If you are looking for a great value this is the place to go! The dresses are organized, but it is mostly a help yourself store so take a couple of people to help you.

Let's just put it this way, I tried 4 different places for dresses and I finally found the perfect dress here!!!

The staff at Bridal Mart were wonderfully helpful. The dress selection was veried and plentiful. I found my perfect dress in under 2 hours!

I was not a boutique bride, I wanted to go in, try on whatever I wanted without pressure, and not have someone pressuring me for commission. I got exactly what I wanted at Bridal Mart, wide variety, good prices, no pressure, but still very professional help from Wanda!

I found my perfect fairytale dress at Bridal Mart for an excellent price. While Bridal Mart very much has a warehouse feel, the staff was easy to work with and the selection was great! My Mom also found a great MOB dress there! Definitely go on a weekday, and you'll be good to go!

This place was really refreshing after we'd been to a few other stuffy dress vendors. They were really helpful, without being pushy. You can chose several dresses to try on at a time, and they have a HUGE selection. The dresses are really affordable, but still well crafted.
If you feel uncomfortable changing in front of other people, then you may want to try somewhere else, because the changing room is basically one big open space, shared with other girls. But I kinda had fun seeing what everyone else was trying on. I found a great vintage looking dress here.

The shopping experience was not what I expected. But the value was unbeatable. If you are looking for a fairytale 'say yes to the dress' experience this is not the place for you. But if you want a nice dress at a great value then this is your store. They have tons of dresses to pick from for anyone's budget and they have things for your whole wedding party. Be sure if you go here for your bridesmaids it is months in advance because those dresses must be ordered.

I went by myself to buy my dress. When I walked into the store absolutely NO ONE came over to help me. I was there 45 minutes before a sales person came over to help me. In fact I had taken 4 dresses off the rack and made my way into the dressing room and was putting on the 2nd dress before the woman said "excuse me is anyone helping you." Terrible. It wasn't until I told them that I had money to spend and I intended to pay for my dress that day that someone warmed up to me. After all that, the sales person who helped me was quite nice. She was very helpful and she worked with me until I had the perfect dress. I went to them because I thought they had the most affordable dresses in this area. Had I know about David's Bridal $99 sale....I would never have bought a dress at Bridal Mart.

They have almost any dress you could ask for. From the most efficient budget to couture. If they don't have it they can get i! AMAZING

I had a great consultant who really helped me. Bridal Mart was the only place I went and I got the perfect dress in my price range. I had a short time frame, so bridal mart told me the could rush the dress I wanted in the size i wanted and it would get to the store a month before the wedding. I agreed to this but then they called me later saying that actually they couldn't do that, the dress wouldn't arrive till 2 weeks before the wedding. Obviously, I couldn't play it that close, so I bought the store sample which was just one size too big and got it altered. No big deal, they just should have their facts straight before they say something that isn't true. But the dress looked great. I loved it!

I was hesitant about buying my dress online, but Bridal Mart was a perfect solution! They were a little slow in responding to my inquiries about shipping dates, etc., but I had my dress, in a manufacturer's box, within 6 weeks and my bridesmaids had theirs in the same sort of time frame. The dresses were perfect, neatly packaged, and the prices (for the real thing, not knock-offs) could not have been beaten.

I had a nightmarish experience working with this vendor. They did the dresses for my bride's maids. I had to pay rush fees for each dress because I ordered 13 weeks instead of 14 weeks prior to the wedding. When the dresses came in eight weeks later, they were all sized incorrectly resulting in me paying outrageous fees on one to have it altered. The other one was reasonable. However, one was a nightmare because they ordered a size 6 little girls instead of a size 6 woman's. They refused to acknowledge their mistake though I provided the height, weight, and size by bust, waist and hips. The manager finally acknowledged the issue and said she'd reorder the dress and it would arrive two weeks prior to the wedding and they'd then overnight it to my house. Two weeks prior, and nothing. I called them to ask about the dress, and the sales lady had no idea what I was speaking of since the last thing she had on record was that they tried to call me and could not reach me. INSANE! I had to then chase down someone for service on this issue. After multiple calls, I was finally told the dress had been ordered, and they'd have a confirmation date on when they would receive it five days prior to my wedding. That day came and went, and I called them. The sales lady flippantly told me she didn't call because she didn't have any news for me. At this point, I was livid, and she casually responded that the dress would be in on Friday (my wedding was the next day.). My mother then called threatening to sue them, and they said the dress would be in Thursday. On Thursday, they called me to tell me to come pick up the dress. This is after two months of promising to have the dress on my front door step since the initial mistake was their's! I told them I wasn't making the long drive and my expectation was that they would refund my rush order fee and have the dress on my door step on that same day as promised. They agreed to this in writing.
An hour after the dress should have arrived at my house, a lady showed up on my doorstep with the dress, and no mention of the refund they owed for me paying for a rush order though I had this guarantee in writing. I have never received that refund.
I will never give them any business again as long as I live, and encourage other brides who want to work with professional, organized, caring staff to do the same!

