Bridal Fantasy

I have been using Nancy for years as a bridesmaids and was finally able to use her for my wedding dress! I found my dress at another location, called Lucy and she got it in for me. She did a beautiful job with my bustling my dress - it came out gorgeous! My entire bridal party and both moms used Lucy as well. Her appointments tend to last quite a bit most times, she tends to be a little scatterbrained and has a lot going on. For bridesmaids, be prepared to go see Lucy at least 3 times to make sure your dress fits the way you would like. Make sure to go in to her to get your measurements, as we have had many mistakes when calling in measurements.

I was really looking forward to ordering my wedding dress here from all of the great this I've heard. I ordered my dress a year before my wedding I was told I'd get a phone call when my dress was ordered. I never received one. I was never told when my dress came in. They couldn't give me a straight answer as to when to start my "alterations" all I needed was a hem. My wedding was in October and I started alterations on August. Every time I showed up I had to wait at LEAST a half hour because she was to busy even though I had an appointment. My "final" fitting after being back there at least 5 times just for a hem she told me to come back for the dress October 17th I told her my wedding was October 15th. I was to go back two days before my wedding to pick up the dress and it was still to long.
Talk about stressful!

Lucy Palmisano at Bridal Fantasy is not only the best seamstress but also the sweetest woman to work with. She treats you as though you are family. Makes your dress fit you perfectly. Gives you so much more for your money than any other dress shop! Everyone I know has gotten their wedding & bridesmaids dresses there! Bridal Fantasy is the best!

The ladies of Bridal Fantasy are incredible. I purchased my wedding gown from them for my November 2010 wedding. It was a great experience -- they are extremely talented seamstresses and my dress fit like a glove! So happy I chose Bridal Fantasy.

I can’t say enough about Lucy and Fantasy Bridal. Lucy is an absolute doll and a truly amazing seamstress! We purchased my dress, my veil, my mom's dress, and my grandmother’s dress at the shop. Lucy and her team not only make you feel like you’re their most important costumer, but they make you feel like family. Lucy and the women at Bridal Fantasy are amazing. My dress was everything I hoped for and more. They made me feel like a princess. Any concern I had with the dress they fixed or altered....no matter how many fittings it took. It was a pleasure working with Lucy and I would suggest her to all brides in NJ. She is very detailed and will make sure your dress comes out perfect!

All the women in my wedding party went to Lucy for dresses including bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, and of course me, the bride. She and the girls were great to work with. They were even able to order a dress from Maggie Sottero they didn't carry in the store. The prices can't be beat and alterations are included! It's a very small boutique, but this lets the ladies give you personalized service you won't find anywhere else in the area. The one small complaint I would have is that my bustle was dragging on one side more than expected about halfway through the reception. It was definitely a difficult bustle because one side of the skirt had a wide pleat and therefore a lot of extra fabric, and it also had a bubble hem. But I would absolutely recommend you go see Lucy for all your dresses and definitely keep in mind they can order dresses from a number of different designers, even if they don't carry a sample in the store.

My friend used Lucy for her wedding and she's so wonderful we used her for mine. We had 5 dresses ordered aside from my own and Lucy made every one of us feel and look fantastic!

Lucy has a big selection of dresses. She is a pleasure to work with! All the alterations are free which is a big plus! Lucy took a lot of time to alter the dress just right. Friendly atmosphere and a lot of personal attention!

lucy is the greatest! i brought her a 7 year old discontinued demetrios dress that needed a lot of work. my dress is peau de soie silk and needed about 4 inches taken in on the top, reconstructed in the back. she managed to do it all in 3 fittings and my dress looked beautiful! she even managed to find matching beading (almost perfectly matching) and applied it to the area she reconstructed.

if you want your dress done right, take it to lucy. she'll do a GREAT job!

This was a good way to get an idea of what you want, but I found a lot of the vendors were the more expensive people. It was good to walk to get your ideas, but then search on the internet for something cheaper.

Lucy and the girls were wonderful. They helped me every step of the way. Whenever I needed to stop in to match something or try on my dress they let me, without any hassle. My dress came out perfect. I couldnt have asked for a better fit.
