If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This business should be closed down for their lack of honesty, reliability and fraudulent actions. I was having the hardest time trying to decide between 2 different Casablanca dresses. I liked the top of one dress and the bottom of another dress. With that being said, Jen the sales associate (*side note - please don't buy her empty words and fake kindness) assured me that Casablanca Bridal could customize any dress and would definitely be able to combine the 2 dresses to make "THE PERFECT DRESS." After seeing the two dresses together (we arranged them on the floor to get an idea of what the final product would look like) I had that wonderful "this is the dress" moment! I agreed to pay upfront for the more expensive of the 2 dresses and pay an additional fee for all the customizations once the dress was in. I had tried on both sample dresses, which were size 14, and neither fit. After being measured I tried on a 16 and it fit perfectly! Jen, however, wanted me to order an 18 and when I disagreed she patted me on the back and told me to lose 15lbs before the dress arrived (WONDERFUL way to speak to your paying customers). With the nasty comment aside I went ahead and ordered the beautiful custom, size 16, dress! I was told the dress would arrive December 2nd. I was a little nervous with my wedding being on January 28th and the holidays right in between, so I offered to pay extra for it to be rushed. Jen assured me that it wasn't necessary and they would definitely have it by December 2nd. Being naive, I ate up every word that this sales associate had to say.Let's cut to December 22nd, still no dress, numerous calls into the store and very frustrated. THE REVIEWS BELOW ARE TRUE - they do not answer certain calls if they begin to recognize your number (I eventually saw this happen while I was in the store) and if you do finally speak with someone they say they can not help you and you will need to speak with the owner Jane (quite possibly the worst person in the wedding industry EVER). FINALLY, on December 23rd I received a call from Jane who told me my dress would be arriving the following Wednesday (December 28 - 26 days later than I was promised).Now here comes the good part! I go and pick up the dress and it is COMPLETELY wrong. I will start with the fact that the dress itself is not custom made, it is all completely 1 style (not the 2 styles combined). Okay so if getting the wrong dress isn't bad enough, the dress is filthy dirty at the bottom (unless they are now making brown colored lace trim), the satin on the top is snagged and pulled with the stitching literally falling out and there is make-up on the inside and sweat marks on the outside. For the price I paid, I was at least hoping for a clean dress! If that wasn't bad enough, the dress itself zipped but was very VERY tight. Now, you may be thinking I gained weight...BUT funny enough I took Jens advice and lost 15lbs and then some... 16.4lbs total to be exact So one might ask how a dress fits you when you are 16.4lbs heavier and then barely fits when you 16.4lbs lighter? Well the answer is plain and simple; Bridal Mansion literally CUT a size 16 tag out of another dress and GLUED it into the dress they gave me (you would think they would try and do a better job of hiding their handy work). By the way, the dress size that they cut out of this dress was a size 14. YEP you guessed it! They packaged up the sample dress I tried on back in July and tried to play it off like it was a custom dress I ordered FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! When this was brought to their attention all the store did was offer to have their seamstress put together THE OTHER size 14 sample dress with the current sample dress I had and STILL charge me for it. For all you ladies out there that think that this could not happen to you, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take this seriously. I ignored the reviews and I was naive and thought people that complained were just fussy and could not be pleased, but I promise you this is not the case. This company has done this before and they have shown me that they are not afraid to do this again. This has been a total nightmare and not one that I wanted to have 24 days before my wedding.




