Bride's House and Formals

The customer service at the store was horrible for me. At first I was excited about shopping for my wedding gown but became discouraged by the lack of professionalism. I bought a gown hoping that it was a one off experience but it didn't get any better. Brides save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

Brides House was very helpful to me when it came to buying my wedding dress and having alterations done. There was some difficulty with getting my bridesmaid dresses, but I am not sure that was their fault (they had to be ordered and shipped). All in all, everything worked out fine and my dress (and the bridesmaid dresses) were beautiful!

Attendants VERY helpful - offer good selection of dresses, having ability to alter on site. Also have drawings for free makeovers!!

I had a great experience using Bride's House and Formals. I got the perfect dress, I'd found online months before and they actually had it, and I was able to buy the dress off the floor for a fantastic price (the sales are phenomenal!). I also got all the bridesmaids dresses from Bride's House and they were very understanding that I had 6 college age girls (two from the area and two not) and they were wonderful coordinating everything. They also did my alterations and the alterations for some of the bridesmaids (two even had theirs altered the day before the wedding!) I would gladly go back to Bride's House. My dress was around $700 for a Justin Alexander dress and the bridesmaids spent about $120 for their floor length B2 dresses- alteration prices varied but were reasonable.

Overall, they were very helpful. I shopped around all the bridal stores in the area and they were the best to work with. They didn't have my dress in stock ( I'd found it at another place to try on) and it took much longer to come in than was expected. My dress had to be re-done by the seamstresses 4 different times when all it needed was a panel sewn in and straps shortened. Neither of the 2 seamstresses seemed to have any idea what they were doing and actually fussed at me for selecting the dress I did because "it was hard to alter". Aside from the seamstresses though, a great place to shop... maybe just find someone else for alterations.

I was extremely disappointed with this place. I'm very unhappy since i'll end up having a dress that is not the one I originally wanted (but still kinda like it), and the flower girl dresses got changed on me. The wedding had to be delayed for paperwork & visa reasons and they don't seem to care that the flower girl dresses might not fit for our big day. I understand that they run a business, but for such a big thing, they should be more flexible and willing to understand problems.

The people here are great to work with- very reasonably priced gorgeous dresses, a great selection with a range of styles and prices. They were very professional as well. The only issue we had was that the alterations took a little longer than anticipated because they had a tailor quit unexpectedly (we had to go back in to be re-pinned because she had not left al her markings); however, they handled the issue with the utmost professionalism and had the dress altered and complication corrected within a few days. If there is any complications with you or your bridesmaids dresses, I know that they will do all that they can to work for you and get everything done to your satisfaction as quickly and stress-free as possible.
