Remona is the most amazing hair designer I have ever met! She made me and all my bridesmaids look so beautiful I couldn't have asked for anything more. She is a total perfectionist and won't be happy until you are. She's an absolute joy to work with and so fun to have around on the big day. You'd be crazy not to book her.

Remona, Barbara and her team are top-notch! I hired Remona's services for my wedding day and I could not be happier. Barbara read my vision completely and she was so great to work with. She is very talented and had all sorts of fun/different hair accessories for my trial - which helped me decide on how I wanted my updo (since I had no idea!). Barbara had great recommendations for my features and I am SOOO happy with her work on my wedding day. EVERYONE loved my hair! Super elegant, classy and fabulous!! My entire wedding party, 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and the flower girl all looked great too :) All of my bridesmaids could not stop talking about how much they loved their hair!! Everyone looked like a million bucks :)

I am so thrilled I found Remona to do my hair for my wedding! From the beginning, she was a pleasure to work with. I knew I wanted to wear my hair up but wasn't sure what style I wanted. I was looking for a classic, modern look that didn't veer into terrible prom hair. When I had my hair trial with Remona, it became clear that whatever she did with my hair would be amazing! She quickly understood the overall style I like (and don't like) and came up with 3 options - all of which were great. What's more, she took the time to really listen to what I liked or didn't like and played around with styles until she knew I liked them. With so many other decisions to make at the time, Remona made this one fun and easy.

I chose a mid level bun with a lot of front volume. I have long, fine blonde hair so I was curious to know if it would be possible for my hair to look full pulled back without making it look artificial or too fake. Remona added extensions (made from real hair that was a near perfect match to my own) and a filler. The final style looked so simple and classic - I loved it!

In addition to doing such a fabulous job with my hair, Remona was a really lovely presence on my actual wedding day. She was totally calm, arrived early, and was just the perfect person to sit in the chair with as I got ready to walk down the aisle. I'd add that two of my bridesmaids decided at the last minute that they wanted a bit of help with their hair and Remona graciously fit them in with some expert touch-ups. In fact, she made all of my bridesmaids who had their hair done look great. I didn't specify a certain style - I just wanted my bridesmaids to look simple and classic (without falling into the spiral-curled bridesmaid rut!). Remona did something different for each of them and they all looked so great!

In sum, I cannot recommend Remona enough. She will make you look and feel incredible on your wedding day!

Asking Remona to be the stylist for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made during the entire wedding planning process. Not only is she extremely talented, professional, and determined to provide her clients exactly what they want - she's so friendly, caring, and just such a joy to be around.
I felt 100% confident that my hair was going to be just perfect for my wedding - and of course it was. Making a bride feel so at ease and relaxed on her wedding day is no simple feat, but Remona managed to do that. She provided my bridal party (even the ring bearer and flower girl!) with some fantistic hairstyles - everyone was so pleased with her service, and everyone mentioned how much they enjoyed talking and laughing with her during their sessions. Do NOT get your hair done by Remona Soleimani if you aren't ready to be completely blown away and in LOVE with the final results! I mean honestly laidies, you do not need to look any further because this woman is IT! Her styling is TOP QUALITY! You will never see your hair look so good and receive as many compliments as you will when Remona does your hair.

She takes her work seriously, and if she feels as though she is not 100% satisfied with a hairstyle then she takes the time to try multiple different hairstyles until it is "The One." I don't mean just a little flip of the bangs from one side to another, she goes from a full up-do, to down, to half up half down, until it is perfect!

She will give you exactly, EXACTLY what you're looking for, even when given vague specifications! She knows what looks good on my face, she knows how to get my hair to do precisely what she wants it to do, SHE IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!

I cannot say enough good things about Remona. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she truly cares about her brides and will make you feel your most beautiful. At our first trial, I was completely confused on what hairstyle I wanted. After asking me all about the wedding, my fiance, our relationship, etc., Remona said not to worry, she had a few ideas to try. Each style was more beautiful than the next. We decided on a look, and Remona asked me to come back for a second trial, so she could cut my hair a little bit and make sure we got the style just right. This is how Remona is- she goes the extra mile to make sure her work is the best and you are happy. On the day of the wedding, Remona and her assistant styled the hair of all of my bridesmaids and mother. They were so warm and sweet to everyone and helped make getting ready together so much fun. Remona was one of my very very favorite vendors in the entire wedding. First, she is beyond talented. She just touches your hair and it sits just perfectly. Second, she really cares about her clients. You can tell this is her passion and she really listens to you. She spent time just playing around with my hair and different looks that we could do so that on the wedding and reception day so we were certain what would be the best for my hair given my hair type, outfits, etc. Third, she is an absolutely joy to be around. She keeps you calm and she has a great perspective on life and weddings! That is key during the wedding time. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone.