If I could give this store 0 stars I would. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses here in January and was told they might not be in on time for my July 9 wedding. I told both Jane, the owner, and the girl who handled the order that I was completely willing to pay for rush shipping, although I was pretty concerned that a bridesmaid dress order would take over 6 months. Never the less I was willing to pay an extra $25 for each of my 6 bridesmaids so I could have peace of mind. Well, Jane, the owner, assured me once the order was placed that I wouldn't need to pay for rush shipping, that the dresses would certainly be in by mid to late May. I was confused regarding the conflicting opinions, but thought surely the owner would know best. After all, she had been in the business and I felt I needed to not be so controlling and just let it go. Around the last week of May, when I hadn't heard anything from Bridal Mansion, I tried to call the store to see what the status of our order was. The same girl who said I should do rush shipping answered my call and told me that the estimated ship date was June 17 and that shipping would take 10-12 business days. This would have put the dresses arriving at the latest by a week before my wedding. With 2 bridesmaids postpartum, one pregnant and 2 out of town, I was extremely concerned with the tardiness of the arrival of our dresses. I expressed to Jane my problem with the situation and she basically laughed it off. She completely dismissed my concerns, but promised me she would try to work something out so the dresses would be in by June 10th. When the dresses didn't arrive then, I think she started to panic. Six dresses arrived 8 days later, however 2 of the 6 dresses were wrong sizes. Jane and her staff tried to lie their way out of the problem saying that the girls ordered those sizes. Luckily, my bridesmaids all saved their receipts. It was during this mess that I called, Jane answered, I asked to speak to Jane, and she asked who was calling, when I told her, she said, "hold on one second, let me get her." It was this kind of ridiculous, immature, and unorganized kind of behavior that makes me think someone of her nature should not be in the wedding business. I would strongly recommend to stay away from Bridal Mansion of Lisle. The owner is irresponsible and horrible to work with. Yes, we received our dresses and I suppose I could say all is well that ends well, but during a highly stressful time of planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and order dresses from a shop that is organized, reliable - not Bridal Mansion.

I had a mostly positive experience there. At my first fitting, I felt pretty rushed - I had the last appointment of the day, and I understand that they wanted to close, but I had to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time to be helped, so I felt that I should be allowed 15 extra minutes at the end.They have a pretty good dress selection – enough to have choices, but not too many to be overwhelmed. I LOVED my dress! And their prices are pretty good.My delivery date kept getting pushed back – which I understand is not entirely their fault, but frustrating nonetheless.When I got the dress, there was a tiny snag which couldn’t be fixed and the dress was too small and too short. Fortunately, their alterations lady (Ruth) was amazing, and made the dress perfect – if it wasn’t for Ruth, I would have been really upset.Overall, I would recommend them, but don't expect perfection.

Bridal Manson was great! I happened to be walking near the shop with my mom and we just wanted to go in and look and make an appt for another day. When we walked in the lady said she had some time in between appts and would let me try some stuff on. She listened to what I wanted and nailed it on the first dress! The staff was always wonderful and nice. The only mishap I had was when my veil was supposed to come in (which are made by a contracted vendor) it was not ready. I was picking it up for my hair trial and instead of just saying sorry they actually let me borrow the veil from the store to take for my hair trial. They were more than accommodating and would recommend them to anyone.

I shopped a few places for my wedding dress. The service received from Margie and Jane at the Bridal Mansion (& Ruth my seamstress) was top notch! The quality of dresses was wonderful, the selection of dresses was not overwhelming yet enough to pick from and the prices were very competitive.Margie listened to me and what I liked/didn't like about different dresses. She pulled certain styles I wanted to try and then found other dresses she thought I'd like based on my reactions/comments. I was shopping with my parents, teenage daughter and maid of honor - Margie and Jane listened and attended to each of them.I did call once, left a message a message and didin't hear back. It wasn't anything urgent - a more timely call back would have been appreciated. That's my only negative!I also bought my veil from Bridal Mansioni and when I went for my final dress fitting, I hated my veil. It was pretty, but just not me. Margie worked with me and really wanted me to be able to wear a veil I liked. We discussed the look I thought might fit my personality better and she had a new veil for me that was just perfect the day I picked up my dress.I appreiciated the professional opinions Margie had - I certainly didn't look great in everything and she was tactfully honest about that - I like that. I don't need to hear "you look beautiful" in everything - that's way too pushy salesperson for me.