This store had the most amazing selection of any other bridal store that I had been to. I must have visited a dozen stores/boutiques looking for the perfect dress, and found it very easily at Bridal Mart. It fit my budget perfectly. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would reccommend to any bride on a budget.

Bridal Mart is not only the cheapest place in the Triangle and Triad area to buy your wedding dress, but also has the biggest selection. No appointment is needed when you go, and you are free to browse all of the dresses. The dress selection is more than you could ask for, and their employees are helpful if you don't know where to start. My dress was very reasonably priced, yet looked like a very expensive dress.

This was one of the most fun experiences of the entire planning process! After months of looking online I went to this place, taking just my mom, and thought I would try some on just to see what was going to work for me. Their selection is great! After trying several on, each better than the last, I picked one that I didn't even take seriously and it turned out to be the one!
The best part about this place is that they don't pressure you, they simply assist you with putting the dress on and make suggestions without trying to "upsale you". Just a little warning, they have one giant dressing room so there is no privacy, didn't bother me, but it's good to know ahead of time.

For the price and the quality, I couldn't have asked for better. But some of the people who work here are not the most responsive or professional. Some of the folks we encountered really wanted to help us find the perfect dress...but some were more set on closing up and going home (even when I said I would not leave without a dress). The overall experience was just OK...but the dress couldn't have been more perfect.

They have a HUGE selection of gowns! I went there not expecting to find my dress, and after having a blast trying on just about EVERY gown in the store, I FOUND IT! The price was amazing for such a beautiful gown! I LOVE LOVE LOVED my dress! Thank you!

By far they offer the best dress at remarkable prices. Just wish they would be more flexible espicially when the mistake is their error

I looked at several dress shops before visting Bridal Mart in Burlington, NC. I found the absolute perfect dress for my wedding at a cost that was below my budgeted amount. The dress was special ordered and when it came in it was not sized correctly and could not even be altered to fit me. They got on the phone and spoke with the company and reordered my dress that day. When the second one came in it was perfect. The sales staff was very helpful and comforting and calming when the first dress was wrong. My Mother ordered her dress from them also and it was an excellent choice for her. Darlene Morgan who did a few alterations on my dress was very knowledgeable and her fees were very reasonable. She did a great job on my bustle and also sewing the bra cups in so I would be more comfortable.

I was looking for a V-neck dress and found a bad selection of them at the other area stores I went to. When I walked in to Bridal Mart, I found several that matched what I was looking for and ultimately found the one!

I ordered both my dress and my bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Mart. The prices were very competitive and the dresses came in as we'd ordered them with out any mistakes.

Although, If you're looking for a bridal salon that more for the experience this is not that one. It bare bones minimum as far as atmosphere, and it's a group changing room. Those things didn't bother me so I found my dream dress at a great price and have no regrets.

Almost everyone I know in NC buys their wedding dress here including me. I found the most amazing designer gown for $800 which would normally cost me at least $1500 anywhere else. The girls that worked there were helpful but when it came down to closing, don't hold them up becuase they are ready to go. I got my bridesmaid dresses there for a great value of $105 each. They came in quickly and were all beautiful. Go here for a good value on dresses and great selection. The only thing they don't really have a good selection of is mother of the bride dresses. We got that from Belk.

Not a frilly shop by any means but I got my beautiful dress (not a sample, direct from the designer) at about a 30% discount. Not too shabby!

I saved over $200 on my beautiful CasaBlanca wedding dress I found in the Brides magazine. They measured me and we ordered it exactly to fit my measurements. They made my dream come true. The dressing room is shared by all----so be aware. It is worth it though to save the money you save and the bridal associates were most helpful. T Watson

I went into Bridal Mart and found the perfect dress, just my luck, it was brand spanking new and I was the first to try it on. My bridesmaids could choose their own style dress and all chose to purchase them from here as well. The staff is awesome and very professional. My only complaint was a manager using the wrong chart to order for one of my girls. Two weeks before the wedding we were struggling to get them to fix the mistake(2 sizes to big). They agreed to take it in to fit her, but we still had to find another seamstress to hem it. Overall, they are a great business and you won't beat the prices, anywhere!!

I wish I could give "Value for Cost" an extra 20 stars - their prices were amazing!! I got my dress for half of what was quoted to me in a boutique.

Their "dressing rooms" are basically one large room that is shared with all of the other ladies trying dresses on, so be prepared - I wore shorts, because I'm somewhat modest. It's worth it though!

The people working there were very nice, and they even shipped my dress to me at a very reasonable cost, which was nice, since I live an hour away. I would definitely recommend getting a dress there!

Bridal Mart has great prices on dresses. However i would not suggest renting tuxes from them. Our tuxes did not come in when they were suppose to and the staff was very rude with the guys picked them up.