Remona was a pleasure to work with prior to my wedding and on the day of. She was extremely poised, professional, honest and confident! We met prior to my wedding for a trial where Remona really tried to understand my style and personality, so that she could customize my experience and make my wedding the best it could be. Bridal Hair by Remona was probably my favorite vendor on my wedding day. I had a large bridal party; 8 girls and two mom's, Yvonne and Donnie did an amazing job on all of us. I had to be ready by 1:00pm, which meant an early morning. Yvonne and Donnie showed up to our hotel on time, 7:00am and had us ready by 1:00pm. My hair looked amazing all night and I got a lot of compliments on it. I was so happy with the service provided by Remona and will be sure to recommend Bridal Hair by Remona to my friends.

Words can't describe just how wonderful Remona is. She is not only extremely talented, but a lovely person to be around. Remona styled my hair for two events: my Sangeet and wedding. She was so attentive and made me feel like I was her only bride; spending time during our hair trial to show me multiple options and making sure she got it exactly right.

Well she did! Remona created two very unique half up/half down styles for my events. I received so many compliments on my hair and how great it looked. It held all day and lasted through some pretty intense dance sessions. At the end of the night my hair still looked just as Remona had left me. It was beautiful! My husband is Indian and a number of his relatives commented on her excellent incorporation of my tikka in my hairstyle for the Sangeet. For the wedding, she and her assistant also styled my bridesmaids' hair, giving each girl a different style while making sure that they all went well together in pictures. My girls couldn't have been happier and really appreciated the extra attention. My mom was planning to do her own hair, but they offered to help her with her style and my mom loved the outcome.

Besides being the best-of-the-best at what she does, Remona is just a delight to be around. I spent most of my wedding morning with her and from her 8am greeting of "hello beautiful bride" to playing fun music and helping me relax I couldn't have been in better hands. She is so calming and caring about you and your special day. She even saved the day when my dad got some black marks on my wedding dress! Remona was there, towel in hand, to buff it out. When we ran a bit behind schedule with me getting dressed, she stayed in order to show my sister how to safely remove my veil after our ceremony. Bottom Line- - Remona did a fabulous job on my hair and the hair of my mother and bridesmaids. I'd reccomend her to anyone.

Here's why I was so pleased with Remona- - Remona was able to style my hair perfectly and it stayed in place the whole night. This is nothing short of a miracle given how fine my hair is. For one evening I can say I had great, perfect, durable hair. She really listned to me and gave me the style that I wanted. When the hair clip I had planned on using for the evening broke, Remona saved the day by having a number of other options in her bag.

In addition to being absolutely great at what she does, Remona is also a true professional. She really made me feel great about my special day and relaxed me while I was gettin gready. Brides to be, something to remember is that you will likely spend the majority of your wedding day with your hair stylist and also your photographer. So pick these vendors wisely. Remona was the first person I saw on my wedding day and she was so upbeat and positive that any anxiety I might have had flew right out the window.

Remona is the absolute best around! My hair was amazing; I could not believe it was my hair that looked so glamorous. My day would not have been such a huge success without her coordination of all my girl's hair as well. It was a huge relief to know she would handle it. She is a wonderful calming factor on a very stressful day. Remona even helped avoid disaster with my wedding dress when a stich came out and she sewed my bustle back together!

Remona is one fabulous hairstylist. I was lucky enough to have her with me on my wedding day. She has such a calm about her which you need surrounding you on such an important day. Even with all the last minute running around Remona managed all our time beautifully and made sure we were all ready in time for the ceremony. She started out setting our hair to be prepped for our Up-Dos, and while we set did my Mother-in-laws blow out. She had let her hair grow out for the wedding and was so happy to be included. Remona was able to make all the ladies in my life feel and look absolutely beautiful. She finished my Mom in an elegant French twist which insured a fantastic style throughout the day and night on her fine hair. My Sister, who was my maid of honor, and best friend, who was my bridesmaid, both got their long hair pinned up in soft curled styles that compliemented my hairstyle as well. Remona saved me for last and put my hair up perfectly. I get so many compliments on how beautiful my hair was whenever people look at my pictures. Thank you Remona for making me look so beautiful!

Remona is just fabulous!! Her work is incredible but most importantly, she is such a genuinely wonderful person and someone I really enjoyed getting to spend time with while my bridal party and I got ready on my wedding day. I met with Remona several months before our wedding for my trial. She was extremely patient and willing to try several different options. She is not satisfied until you are satisfied with the end result. She even helped me work out the timing for my hair, my mom's hair, my mother-in-law's hair, and all of my bridesmaids.

