and was very knowledgable. She explained all of my options and was wonderful and patient with me.
They had great options and was very resonable. They went above and beyond. For the price they were well worth it!
After a disastrous encounter with David's Bridal in Colorado Springs, CO, I found Bridal Elegance through word of mouth. The ladies in this shop were friendly, sympathetic, and accommodating. Since my husband and I were planning a very quick wedding (Labor Day proposal, Thanksgiving weekend wedding), they were prompt and fastidious in their service. I was looking for a non-traditional gown, and knowing this did not stop these women from offering an extraordinary level of service. I wound up spending less than $500 on my tea-length, turquoise satin gown, yet these women treated me as though I were spending thousands of dollars. They have in-store seamstresses who worked diligently and professionally on altering my dress to fit with my wishes. They were even so dextrous as to create a matching tie from the cuttings of my dress for my husband to wear during the ceremony!
I could not have had a better dress-shopping experience. There is definitely something to be said for patronizing a small business such as this one! I know that I will recommend this store to my friends who are going to be getting their dresses in the Colorado Springs area.
I had been to probably 3 other dress shops before my mom and I decided to venture down to the Springs and look around. We arrived at Bridal Elegance, where surprisingly they have a very large selection of gowns. I had convinced myself I wanted a fit and flare or trumpet style dress but had not had success at the other stores. I shared this with my consultant and she grabbed maybe 6-7 dresses to try on. As I worked my way through several dresses of the style I thought I wanted, she started to realize I didn't really like the fit and flare. So, politely she asked if she could try something else. I told her I was open to new ideas.
As she slipped a Maggie Sottero gown, A-line and covered in lace over my head, I though we'll see about this... the back was corsette, and the whole dress was softly draped in a unique lace overlay. As I looked down at it, she was lacing me up, I said,"wow this looks like vintage table cloth". She stopped and asked if I even wanted to bother with going out into the viewing room to see it. I told her, no I think she might be on to something.
As I rounded the corner in the strapless, sweetheart neckline, a-line dress - I couldn't believe it. She had found my dress!
I think I stood there for over an hour in shock and in love! It was a one of a kind dress and it fit perfectly.
I started with my first alterations that day, getting the hem pinned and the bustle designed.
Each time I had to drive back down to the Springs, I was so excited to visit my dress. The ladys were amazing, helpful, friendly. They did the proper alterations with out excessive expenses.
I have since driven two of my friends down to their store to find their perfect dress!!!
Say "I do!" to Bridal Elegance!