I was disappointed with how long it took to receive my dress, also the lack of response to calls and inquiries when it was late arriving. I did have it altered there, but they wanted to charge me much more to have it taken in, and they hesitated to do it, which should have been explained UP FRONT, when you're buying the dress. I ended up having it altered elsewhere, by someone who did a FANTASTIC job, and the dress ended up looking terrific, no thanks to Bridal Mart.

One week and one day before my boyfriend and my vacation to Las Vegas, we decided to turn it into a destination wedding. I immediately booked an appointment at the local David's Bridal for Wed. January 6, exactly one week before the wedding. The maid of honor called and recommended the Bridal Mart (where she found her gown for her own wedding). I canceled my appointment at David's and we headed to Burlington where we made it clear I HAD to leave with a dress that evening. I found a beautiful Allure Couture gown for $700. I left with it on a Wednesday and was able to take it to my master tailor and have it ready to leave with by Saturday. The consultant was amazing at helping us flip through the racks and racks of gowns and the prices were unbelievable.

Although Bridal Mart is not your typical boutique experience, if you have some idea of what you're looking for it's a gem. The staff are pleasant and helpful (though not like a consultant would be) and the prices can't be beat. I didn't have any complaints about how quickly the dresses came in (my dress & BM dresses) and I found the staff to be very helpful whenever I called. My only complaint might be that they can only ship things to one address - Bridal Mart or your own or wherever. I had 4 BMs, 3 out of town so I had to mail the dresses myself. Totally worth it for the great prices!

The prices are definitely what make this place. I came down from DC to go to Bridal Mart with my Mom (who lives in Raleigh). We found the people here extremely helpful. Wading through all the racks is a bit of a challenge, but we ended up finding a really lovely gown for 750- half the price of similar gowns in other stores. I'm not sure the dress I received was the brand I thought it was (no tags!!), but frankly I was fine with it for the quick responses, kind service, and super-fast shipping. My dress arrived back at my house much earlier than anticipated, and was great.

The only issue? My dress came in as ordered, except the bust was too small- a manufacturer defect, not my own size change. If I had tried it on and noticed sooner, I could likely have returned it for a gown that was not defective. It was my fault not to check it sooner, but I was still a bit perturbed that they would not exchange the gown when I realized the issue. Still worth the price- but check your gown immediately for sizing and beading, etc!

I found the perfect dress at Bridal Mart but it was not my size. I was a little panicked because I needed a dress pretty soon and the average turn around time for a dress is weeks. It was a Sunday on a holiday weekend so they could not contact the manufacturer until Tuesday. They called me first thing Tuesday and said they could get it and it was here in plenty of time. What a relief. Thanks Bridal Mart!

I found my dress at a store in New Jersey and then went to Bridal Mart to see if they had one and to try on others. They had to order my dress, they charged about half of the price that the NJ store did. It was delivered to my door in just a few days!
Oh-there are no dressing rooms just tiny divider walls.

If your looking for a great dress for a low cost, this is the place to go. I got my dress for $600 and I loved it. But I had problems getting the dress to me. The first time they called me and said my dress was there, but when I got there, they had ordered the wrong dress. They ordered it again but it took another 14 weeks to get there. I got my dress only 6 weeks before my wedding.

The staff is amazing at Bridal Mart. It has been nearly a year since I purchased my dress, but I believe the woman who helped me was named Jane. The inside is not much to look at, and there are not really any "dressing rooms," but it is worth the savings! I found my dress from Alfred Angelou, in January, for his fall collection. I later found my dress in Modern Bride magazine, Brides magazine, and other places- *listed online* for twice what I paid! I would give the value for cost 10 out of 5 if I could!

Worth the trip, the calls, emails, etc?Bridal Mart has excellent customer service and even better prices. We ordeded all of the bridal party attire from there including my dress, my moms dress and bridesmaids dresses. They have angels working there. Everyone that we met with and came into contact with were so nice and helpful. Their prices are fantastic, when other stores quoted upwards of $2500 for my wedding gown, Bridal Mart beat the price by more than half!

We purchased my gown and bridesmaids dresses from this vendor! My dress was beautiful and fit perfectly!!! GREAT DISCOUNTS!! My bridesmaids dresses, however, were all wrong. The dresses were beautiful but when we ordered, we ordered via the dress brand size chart and the dresses were HUGE. My girls were size 4's and 6's and the dress chart said we needed to order size 8's and a 12! We did so, and we should have stuck with our gut feeling. Just be sure your consultant is aware of the brand sizing before you order because they would not let us return them.

I had an 8 hour drive to get this dress and it looked so goon on. We found it in the 40% off section b/c this dress is no longer being made. So we had to get it off the rack... but we got it cleaned and it looked good on.

