Flawless Faces

Makeup was the one thing that scared me the most, above any other vendor that I hired. I usually do my own makeup. In fact, I’m the girl that does all of my girlfriends’ makeup too when we go out...so it was hard for me to let go on this day and let someone else do it...especially because not ONCE have I ever had someone do my makeup in such a way that I liked it as well as I did it myself. Nobody ever seemed to “get it.” So why did I decide to hire one at all? I figured that although I do my makeup well for everyday, I didn’t know a thing about how my makeup needed to look for photographs. After probably 9 different makeovers in my life, I thought perhaps I was just too critical. Not so...and I knew that after I met Carina. I was so scared to go look in the mirror when she said “Okay, you can go look now and then you can just let me know what we need to change.” I peered into the mirror with dread....and almost cried when I saw that it was perfect! I didn’t want to change even one thing...and that has NEVER happened to me. The day of the wedding was even better than the trial...she made me, my mom, and my cousin all look beautiful. She’s one amazing artist and I feel lucky that I found her. In addition to being a great artist, she is really sweet and down to earth, and I was happy to see her on my wedding day :)

Gorgeous hair and makeup. Tina and Rachel from Flawless Faces Inc. are the bomb. They made me look and feel the way a bride should, GORGEOUS. The way the models look on their website is the way they can make you look. Not to mention these girls are sooo fun to be around. Carina was awesome! I had heard so many great things about her that I had to book her for my wedding. She arrived early and did myself and 5 others and everyone loved their make-up. I couldn't have been happier with my make-up and love how the pictures came out. I was a little hesitant about the fake eyelashes but they were amazing and looked so great in the pictures. My make-up stayed all night and I was thrilled that I didn't need someone to touch me up. I HIGHLY recommend Carina, she has lots of experience and it definitely shows!

I think Carina is a MUST when booking make up for your wedding. She is absolutely amazing and made all of my bridal party look and feel great on the big day. I have used her for other events in the last year and every time think it is worth every penny. I STRONGLY suggest you book with Carina! I orginally booked with another vendor and her services did not compare to those of Flawless Faces. My make up looked the same at 1am in the morning on my wedding day as it did at 10am when she applied! AMAZING!!!

Carina arrived on time, ready to go, and did a stellar job of making my mom, my girlfriend, and me look like rock stars. My makeup held through the night completely and I had no issues with my false eyelashes coming off until I wanted them to which with other makeup artists this has been a problem (however my mom and friend both had a little problem with them poking/sliding which resulted in their eyes watering). I opted to go away from the traditional, natural looking bride approach and went with what we had pretty much used for my boudoir pictures (also done with her) and she was able to accommodate my request with ease.

One of the gift to my girls was having their make-up done at the wedding. Carina was so great. She's down to earth and outgoing. I never felt uncomfortable with her. She just seems like another friend. She's so sweet and I've never felt prettier or have seen my girls look more beautiful. I have never liked doing make-up because I felt more like a clown than cute! Carina, however, made me look amazing! I highly recommend her. She also did my make-up for our engagement pictures....I might have to see her again before my 10 year reunion!

Carina is simply amazing! She did my boudior makeup (twice, for both shoots) and my makeup for our engagement shoot. I can't tell you how fabulous she is, what an excellent job she did. She re-introduced me to false lashes after a horrible experience I had in a friends wedding, so you can say, she changed my life :) haha.

Carina is an expert with makeup application and such a nice and warm person.

I wish I could express just how thankful I am that I hired Carina to do my makeup. I was thinking of doing something crazy like putting makeup on myself, but Carina was, of course, so much better. She spent a lot of time on me during my trial, listening to suggestions, and asking clarifying questions to make sure that I got what I wanted. My makeup on the day of the wedding was even better! The funny thing? She used the exact same lipstick and gloss that I always have in my purse! She made my mom look amazing as well, and our makeup did not budge all day. Carina does what she is hired to do, and she does it well. Conversations with her are also a form of entertainment! :)

My girls and I looked amazing on my wedding day. I have never felt so beautiful in my life and I've never seen my bridesmaids look so good. My girls kept asking me where I found her because she's soo good! She did my mother's make-up. WOW! My mom was was stunning and glowing. Carina even travels and was early. She's a true pro. Book with Carina...you won't regret it!

I just booked her for my wedding! I'm super excited. She has been given so many recommendations on the OC boards.

Carina is awesome! Look no further if you want to be confident about looking gorgeous. I was scared of the fake lashes at first (i know, what was i thinking), but she was right, and I couldnt be happier with how I looked that day.