I made an appointment to bring in my bridesmaids to try on dresses here and I have never been treated so poorly in my life. We came in and no one even acknowledged us for about 10 minutes and when they did, the first thing she said was "What do you want?" Even after I told her that we were there for an appointment, she was still unhelpful. She had to clean out a room and only gave us one room to try on dresses in even though there was NO ONE in the shop besides us. The woman kept going off to the back and working on something - she never once tried to help. We kept looking around for another 5-10 minutes until I finally decided to leave. As I was walking out the door, she then said "You're done already?" to which I replied "Oh yes, we are done." She then threw up her hands and turned around. The entire time I was there, I felt like an inconvience. Don't even bother to waste your time here - never seen someone treat anyone this poorly!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Bridal Mansion of Lisle. The costs are very attractive, but then again as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The staff is extremely nice but there is a very strong sense that the store is ran in disorganized chaos. I am surprised that I had a dress at all to wear on my wedding. Most times I was there I could overhear the store owner on the phone with someone apologizing for one thing or another. At one point in time, that person on the phone was me. I am sure it will be you, too.I ordered my dress back October with an arrival date in early February. It did not arrive until the middle of March! I understand that the store has no control over a manufacturer in China, but what got me was the fact that they would not return my calls when I was checking on the status. I had to call at least 2-3 times until the owner was actually in the store and could not dodge another call. Once the dress finally arrived, alterations were completed by an independent seamstress who was quick and efficient, however, for almost each appointment, it appeared that the store staff failed to hold an open room for her to complete alterations. The day I picked up my dress it appeared that someone had cut off the hooks added into the dress for the bustle during the final press. They called the seamstress and luckily she made a special trip into the store to repair it right then and there. The owner's response to me was "Oops, sorry" and she laughed as she walked away. Even one of the staff members appeared to be shocked with her response, too. Don't get me wrong, the people who work there are extremely nice, including the owner, but the lack of organization and level of overall professionalism was shocking. This is a small time, independently owned and operated store that truly needs to step it up.

I have to say, first, is that I am the mother of the bride. We are at the very beginning stages of wedding planning and as far as the Bridal Mansion goes, I was highly impressed. I first called for a specific dress and they assisted me over the phone with the nicest associate. (No holding or voicemails) Then on Tuesday of this week we had our appointment. My daughter, was nervous, and our bridal consultant Margie was fantastic. Whe was knowledgeable, helpful, and made us feel at home. She immediately knew what my daughter was looking for and after about 5 dresses she found the most beautiful dress. I would love to thank Margie and the bridal mansion for making this experience for us exactly what we dreamed of. We are going to order the bridemaids gowns there as well, by doing so we were offered the bridal gown at a discount. The variety at this boutique is extensive for the bride as well as the as for the bridemaids. The consultant offered a wide variety of options and knowledge to assist us in our journey!! I found the dress of my dreams in less than an hour. I only tried on 7 dresses before finding the one for me - and for a LOT less than we were planning on spending. I can't even tell you how many compliments I got on the day of my wedding because of the dress! I am so happy we chose the Bridal Mansion!




If I could give the Bridal Mansion ZERO stars, I would. Don't get me wrong, the first few times I went in to look for a wedding gown, the sales women (Sharon & Jane) were fabulous. They were very patient and helped me pick the perfect dress. Once I placed the order and gave them the deposit, it all went downhill. Like one of the other reviewers stated, when I went in with my five bridesmaids to try on dresses, they were incredibly rude. They gave us one room even though we made an appointment and treated us like we were in the way and an inconvenience. Margie especially was extremely rude to all of us. She is snippy and truly unprofessional. I refused to work with her after this experience. Once my dress finally arrived, it was way too big and too short. I was blamed for not telling Margie (the "professional" that measured me) that I needed extra length. Did she not see that I am 5'8", marrying a 6'6" man, and planning on wearing heels? Somehow it was my fault that extra length was not ordered, as I was told by even the owner of the store. They told me that it would have been an extra $80 (gasp!). Really? I already spent over $1000 so what's another $80 if it means that I can wear heels and not look ridiculous in a too short dress. I could go on and on. In the end, it all worked out only because of the woman that does alterations (Ruth). She somehow made the dress work after countless hours of work and over $300 out of my pocket for alterations. Bottom line is that I would not recommend this bridal store to my worst enemy.

This is the perfect bridal shop. I found the dress of my dreams here and the prices are outstanding. I had a $5,000 dollar dress budget and ended up spending $1000! And again, this for the dress of my dreams. I went all around Chicago and the suburbs and this was the place. The women here really know their stuff.

