Bridal Elegance by Suman Khosla

Suman is absolutely amazing. When I initially started looking for hair/makeup artists for my wedding day I scheduled to meet and interview a few vendors, but after meeting Suman first I decided not to look any further. She is so warm and friendly that I felt comfortable with her right away. Then I saw her portfolio and was blown away by her creativity and skills and knew I had to work with her.

Suman and her wonderful assistant did my hair, makeup and mehndi as well as the hair/makeup/mehndi for my mom and bridal party and we all looked absolutely flawless. Seeing my mom, who is usually very reserved about wearing makeup and doing her hair, look so beautiful and confident was one of the highlights of my day. Suman was with me from 7am until 7pm on my wedding day and I'll never forget how at ease she made me feel. She is such a talented artist and kind person, I promise you will not regret choosing her to be with you on your big day.

Simply AMAZING!!! I received soo many compliments as a bride at the wedding all due to her attention to detail and talent in getting me ready for both the wedding and reception. She is the ONLY choice for a makeup artist in the MD/DC/VA area.

She also did an amazing job with hair and makeup for my mom, sister n law and a cousin on my wedding day!

If you're Indian, you must hire her. If you're not Indian, you must hire her because she just knows beauty well and the chemistry of the various beauty products out there to know what works best with your skin.

She has various wedding packages (to include eyebrows, waxing, facials, body scrubs, etc), but you can customize. When I first met her at an Indian bridal show, I was very hesitant to hire her b/c she has so many customers that you are just a number. That bothered me in the beginning, but the more I went to her for facials (to get my skin in perfect condition by my wedding day), the more I realized she is such a nice person who really cares. She is just honestly swamped b/c she is that highly sought after/demanded. She really knows her stuff too (Aveda certified, and mendhi is great too).

My wedding day makeup was incredible---I have really oily skin, and on that day, didn't even experience that (wedding pictures and videography proved it!). Suman cares that your skin is flawless by your wedding day, so her basic wedding package always includes a brightening facial. I have acne-prone skin, and by my wedding day, that was the first time in my life that my face was clear (not even dermatologists could get that done).

Really, put all things aside from first impressions I shared, she is a genuinely nice person and I still go to her for hair trims, facials, waxing, body scrubs (her assistant Andy is amazing--she's so sweet too!), pedicures/manicures, etc. She does everything beauty related, which makes it cheaper in the long run b/c you're not finding someone different for various services (and cheaper on the wedding day b/c you're not paying for multiple people to come!).

Suman did an AMAZiNG job. I had a 7- 10 AM appt with her for Hair, make-up, setting my veil, and setting my jewelry. I was an Indian bride but I am sure she can do amazing on any skin type. She is mac-certified and continuously goes after different courses and trainings in various fields of cosmetics. She is extremely talented and now works with models to keep up with the trends and always working to do things differently. Everyone loved my makeup the day of and I was impressed at how methodically yet quickly she works. Although a bit pricey, I would hardly recommend her, especially for the bride who has no time for trials and running to different people for different services the day of her wedding.