You have to look around a lot. but there are a lot of dresses there. I wsas there for 6 hours trying things on. Looking at a lot of the dresses they have gotten dirty and beads are popping off. but most of them we can order a new one for like 100$ more. I guess I got lucky that mine wasnt that bad and it cleand up really nice.

They had a consultant work directly with me to insure that I found the dress of my dreams and we didn't stop until I had found it. They also have great dresses for tight budgets.

I enjoyed my day at Bridal Mart, mostly because it had a great selection and I found a dress for way below my budgeted expense! We were there on a day that got busy quickly, so we did not receive a lot of undivided attention or anything like that. It is nice to be able to walk around and actually touch the dresses as you look without getting yelled at like at Davids Bridal. I tried on many different styles and did end up with something other then the original dress I had gone to try on, but was incredibly happy with it and the price.

This is a terrific place to search for bridal gown, as well as bridal party, bridesmaids ,maid of honors, flower girls, miniature brides., mothers of bride/groom dresses and even Quinceaneras and prom dresses.Their prices are as much as 80% off of designer name gowns. My gown was originally $1400, priced at $300, and on the day I went was 50% off with $10 going to breast cancer research, so I paid $150 for a $1400 dress. They were very busy that day but have staff on hand to assist you with measuring, sizing, dressing rooms etc. They have huge mirrors to veiw all sides for trying on gowns. I would recommend going early and trying to find or order correct size as alterations were going to cost us more than we paid for the dress, but only because we bought the last one of that particular gown on sale, so we had it altered elsewhere. But you cannot do any better than we did finding such a beautiful designer gown for less than avg prom dress costs today. They also have all the accesseries, tiaras,veils, jewelry, storage preservation box kits for your dress, gloves, bras, shoes,crinolines,Tuxedos and I even saw information on flower preservation for your boquet. They have a huge list of designers you can view ahead on their website, each takes you to the designers on website so you can get an idea what you like prior to going to the store. I would recommend doing this to as the choices are overwhelming, so start early at the websites prior to going to store so you have time if you wish to order a gown not on site or in your size. We will definately use this bridal mart again, my mother in law even found a 2 piece dress on sale for $50. My only reason for not giving perfect 5 stars acroos would be a need for more staff to assist and checkout but we also were at busiest season.

They had a large selection and a great variety for great prices. I had a great experience and would recommend them to others.

Bridal Mart had a wide variety of different styles of dresses to choose from! It only took a couple hours to decide on the perfect dress :) The only problem is that they only order one size in a dress style to keep in the store for customers to try on. They will measure you to determine the right size (which is what I did and I didn't need any alterations) but it would still have been nice to see my dress on in the correct size in the store before purchasing.

Bridal Mart definately has the lowest prices on gowns. Service varies depending on when you go and how crowded they are. Lots of gowns seems overwhelming so I would recommend going more than once. Also I would recommend checking the price of a gown there before ordering it somewhere else. I saved over 400 dollars on my gown.

Bridal Mart was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady who helped me suggested several dresses and made shopping for a dress so easy and exciting! I would highly recommend it.

Bridal Mart has a wide selection of bridal gowns, but only one size for a given style, which means if you find a style you like, you may not be able to try on the best fit. They will take your measurements to figure out which size should be ordered. Order at least 3 months before your wedding. I ordered my gown on July 29 and was told it would come in on October 31. Luckily, the dress came a little earlier than expected. If the store is busy, don't expect much help from the sales clerks, who are very nice but can be busy. I recommend you go with a friend/family member to help you get into the dresses. There are no private dressing rooms! Also, taking a camera along while you try on dresses is helpful. It allows you to see how you look in the dress more objectively. The prices are very good at Bridal Mart!!

Huge selection of dresses and unbeatable prices. Plus they can order almost any brand and style that you are looking for if they don't have it in stock. The size charts online and in-store are very accurate. I found my dress at a different boutique, but ordered it through Bridal Mart because the price was almost $100 less.

This is definitely a do-it-yourself kind of bridal dress store. You pick your own dresses off the rack, take them to the dressing room yourself, etc. In fact, after the initial tour of the store, the salespeople never approached me. When I needed help with something, it was always easy to find someone to ask... they were just very hands-off, otherwise. Also, the dressing rooms aren't separated by anything - no curtains, stalls, nothing - so there's very little privacy. The dresses are cheap though, so if you don't mind some extra effort and some discomfort in the name of saving money, this is a good place to look.

I went to David's Bridal and spent the afternoon there and didn't like the way any of the dresses looked on me. A few weeks later I went to Bridal Mart and the first dress I tried one was the one I bought! It was 1/2 the price of all the dresses at David's Bridal. What a bargain! I would definitely recommend them!

I used Bridal Mart for my dress, veil, shoes and my bridesmaids' dresses and shoes. I had a great experience with everyone there (including the alterationist). I was in and out of the store often with everything that we got from there and I never encountered any sort of bad customer service. Everyone there was very professional, patient, and willing to go the extra mile. Everything I ordered arrived on-time or early and was exactly what I'd ordered. I was fortunate enough to find my dress very early on in the process and at a GREAT price (it was one that was on sale as a discontinued style). I never had to worry about the store and whether or not they would come through for me on any of my orders. They have a great reputation in the area and it is well deserved!