I had a recent negative experience at this store. The consultant didn't seem to want to help me. The store is tiny and the dresses are very difficult to view as the racks are so full. I thought by telling the consultant several times exactly what I wanted it would make it easier for her to help pick a few dresses out for me. She wanted nothing to do it. I have no idea why -- maybe it was because I told her what my budget was which was around $700. I wouldn't waste my time visiting this store. It's dirty too - there were spiders crawling in two of the gown bags.
Check out David's Bridal in Schaumburg -- much better selection and a friendly environment!

I found my dress in less than an hour at the Bridal Mansion in Lisle, it was my dream dress, it cost right around what I wanted to spend and I bought it off the rack and their alterations lady altered it in less than a week. It was great! :)

I am very happy with the dress I selected from Bridal Mansion, but would recommend to allow plenty of time when ordering a dress with them. I was originally told it would take 3-4 months for my dress to arrive, but it took almost 9 months to arrive. Luckily, I had purchased it far in advance but it could have been a disaster if I had waited any longer. The ladies who work at the Bridal Mansion are pleasant to work with, but be prepared to wait for personal help if visiting on the weekend.

Everyone at the Bridal Mansion was so friendly and helpful. I came back on my third visit expecting to decide on one dress I had tried on at a previous appointment when Sharon told me she had a new dress that had just come in that day she wanted me to try on. That was the dress. It was so beautiful and so perfect for me. The staff was also very accomodating with my bridesmaids and my mother. It was also very nice that they recommended two wonderful seamstresses who would meet with us at the store for alterations. I highly recommend the Bridal Mansion. The store may not be huge, but the service is totally worth it! And let me tell you, they definetly have a wonderful selection packed into that store!

Bridal Mansion has a GREAT selection of dresses for a great price...including designer bridal gowns you can't find at Davids or House of Brides! The staff is great. We had an issue with one of the bridesmaids dresses, and they worked it out for us no problem! highly recommended! They just dont have great hours as some other places.

A great shop with excellent personal service. Margie was my saleswoman, and was fantastic. I didn't know what I was looking for when I came in - I just knew a couple of styles that I definitely DIDN'T want. Margie let me peruse the hundreds of dresses at my leisure and pull whatever I wanted off the racks. After two dresses we had found THE ONE, but they had to have it special-ordered. I debated and considered and reconsidered for several weeks, coming back several times to try on the dress before ordering it. The entire staff was always patient and very kind. Price wasn't the lowest on the market, but they did negotiate a bit when I mentioned that the sticker price was out of my budget, and we were able to agree on a price within my range. Alterations were quick and easy - Ruth is extremely skilled at sewing, and created the most beautiful over-bustle for me. Alterations are $$, but they are worth it; fast and accurate. The dress fit like a glove and looked beautiful.

I must have went to every bridal shop in the Chicagoland area. Most places I went to were very nice. The staff was usually helpful, friendly and not pushy. And the Bridal Mansion was no exception. The bottom line is they had THE dress. The store itself is very small- no mansion at all. But the women working were very nice and worked hard to find the dress for me based on some of my criteria. Everything I ordered from them came in exactly when they said it would. I have no complaints about this place and would recommend other people check it out if looking for the perfect dress.




I got my gown from Bridal Mansion in Lisle. I’m not kidding I think I hit up every salon in the Chicago area,it took me 6 months to find my gown. Bridal Mansion is a very intimate salon- they have a small staff which provided a very personal experience. The consultant, Sharon, was selecting gowns for me and picked out a couple of lace gowns. I really didn’t think I was going to like it- but when I tried it on, I loved it—and I loved Sharon. A lot of the places I went to didn’t really listen to what I was saying, but I felt that Sharon really listened to what I said. She was knowledgeable about flattering my figure and had an eye for selecting gowns that fit my taste. My gown was simple, but classic. She was so helpful. We tried to do our bridesmaid’s gowns with Bridal Mansion, but I needed a specific color that they didn’t offer. Sharon was so nice to refer me to another salon that could help me!