She arrived early on the wedding day and kept us all on schedule. She made sure were taken care of the whole time. She looked again at the pictures we had taken at our trial and did my hair EXACTLY as I wanted. My hair had a level of glamour and sophistication that I didn't think was possible. She works quickly, efficiently, and flawlessly. We have received so many compliments on our hair. Our updos and curls stayed beautiful all night long.

Remonda is fabulous! She is so sweet and positive and an absolute pleasure to be around for the trial and more importantly on the wedding day. Remona did such an amazing job at figuring out what style I wanted during my hair trial. I could not believe how little time it took for her to give me the look I described to her! Remona was amazing. She did my hair, my mothers and my mother in laws hair for my engagement party, which was as big as a wedding. She was outstanding and did everything I asked for. I don't even know where to begin! Remona was just incredible. Aside from her remarkable talent, she was such a genuinely kind person. The day of the trial Remona did three different looks – all of them were amazing. It was so hard to choose but she told me I could just let her know the day of the wedding. I chose a half-up hair style on one of the hottest days in July and also had my ceremony outside. My hair stayed perfect throughout the entire wedding! I recently had my wedding and was recommended to go to Remona. Not only is she amazingly talented she has such a great personality and very kind. I am so thankful my wedding planner recommended me to go to her. I went to her for my first trial and at first we played with a few updos. We liked the hairstyle itself but did not love it for the type of wedding and dress style, so she requested I come back to see her for a second trial. She went out of her way to meet with me again and did not want me to walk away without loving it.

Remona is such a professional sweet person to work with. She is very warm and welcoming. She does a great job at giving you what you want while making sure it works with your whole look. She will give you the hair style you dreamed of. It was me and other 7 ladies who needed their hair done by 12 noon. She was there bright and early at 7am with her assistant in the morning ready to give us all the best hair styles. I will definitely use her again and refer everyone to her. Everyone complimented my hair and thought it was so pretty. Prior to the wedding we had a trial and she also made sure I drop off my extensions to prepare them for the wedding.

Remona was one of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding day. Aside from being an absolute delight to be around (she's so incredibly sweet!), she did an absolutely amazing job on not only my hair, but all 9 of my bridesmaids. Remona was an absolute angel! She arrived early on my wedding day. I had changed what I was looking for in the styling of my hair, and she recommended a couple modifications because of my hair type. The end result was truly amazing. My bridesmaids showed her what they were looking for and she did such spectacular work. She was very calming (good for a nervous bride), warm, and kind. I am the mother of the bride. Not only did we LOVE what Remona did with our hair (and we all know that when your hair looks great you feel beautiful) but she was calm and professional on a day that can easily spin out of control. A few days before the wedding, we heard about 40 mile an hour wind gusts. Since my daughter had decided to take pictures in her gown before the wedding, she was concerned that her hair would be destroyed before the ceremony even began. Remona re-arranged her schedule so she could come back and do a touch-up. My daughter looked absolutely gorgeous at her wedding and her hair was exactly what she had hoped for!! I highly recommend Remona - she was fabulous!

Remona and her assistant did my hair and the hair for my entire bridal party, including the very young flower girl, on my wedding day. She is so talented and very patient (especially since I wasn't sure what style I wanted and therefore needed two different hair trials before the wedding). I was incredibly blessed to have Remona as my hairdresser on the day of my wedding. Not only did my hair look better than I ever dreamed it could look, Remona was a pleasure to work with. For our trial, she traveled to my house, and was incredibly patient and helpful - she showed me multiple styles that she thought would look good, and actually did 3 of them for me to take pictures and decide. I have never met a hairdresser that knew exactly what I wanted, and could execute like she did. Normally when you say "romantic" up-do, you end up with a stiff prom-like bun with some random wisps of hair here and there, but not with Remona. Remona is gifted - she made every bridesmaid's hair look gorgeous and soft. I will recommend her 100% - actually I would say you're a fool if you don't hire her.

Remona did 8 bridesmaids, two flower girls, and my hair on the day of my wedding. She did a fantastic job! Everyone was so pleased with how their hair turned out. My hair did not move all night, the curls stayed in from our day church wedding until well after the reception. She is a pleasure to work with and I'm so glad I had her on my wedding day. Remona was helpful from our first meeting, and trials and did not leave our home until our daughter's veil was in place. I would use her again, even for a special day or night.