There was some initial confusion with the colors my dress was offered in - they didn't seem very organized. My dress took 3 months to come in and I had to reach out to them for an update. The dresses are a good price, but they charge a lot for alterations, accessories, steaming the dress, etc.

While the service wasn't the level you will find in nicer bridal salons, the price is right. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from here because I was able to get them for over $100 less than at other stores. I wanted my bridesmaids to have beautiful dresses, without paying a lot of money, and that's why I chose Bridal Mart.

I purchased my Watters & Watters bridesmaids dresses at Bridal Mart simply because they had the best prices. I wanted my bridesmaids to have beautiful dresses, without costing them an arm and a leg. After visiting several other bridal shops and finding the dress I wanted, Bridal Mart was nearly $150 cheaper per dress! It seems that lesser service comes with the lesser price. I had to wait a very long time while ordering the dresses. They have a lot of dresses in stock, which is great, but they just have one big fitting room with 'stalls' that are open to each other. I wouldn't recommend trying on dresses there. The fluorescent lights don't do much for you either.

Great choice of dresses at reasonable prices. I loved my dress, it fit perfectly with no alterations and arrived on time. My complaint is with the service. The woman who helped us was extremely rude. The dresses there are by no means in good condition since so many people try them on. My mom touched the dress I was trying on and the saleswoman jumped all over her telling her she would get it dirty. Then the saleswoman wouldn't let my mom in the dressing room with me which is odd because the dressing rooms are just large rooms where everyone changes in front of everyone. I tried dresses on at Bridal Mart on several occasions before that and never was told that someone couldn't come in the dressing room.

Still, this place is better than David's Bridal where I always felt like I was hounded by the salespeople.

Bridal Mart did a great job with helping me find the right dress. I found it the first day that I went dress shopping, due largely to their huge selection of dresses. They were very easy to deal with, took measurements, ordered the dress specifically for me and it came in on time. We had a few complications with my veil, it came in 2 times incorrectly but it was a very specific order for a veil. They were very sorry and shipped it (no additional cost) to our home the 3rd time. They were very professional and very helpful. I enjoyed working with them and I'm so glad that I got my dress from there, it was absolutely beautiful!

I bought my dresses from Bridal Mart off of Zinfandel in Rancho Cordova. I was VERY happy with my Forever Yours dresses we purchased. They are great quality and turned out beautifully. I also had them by the promised date.

Attendants were very helpful and the store has a HUGE selection of dresses (gowns, bridesmaids, mother-of-bride, flower girl, etc.). The dressing room is wide open (you can't be modest!), but it is also nice b/c you can trade dresses back there with other brides if you saw them wearing one you like. Prices are fabulous - you can buy them off the rack really cheap or order them for a great sale price. If you are out-of-state, you pay shipping but not NC tax (I saved $180 just from having no tax!). My bridesmaids dresses arrived a month early, and my own gown was right on time. The tiara that I bought there was so pretty that my friends have asked to borrow it in their own weddings. The store does not accommodate young children (even infants in strollers), so prepare accordingly. Call ahead to be sure they have the designs you are interested in - usually they will have the dress, but only in one size. The first time I tried on the dress I liked, it was a size six, and when I went back, they only had it in a 24... so definitely call ahead if you need to! There are lots of restaurants nearby if you need to stop for a lunch/dinner break!

The bridal mart had a great selection of dresses. It was convenient that there were thousands of dresses all in one location. They were great about getting the dresses in a timely manner, but we had to go pick them up. However it was very crowded the day we were there and there was not much room for all of the girls to try on dresses. Another disappointing part of the day was that majority of the dresses to try on were all smaller sizes. The different size girls were left out of trying on most of the dresses. Because the selection of designers and styles was so extensive they typically only had one color of each style of dress. It is more difficult to picture a dress in a different color if you are unable to see it in person.

If you're looking for a sophisticated boutique with excellent service, this is not the place for you. If you were like me and just wanted to get the most bang for your buck (and number of dresses in one location!), then Bridal Mart in Burlington is good place to check out. They have tons and tons of dresses and great prices.

A great place to try on hundreds of dresses. THey are a real bargain if you find something you like!

I live in MD, and one of my bridesmaids lived in Burlington. She mentioned finding the Alfred Angelo bridesmaid dress they would be wearing for about 1/3 less than I could find it up here, and cheaper than everywhere else we looked. The associates were always helpful (I called to price check lots of dresses, and check status, and with questions), the dresses were delivered ahead of schedule, and were beautiful!!

You are a little overwhelmed with the amount of brides all searching for that "perfect dress" but go with one or two supportive people (i.e. mother or maid of honor) and take your time. You can easily find a beautiful dress for cheap!