Carina is the most talented makeup artist I know! When she's done with your makeup, you will feel absolutely sexy and beautiful. Carina did my Engagement and Wedding pictures and I couldn't have been happier.

One half of my engagement photo shoot took place in the ocean and after an hour of getting beat down by the waves, and rubbing my eyes, my makeup still looked flawless. I couldn't believe it! I was expecting my eyelashes to have fallen off, or for my eye liner to rub, but nope! It stayed put the entire shoot!

As for the wedding, I cried several streams of happy tears, and yet my makeup still looked beautiful. Once my tears dried up, no one could tell that I was crying. I can't stress how important that is since all eyes are on you. :)

Carina is amazing and extremely talented. I am so happy I met her and I would highly recommend her for anyone that wants to look their best!

Carina, I love you. I had a great experience with Flawless faces. My makeup and hair turned out beautifully and I didn't have to retouch it at all. I had such a good experience I used them again for another function after the wedding. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carina to anyone seeking a makeup artist. She's super nice and will listen to any suggestions you have. I will use her again in the future, for any important events I may have.

I really dragged my feet when it came to scheduling my wedding makeup. I was so petrified that I would end up looking like a clown on my wedding day that one of my girlfriends just booked me with Flawless Faces. It was truly of the best decisions of the entire wedding planning! Carina scheduled me with Cara, who came out to the DoubleTree Hotel in Orange where my wedding was held. She was simply amazing with applying my makeup and I can't express how pleased I was when she was done. I really didn't know what kind of look I was looking for since I hardly ever wear makeup, but she asked me some key questions and came up with a look that was just fabulous yet very comfortable. She was also very fun to work with and added to the many pleasures of my wedding day. She gave me tips on how to keep up the look through the evening and was so patient with the million phone calls I had to field while she was trying to work. I cannot recommend Flawless Faces enough!

I found Carina through Jim Kennedy Photographers. While Carina didn't do my day of makeup she need my engagement and boudier pictures and they are breathtaking! She makes it a fun, girly experience and makes you feel great leaving her shop.

Jo did my make-up and Michelle did my hair and I could not have been happier during my trial and on the day-of!!! Both kept asking me if I was okay with their work at both occasions. They listened to my opinions and wanted to make sure I was happy! They were both prompt to my house and we finished on time! They did two other bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and my mom! They were fantastic!!! Everyone raved about how good we looked and the make-up and hair lasted from 8am to 8pm! We also did pictures outside in the wind from 11-1:30pm and I still felt beautiful at 3pm for my ceremony start! I barely had to touch up my lipstick and my hair stayed which was amazing!! Great work girls!! Will use you again!!

I could not have been happier with the way my hair and makeup turned out, along with my 8 briedesmaids and my mom!Flawless faces came ot us and set up in our hotel room. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous! The makeup was so perfect, it was not over done, but flawless and beautiful. My makeup and my girls and moms makeup lasted all day even through all of the tears! I was so very happy with Flawless faces and would 100% recommend their services for anyone!

Flawless Faces was awesome! I got airbrushed makeup, as did all of my bridesmaids, and it turned out gorgeous. Molly is fantastic. You really can't beat their prices too, you definitely get more than you pay for.

Molly did my make-up (air-brushing) for both my engagement pictures and my wedding. I don't really wear that much make-up and she did an amazing job of making me look like a prettier version of myself. My make-up stayed through the entire night. (And I was sweating up a storm on the dance floor!) Everyone in my bridal party was thrilled with her work!

After looking on line thru several websites, I finally came across Flawless Faces and their amazing work. I scheduled my appt. for the hair and make up preview with Kelly and I LOVED it so I booked her for my wedding. Kelly showed up early to my wedding site and completed my bridesmaids and mother in law's hair/make-up and everyone else soon fell in love with her work too. We all could not stop raving about how sweet Kelly was and how great she was at what she does. I have never felt more beautiful as I did on my wedding! My makeup and hair lasted all night through pictures and some serious dancing. I highly recommend Flawless Faces and hope to use them again for any of my makeup or hair needs!! She is professional, punctual and does amazing work! My makeup lasted all night and my BMs looked beautiful and amazing as well.

Carina is the BEST makeup artist ever! I think I have a weird face or something because whenever I get my makeup done, it looks good in person but really weird in pictures. Carina is the only person that can make me look beautiful in person and in pictures! She did my makeup for my bridal shower and for my wedding and I will have her do my makeup for every event from now on. She also did my bridesmaids, mom, and grandma for the wedding. She got all of us done in time and we were even done a little early. Rachel did our hair and she is also AMAZING! I loved having both Carina and Rachel because they both are super sweet and it felt like they were one of the girls hanging out, but they are also super professional too! Love them!!