The shop is a bit crowded, and the sales people are a bit pushy, but in the end they found the perfect gown for me and were very accomodating. Excellent price for the services, and they threw in the veil for free! The alterations seamstress they recommended also did a great job.

the bridal mansion is wonderful! From my first appointment, to the final fitting, I always felt that my time there was important. They are an appointment only place, so I had a consultant with me in the fitting room, helping me get dressed so that my mother could relax and get a great first impression of each dress. Nancy listened to all of my likes and dislikes and helped pick out dresses that fit that description. In addition to purchasing my bridal gown, I also purchased the bridesmaid dresses here. 3 of my 4 bridesmaids were able to purchase their gowns, and the bridal mansion was very flexible in allowing me to pre-pick tops (I had two piece dresses and each girl picked her own top), and only show the girls those tops. (My maid of honor lives in SC so she got her dress at a shop there that handled the same line). They even did all the alterations CHEAPLY! ($200 for the bridal gown, less that $100 for most of the dresses.) It was an overall fantastic experience! The price below is for my dress and alterations and 3 bridesmaid dresses and alterations.

They are TERRIBLE! DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS HERE! They did not get my dress in and everytime I'd call them to ask if it was in they would say "we will get back to you". I ordered my dress 6 months before the wedding and they told me that it would be in in 4 months tops! So, I figured it would be fine! Well, 4 months turned to 5 and then It was 2 weeks before my wedding and the dress was in New York (I live in Naperville, ILlinois) and since I hadn't even tried on the dress yet, I didn't even know if it was going to fit right! They said "don't worry, if we have to we can do the allterations in 2 day's" I said " 2 DAYS? what? what if it doesn't fit, what if it didn't work? Well, they had no answers, they never called me and with 2 weeks left I had to go to David's Bridal and find a dress with 2 weeks to go! But thanks the the GREAT help at Davids Bridal I ended up finding a dress that I liked even more! BUt NEVER go to Bridal Mansion!

The Bridal Mansion is fantastic when you are there in person. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and the selection is also wonderful. However, trying to contact them by phone is a bit of a challenge. They tend to be so busy that the phone just continues to ring, goes to voice mail, or you receive a message that the voice mail box is full.cI did have one major problem with the Bridal Mansion in the months before my wedding. Apparently, they decided to move their store location about 3 months before my event and didn't bother to notify any of their current customers. While I'm sure this was a one-time, unique situation, it did cause a great deal of unneeded stress when I was unable to reach them by telephone - their only method of communication. I finally drove to their store (an hour drive for me) and found it completely shut down (and the parking lot full of snow!). After stopping in a nearby store and corralling the UPS man, we were able to figure out the Bridal Mansion's new location. When I arrived at the store and tried to desribe how not knowing they had moved made me feel, the sales ladies agreed with me in hushed tones that I should have been informed (a phone call? Postcard? E-mail?), but the owner replied with a flippant, "There's a sign on the door." When I informed her that the parking lot was full of snow and the building was inaccessible, she remarked, "Well, we weren't going to pay for snow removal at a building we're not using!"As a result of all this confusion, my invitations arrived about 2 weeks later than I intended them to. To the owner's credit, she put a rush order on them at no extra charge to me. Overall, I think the owner/manager could benefit from some business classes and better organization. However, her staff is wonderful and my actual dress-shopping experience was great. Just make sure they're not planning to move, and also make sure you live close enough to go there in person when you need something.

This is a long-established local business. They take great care in their customers and their store. The only problem I had with the place was thatthere was not a lot of room for parking. When I had appointments with my party, it was hard to park and maneuver around the lot.

They were wonderful when I came into buy the dress, but once the dress arrived they were not very responsive, and did not help to calm my fears of the dress not working out. My mother paid for my alterations, so I don't know how much they cost, but I bet that it cost more than it was worth, because my zipper would not stay up on my dress on the wedding day.
I just love the Bridal Mansion in Lisle. My studio used to be in Downers Grove and it seemed like whatever bride I was photographing had gotten her dress at the Bridal Mansion! This is the way I like to shop, small, personal service. One on one with someone who has your best interest in mind. If you are looking for a kind, caring professional, talk to Jane, she is top notch, no nonsense and terrific!
