Really awkward experience when I first went to try on dresses. I came in with my mom and MOH. The sales girl didn't even bother to greet us. I asked her to pull a certain dress for me, she did, but she just handed it to me instead of putting it up in the fitting room. I had to ask my MOH to help me lace up some of the dresses. The sales girl ordered lunch after we had been there about 15 minutes, it must have been from a friend or someone she knew because she said in an annoyed voice that she would pick it up "when I am able to because I am starving here and I cannot leave". So we left. Poor girl must have been really, really hungry and cranky.
This place, in Port St. Lucie of Florida, is smaller, but they have a good variety. The woman who owns the place has a knack for knowing what will look good on you. Wow - she was amazing. she really helped me find the dresses that looked good on me - ones that I avoided pulling from the racks, because my initial thought was I didn't like it. But because she knew what would look good, I found a beautiful dress!
The downside for this place is their "no picture" policy. This policy irritates me because my family is 1500 miles away. I want to take pictures so I can share with my mom and sister, because of course, I value their opinion and they are candid with me. The woman told me the only way I could take pictures is if I was serious and put down a deposit. How could that be helpful to me? If there is one dress I like, and I take a picture and share it with my mom, and they say I look bad, well then I'm out the deposit! Not fair to me.
I did not buy a dress from here because again I couldn't share any pictures with my mom and sister.