Carina is the best! She was very professional, made me look and feel beautiful, and provided a signed contract of her services. The last part surprised me because so many of the other makeup artists I interviewed did not provide one. They actually scoffed at my requirement of a signed contract, as if I should just trust they'd show up and I shouldn't worry about something so petty. On the day of my wedding, Carina called on her way to the venue and arrived about 15 minutes early (loved that!). She was extremely efficient and personable and came prepared with her own chair, etc. I loved the way she applied my makeup; she really listened to me and wanted to give me the exact look I was going for in terms of color and intensity. My bridesmaids and the Moms looked so fabulous with their makeup--we really loved how everyone looked in the pictures! I highly recommend Carina and Flawless Faces!

I loved working with Carina at Flawless Faces. She did my make-up for our engagement pictures as well as for my wedding day. She was able to create two separate looks for me that looked great in person and on camera. The Flawless Faces studio was across the street from our wedding venue in Costa Mesa so it was conveniently located. My maid of honor and I enjoyed our time with Carina in her uber-cute studio. I was a little stressed because we arrived late to the appointment but Carina had us finished and out the door with time to spare. She was even kind enough to give me a little to-go container with the lipstick and gloss she used on me along with an applicator so I could reapply throughout the evening. Carina is so talented and really makes you look like the princess you deserve to be on your wedding day!

Loved Flawless Faces! Tiffany did my makeup and Kelly did my hair.. they were both amazing! I didn't want my make up too caked on that it barely looked like me and Tiffany was able to work her magic with make up that somehow was able to stay on all night (even after all the crying at the ceremony!). Kelly was so much fun. She's so cute and did a great job working with my clip-in hair extensions and gave me the Kim Kardashian look I was going for. The Flawless Faces salon is so cute and girly too. I loved it and want to go back for a facial!

Flawless Faces was recommended to us by our venue coordinator and we were able to have Carina as our make-up artist. She came to our house with a hairstylist and did all of the bridesmaids and myself. Everyone was happy, which doesn't happen very often. The preview for my hair and make-up was fun and I was confident that I would look great on my wedding day and I was not disappointed.

I met with Carina at my makeup trial a few months before the wedding after having a lackluster trial with another company. Carina was really nice and was able to give me a look that I was expecting without me having to explain too much. At first that made me nervous because I didn’t think she had really studied the pictures I brought in. After what happened with the other company, I ended up finding more pictures and printed several collages and pictures of myself with self-applied regular day makeup and special occasion makeup so I wouldn’t end up with further costly misunderstandings. Carina quickly leafed through the pictures of myself, ONE page (out of 6) of my inspiration pictures, asked about my wedding colors (purple and fuchsia) and got to work. I felt like I had just got there, when she had already finished one eye. Once I saw it, I knew that I had nothing to worry about and that she “got me”. She worked fast and made me look amazing. I was so happy that I found someone that “got it”. I also met with Michelle during the trial so we could go over my hairstyle. Without much direction, she was able to give me a great and youthful style that felt very “me” but still had some “wedding day elegance” to it. I booked them on the spot.

Unfortunately, a few months closer to the wedding, I found out that Carina wasn’t going to be able to provide makeup services for me after all (Her other commitment for the day added services making it impossible for her to be at two places at once). I was really disappointed because I truly loved what she did for me at the trial, but Carina offered me a free trial with Cara so that she could try to re-create the look that Carina provided for me at my first trial. Cara was really sweet and took her time and was really good about looking at notes and pictures from the first trial. She was able to give me the glamorous eyes that I like and was really pleasant to be around. A little after the trial, I noticed that my eye makeup didn't stay on as long as at my first trial and the color started to fade faster. I e-mailed them about that and they said they would work on that for the wedding day.

They were really great about taking direction, which I appreciated because you really want to have an honest and open relationship with the people that are working with you and the Flawless staff definitely did not want me to feel anything less than flawless when I left their makeup chairs.

On the wedding day, Cara and Michelle were set up bright and early in the morning and ready to get to work. I was so tired, but they seemed to be in good spirits and ready to get started. Michelle turned my tangled bed hair into a sleek bridal hairdo in less than an hour. She was so patient and so tender with my tresses that it was lulling me back to sleep LOL Cara took her time on my makeup and it looked fantastic! I think it even looked better than at my first trial and I was so grateful that she took the notes from our trial together and worked on all the details so that I could leave the makeup chair 100% satisfied. She was so great about going over areas that I felt needed more coverage and kept going over things so that she could make sure that she did everything she could to make me look flawless.