Great dresses for a low budget; an endless selection. Expect to easily spend a whole day there trying on dresses.

If it wasn't for the dress I would have never done business with the bridal mart. The service was crap. No one helped me out from the start. I had to ask several people for assistance. When I went to order my dress, they did not tell me the right details about the dress. I had to call the manager several times to get my dress order correct. I asked several people including the manager on duty at the time of ordering if the dress came in different lengths, they all said no. I looked on the website and called the dress maker's company and found out that it did come in different lengths so I had to call the bridal mart and demand them to change my order to the right short length. The details on the dress were excellent and I did not want to spend hundreds more to get it altered when the dress comes in the right length (no need for altering). It took me 3 days to get my dress order correct and I had the hardest time changing the order and talking to the managers did not help. It was awful service. You think a manger would be helpful and understanding to a bride about her wedding dress. WRONG! I mean if you do not mind bad customer service and the potential of having misinformed information about your wedding dress, there is nothing wrong with going there. But personally I like excellent customer service esp. when it came to things dealing with my wedding. I would not recommend the place. Like I first stated, if I could have found my dress elsewhere I would have canceled my order with bridal mart and went there, but no where else had the dress of my dreams.

If you are looking to be fawned over or want a one-of-a-kind dress, then Bridal Mart is not for you. But if you want a beautiful dress at a great price - and especially if you don't particularly enjoy having people wait on you - then Bridal Mart is the way to go. I took my bridesmaids and mom with me. You can pick dresses up off the rack and take them back to try on (you don't have to wait for someone to help you). We had a lot of fun as a group and appreciated the freedom to try on as many dresses as we liked. It was a great experience, and I got a great dress.

I ordered my dress from Bridal Mart but had to have certain parts special made for me--They handled all communication with the dress maker and had my dress made to my exact specifications. Because of my circumstances--my dress took 4.5 months to order, make and be delivered into my hands. Overall they did a great job!

This is about the only place in Burlington that sales wedding attire so there really was no other choice for me. But they do have reasonable prices.

I got a GREAT DEAL on my dress...but that was about it. This is not a 'one-on-one' atmosphere...the dressing rooms are all open so everyone can watch you change, and the lady helping you with your dress is also helping about 10 other brides at the same time...and they can be a little pushy. They work on commission. The staff tends to be short with you and not always knowledgable about the dresses or the services they provide. They told me my dress had been discontinued and that if I wanted it I had to buy the sample off the racks...well what could I do, it was THE DRESS so I bought it...and later found the dress online, still available to be ordered custom.

I got a designer dress for half price from the Bridal Mart. You should definitely check it out if you are on a budget.

I think I tried on every dress I even came close to liking in this store!! I didn't buy one from here but loved that noone was all over me, yet they were easy to find if I needed assistance. I had a dress in mind that they didn't have or I would have purchased it from here.

I found my dream dress here for about 300 or 400 less than it was being sold for at other bridal shops in charlotte. My dress arrived quickly and the ladies were very helpful with fittings and the order procedure. I would strongly recommend this location for anyone who wants that name brand dress, not a knockoff at a very low price.

I got an amazing dress for about $160 cheaper than discount websites. My biggest issue with them was that when I was leaving, they told me after I had been fitted, and paid, that I could order my dress 3 inches shorter which probably would have avoided the need to get the bottom hemmed. This irked me. When I called the next day to talk to someone, their answering machine picked up saying they don't answer phones on the weekend. As I was only in NC for the weekend, this was a problem.

The dress was beautiful, a 2007 design, and the value was tremendous, especially for all the lace and beadwork. But the customer service could have been much better. The selection at the store was amazing, and well worth the trip.

The salespeople were very helpful and courteous. Expect to spend several hours here looking at the dresses. I priced several dresses at other bridal boutiques and the Bridal Mart was the most reasonable.

The Bridal Mart is definitely the place to go to find the perfect wedding dress. After searching online for months to find the perfect style of dress, I was able to find it immediately at the Bridal Mart. The price of my dress at the bridal mart was 1/3 of the price from the designer's website...I just wish I could have worn it more than once!
I would warn you that if you are shy or you prefer your privacy when trying on clothes you may want to bring a sheet to change behind...Everyone trying on dresses changes in the same big room...there is no room for modesty here!

Bridal Mart is crazy disorganized, but I got my dream dress for a steal ($200!) and my bridesmaids got amazing prices on their dresses too. Just make sure you do your own research and check over every detail (including sizing on the bridesmaids dresses) before placing your order as the Bridal Mart staff seem to be a bit clueless.

Although some of the dresses are cheap, they are only in one size, so it's hard to shop around at all, and they take a long time to order in a different size. I wandered aimlessly for a long time before receiving any help, and then most of the dresses I tried on were not my taste. If you want simple, go somewhere else. If you want elaborate-yet-not-expensive, it might be worth a try.