I was lucky enough to find Remona after reading about her on District Weddings. From the first moment I spoke to her on the phone, I knew that I had made a wonderful decision. Remona and I scheduled a date and time for a trial run. Now I normally enjoy getting my hair done, but this was on a whole different level. We went through three different styles and discussed which one or two would be best for the wedding. It was so much fun, and it was the first time that I could see things starting to come together. We remembered to take some pictures so that both Remona and I could review them at a later date and decide on the perfect style.

On the day of my wedding, the first call I recieved was from my mother...of course. But, the next call was from Remona! She was so bright and chipper and said she was on her way to my house. She wasn't just on time, she was early. As soon as she arrived, we got started. She brought another hair stylist with her to accomodate all the women in my wedding. I was lucky because I got to sit in my curls all day and watch everyone else get their hair styled. It was so much fun!

Once she finished with everyone else we went upstairs to look at my dress and review my trial styles. We picked style #3. I sat down in the chair and watched as Remona created the perfect hair style for my wedding day. I have never felt so beautiful. She really created something that was personal and perfect for me. She even managed to hide all the little frizzies around my head :) Everyone was finished with time to spare, and all 11 women had completely different hair styles that looked amazing.

We first meet Remona in February 2010 in the midst of all the snow, to try her for my daughters hair for her wedding day. Needless to say we never had to try anyone else. She was wonderful, her styles are classey and modern. Extremely easy person to work with, friendly and professional. She also made my daughter a beautiful hair clip since she had a simple veil. We differently recommend her to anyone who needs this service and would use her again without doubt.

Remona was an absolute joy to work with. I had reservations at first about the cost (as I am accustomed to $30 haircuts and rarely if ever color my hair). But Remona was worth every penny and more. I got married in a rural, fairly remote setting, and Remona traveled an hour or more to provide onsite service to my bridesmaids and me. She arrived promptly on time and ready to go. Aside from her professionalism - and she is a true pro - she quickly blended in with my group, was chatty and personable, and in no time was "one of the girls." My bridesmaids were all thrilled with their hairstyles. Each of them was unique and elegant. And I can honestly say that my hair has never looked better than on my wedding day. It was even better than I imagined. I have very straight, fine hair, but she transformed it into a textured, romantic low updo that I adored. When I look at pictures, I can hardly believe it's my own hair! It almost looks like she added extensions - but she didn't. It was all due to her own little brand of magic.

Remona was an absolute dream to work with and her work is STUNNING!! Remona did my hair, my moms, and three girls in the bridal party. As a DC wedding planner, I had the pick of vendors when it comes to who would do my hair on my own wedding day. Without a second thought, I chose Remona.

Before the wedding, we did a trial. I thought it looked nice after the first trial. Remona wanted more practice. She took it down and did it again. And again. She wanted my hair to be perfect. She wanted me to be thrilled with it.

Most wedding hair stylists have a three-step process for bridal hair -- tease, pin, curl. As a result, you have hair that looks great 15 minutes after it's done, but by the end of the night, the curl has fallen and it doesn't look so great.

Remona reverses this process. She curls first. Then she pins the curls up (temporarily) so they can "set." Then, after the hair has cooled and set, she works her magic with the style. The result? Hair that keeps its volume, holds its curl, and looks FABULOUS all night long.

Remona takes the extra step to make sure the style is perfect. She invests the extra time (even practicing at home on her hair models to make sure she can do exactly what you're looking for on your big day). She cares. And she has AMAZING taste.

On my wedding day, I received the usual round of compliments on my dress. BUT, I received at least TWICE as many compliments on my hair. Seriously. I felt like a celebrity. I owed it all to Remona. She's truly the most talented bridal hair stylist I've ever met.

I had just recently moved to Reston a few months before my wedding and was in a panic about trying someone new to cut my hair let alone do it for my wedding. But when I met Remona all my fears were put to rest. She totally understood my style and unlike everyone else when I said I wanted to wear my hair down at my wedding in June she said of course rather than call me crazy for taking such a risk. I have naturally curly hair that does not like humidity but she assured me it would all work out. She was super easy to talk to and very responsive over email which made my life so much easier. She was even able to do a trial for my mom and sister who wanted something totally different from me but she pulled it off and the biggest compliment I can give is that they both loved what she did and that says a lot since they are super particular about their hair. I have to admit just to be sure I got a second trial at another DC salon and needless to say there was no comparison. What Remona does is very stylish and modern rather than prom-like which is what I was looking for.
The day of the wedding she arrived on time and set up shop in my hotel room and kept the atmosphere super calm which was so nice. My hair turned out amazing and it just got better as the night wore on. Another sign Remona did an amazing job, my husband was so excited I looked my me. He has seen me with formal updo before and said I looked great but not like me so when he saw me that day he was so excited that I looked like me and I did.