Both Cara and Michelle made my bridal party look amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them look better. I was especially impressed with my sister’s hair and makeup. They totally transformed her from a normal pretty girl into a glamorous and gorgeous young lady and our entire family couldn’t stop commenting on her. I was so proud of how she looked and I thank Cara and Michelle for taking the extra time to help us look our very best.

I do have to make note that the makeup on 2 of the bridesmaids didn’t last as long as they hoped, so I suggest that future brides warn their bridesmaids to bring their own touch up kit or their own trusted brand of foundation to ward off any potential makeup meltdowns.

Everyone looked terrific though so I would definitely recommend Flawless Faces and can’t wait for another event in their neck of the woods so I can call on them for more hair and makeup services.

Cara from Flawless Faces did all the makeup for my wedding and it was fantastic. All my girls looked so beautiful and my makeup was perfect as well! All of the makeup lasted all night, even the false eyelashes! Cara is very friendly and professional. She kept us all on right on time and was there to calm my nerves. Cara also did my makeup for our engagement photo shoot and it was gorgeous. The pictures were amazing and my husband asked if I could do my makeup like that everyday because it was so beautiful :)

I learned about Flawless Faces through my best friend who used them for her wedding. I was the MoH for her wedding; this was the first time getting my makeup done. I loved that it stayed on the whole time, tears or no tears. Fast forward 4 years and I hired them for my Engagement session makeup and the pictures were amazing! They knew exactly what to do to make me look beautiful in my pictures. For my wedding I used Kelly, and even though I was very happy with their work, I knew what to expect at that point. Well the day of the wedding, I have to say that Kelly exceeded my expectations by far. She got me! She knew exactly right to the very last detail what would look great on me and what I wanted to 'say' with my makeup. She was awesome! I had to send my thank you's to Flawless Faces because I was so grateful for my makeup that day. Even after 10hrs I have to say my make up looked great. I don’t know what they do or how they do it, but they sure know what it takes to get that look for the camera!

The girls of Flawless Faces made me and my girls look just that on my wedding day, flawless! Tina did my makeup, and that of my maids and the moms, and she did a beautiful job. Rachael did our hair, and I cannot say enough great things about her. My husband LOVED it, and I'm a picky hair person and Rachael worked with me to get it just how I wanted it and it looked great and held up all night! The girls are also cool and fun to work with. I would totally recommend them to another bride!The only negative I have is that when I booked and after I paid a deposit, Carina called and realized she had already booked a wedding for herself that day. She was super flexible and gave me a complimentary trial with Tina, but since I had already booked with Carina for makeup and Racheal for hair, I felt a little bit of pressure to remain booked (I mean, I wanted to book both services together if possible). It ended up working out, so it was fine in the long run. The only other thing is that I had to communicate directly with Carina instead of the girls who were working with me the day of, and when our day of schedule changed a little a couple of weeks before the wedding, I communicated that to Carina and got a revised schedule for the day of. Either that was not communicated to the girls who were actually working on me, or there was some other miscommunication between them, because I was ready to go at 9 when I was told they would arrive, and they still believed the start time was 10. While we were all ready in time, not having that extra stress (not to mention a little extra sleep or time in the morning) would have been nice. I think they are so popular and busy that maybe something wasn't communicated clearly, and I would have felt better if I could have been in direct communication with Tina and Rachael directly instead of going through Carina, since she does her own weddings and also runs the business. But like I said, it all worked out and the girls made me look great! It was a very minor issue in an otherwise wonderful experience with them. I would definitely recommend them and work with them again in the future!!!

Carina and Michelle did such amazing work the day of my wedding - everyone in the party, as well as the mom, looked outstanding! I really loved my hair. I was a bit nervous about it because I couldn't quite communicate what I wanted, but Michelle was great and styled it perfectly!

Carina and Michelle did a wonderful job on my girls' and my hair and makeup. My bridesmaids who chose not to have their hair and makeup done were very disappointed with their choice after seeing how gorgeous the rest of us looked. The only problem I had with the whole experience working with Carina was that within 2 weeks of the wedding it became very hard to get a hold of her. I tried multiple ways, and in the end, 3 days before the wedding I had to send a friend to the shop to see if someone there could tell her to call me or email me back. She called immediately, and my question was quickly sorted out. In the end, it all worked out, but I was freaking out, to say the least.

The team at flawless faces is amazing. I had a great experience and they were very easy to work with. I had Tina do my make up for my wedding and she did such a fantastic job! We recently got the professional photos and the make up on everyone turned out absolutely gorgeous.

Carina and her team are UH-MAZING!!!!! Al of their brides look so naturally beautiful! She really makes them look like their best possible version of themselves, rather than the piled on make up look! They are definitely my go to girls!