The wedding dresses here are ok. They do not carry any of the higher end designer dresses, so don't go there if you are looking for those. They do carry a very large selection of bridesmaid dresses (you can find some of the nicer brands of these here) and the gowns are cheaper than most other places. The service is terrible and you will have to hunt someone down if you want help. I really hate this store.

The women at this shop seemed very out of tune with my needs and didn't devote one person to me while I tried on dresses. The dress I did find was at exceptional value, but ended up not having the flexibility to be taylored very well. I feel like if I had some assistance I would have known this prior to making my purchase.

I would recommend Bridal Mart to others solely because the money that you can save ordering a dress here instead of through a small boutique. The dress that I ended up ordering cost me around $600, however my mother found the exact same dress at a bridal store in another town for amost $1800! The drawbacks are that it is a very large store with a lot of brides coming in and out, so you don't get quite the personal service that you might get some where else. MOST of the attendants are very helpful and friendly, so it's not too hard to find something that you will love. Not to mention that they have way more dresses available to try on than any other place I visited. We also purchased bridesmaids dresses here, and all of the orders came through without a hitch.

I loved the customer service I received. I got a $1000 dress for $200, and it was beautiful. Lots of good deals available, and the associates were willing to help me find the perfect dress for me in my price range. I highly recommend this business!

Don't expect extremely personalized service at Bridal Mart, but you can find some excellent buys! They have tons of wedding dresses! It's a bit disorganized, but I found the dress of my dreams there! They have unannounced sales all of the time, so you can get dresses cheap! Don't go here for Bridesmaid gowns, though, they weren't the prettiest!

I think the best selling point of this place is that they will have the best prices. The dressing rooms are open so there isn't any privacy. While they have large dress selection, they didn't have much in the area of what type of dress I was looking for. They let you know when your order is in through a mailed postcard. I would have preferred a phone call so I could have picked them up and dropped them off in another state while I was visiting instead of having to ship all of them. I found out the dresses arrived 3 days before I left town.

though actually shopping here on a Saturday is possibly the craziest thing you could do, buying your gown here is an excellent idea. the selection of gowns in every size and price range is incredible, and the staff are very helpful. I would not recomend buying formalwear for the guys or mothers here, but the gown and bridesmaid dresses I ordered were exactly what I wanted, arrived earlier than planned, and were MUCH less expensive than other stores I had looked into.

I used Bridal Mart for both my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses. I worked with a great group of ladies, I loved the easy atmosphere... some of the other bridal shops were so snobby! It's very laid back, and while you don't get your own personal dressing room, the cheap prices make it worth it! I loved my dress and the bridesmaid dresses, and they all fit perfectly according to the size recommendations the shop gave. No complaints at all, I highly recommend Bridal Mart!

My dress was gorgeous! They allowed me to look around and were not pushy like other dress shops.

Great prices, wonderful selection. It takes some time to push through the racks but it's worth it.

Here's what to expect:

* There are LOTS of dresses. You can easily spend all day in here trying on dresses and I recommend it. The more you try on, the more you'll be sure what you do and don't like. Take at least one friend/family member to hold your purse and snap photos of you in the dresses you try on. Unlike some snooty dress shops, Bridal Mart is more than happy to let you take pics of yourself in the dresses you try on. Some of the samples have been man-handled by a bunch of other brides. Don't worry - that's why they're called "samples". The dress they order for you will be brand new and pristine.

* You don't get a private dressing room. The try-on area is kind of a long hallway with little walls dividing the hall into stalls. You'll look around and pick out dress samples you like. Then the staff hangs them up for you on a hook in your stall until you're ready to try them all on. When you're ready, you kind of get assigned a staff member and they help you try on dresses. Believe me, you'll need at least one person to help you get in a wedding dress. You're out there in front of all the other girls that are trying on dresses in the dressing area. None of them will be paying any attention to you in your undies, but I'd still recommend wearing some nice ones that you won't mind anyone seeing. Your life will also be a lot easier if you already have on a strapless bra, but if you don't have one they'll let you use one of theirs to try stuff on.

* The level of service you get during the "try on" process seems to be a direct result of the staff member you get. If you don't "click" with the once you get initially, don't be shy about asking someone else to help you instead. You are making the most important clothing purchase of your life - you deserve to have the best service. The lady that was helping me to start with was said everything was "so cute" and then started trying on dresses herself. She was crazy. That's when I switched to Mary Ella. She was fabulous. She must have helped me try on 100 dresses over two days. Her patience never ran out. When I thought I'd made my final choice my mom balked at the price. I finally just broke down crying in the dressing room and sobbed to Mary Ella about how unfair my mom was being. Then I started babbling about the wedding site and how my mom just didn't understand my whole vision for the wedding. Mary Ella looked me square in the face and said, "Well, why didn't you say that in the first place?" and marched over to a rack we hadn't been near (because the samples weren't anywhere close to my size). She plucked one from the rack and said, "Try this on, for me." I did and when I came out of the dressing room and looked in the mirror my eyes welled up with tears. It was "the one". I don't know how she knew that it would look so good on me or that I'd love it - she must be a wedding dress psychic. She also helped me pick out the perfect veil and jeweled comb. Several months later I came in to order bridesmaids dresses and she stopped me from making a huge mistake. She showed me some dresses I'd never seen that went better with my colors and were cheaper!

Wedding Gown:

The Bridal Mart in Burlington, North Carolina is a great place to find your favorite dress at a discount price. The place is massive with wedding dresses from so many designers. The best thing to do is go look and try on dresses from a local boutique, but come and buy it at Bridal Mart. The online catalog is pretty good especially if you want to shop before you show up. The best thing is to have an idea of what kind of dress you want (whether it’s a specific design or designer). Its not really a good place to "window" shop and the dressing room is pretty open to everyone. You will definitely save some money here!

Alterations:

Bridal Mart is where I purchased my wedding dress. In the back of the store, there is an alteration shop. If you purchase your dress there, the alteration is pretty cheap. They also steam the dress and set it in a shaper to keep it from wrinkling. The alteration is pretty good. The only problem I had was that the clasp came off pretty easy. I had to put on my dress for the bridal portrait a few weeks prior to the wedding and clasp broke off. I called Bridal Mart and they asked that I bring it back in to fix at no charge. I brought it in and got it back the next weekend. They even re steamed my dress. I would definitely recommend others to try them for dress alterations.

I would highly recommend Bridal Mart. I found my dress in a magazine and my friend suggested Bridal Mart. I called Bridal Mart to see if they had my dress, it was retail $1000 but at Bridal Mart, I got it for just $400! I already knew my size and knew that I loved the dress so I ordered through the phone and they sent it to me well packaged. Everyone that worked with me was great!

This is NOT a full service boutique. In fact, you will probably have to tackle someone as they rush past if you expect any help (and they may act as if you're inconveniencing them). Especially for bridesmaid dresses, I would recommend that you check out their website, and know what they have and what you want before you go in. That will speed the process along. But you can't beat the selection for the price. Take a good friend or your mom with you, and just go and try dresses on. At least there won't be any haggling. You won't find a better price anywhere.

Bridal Mart really is the Walmart of wedding dresses. I surfed the Internet for the exact style of dress I wanted and luckily was able to order through Bridal Mart at a great value. The atmosphere of the store itself is definitely not meant to be something refined--it was basically a warehouse. But if you want great value, this is the place to go. They have a very wide selection of designs and labels at hard-to-beat prices.

All you get is the dress, no pressing, underskirt or alterations. If you don't need those its a deal, if you do need them you might be better off going to a boutique

Wonderful-- got my perfect dress for a low price!

I had a horrible experience at David's bridal... after leaving there in tears when the lady told me(a size 16) that I was too fat for their dresses and there was not use in me looking.... i ventured to Burlington in dreading even looking at another dress. When I walked into Bridal Mart I was greeted immediatly and waited on like I was royalty. My associate not only helped find the perfect dress... but she made me feel special, listened to my mothers crazy rantings, and helped me make my wedding day perfect. The alterations were quick and affordable, and they steamed my dress twice for portrait and wedding day and it was perfect!

Everyone should go here!

Bridalmart had a ton of dresses to try on, especially for plus-sized brides. The alteration lady was a little difficult to work with and I don't feel my dress fit as well as it could with better altertations. Definately a great place to try on dresses with so many to choose from. I also bought 2 garment bags for my dress since we would be traveling with it, however when the dress was returned to me after alterations, there was only 1 garment bag - they had lost one.

Wow. Best prices by far. Name-brand, good quality dresses. Millions of bridesmaid dresses to try on. Our salesperson Karen was wonderful to work with. I would definitely buy here, but maybe not go here first. I suggest going to David's Bridal for a very simple stress-free introduction to dress shopping to get an idea of what you like, then go to Bridal Mart and find a higher-quality, cheaper dress to buy. I got my tiara there for $20

I found my dress at another boutique and saw that it could be ordered at Bridal Mart for 25% less. The service wasn't as great as it is at smaller boutiques, but if you are on a budget the prices are excellent.

I purchased my wedding dress at Bridal Mart. I had found the dress I wanted at a local boutique for $750, and was amazed to find the same dress there for $250. They have a very large selection grouped by styles, so it may be difficult to find the exact dress you are looking for if you have your heart set on something specific, but you are sure to find a dress you like because the selection is endless, and the prices are great. It took 3-4 months for my dress to come in, and when it came in, it had a large dark spot on the front of the dress, so they cleaned it for us, but unfortunately, we had to make another trip to the store to have it cleaned. The store is approximately 2 hours from our home, so that was very inconvenient.
