Don't even know where to begin - - Aaron made me look and feel beautiful, years younger. Still don't know how he made all the wrinkles disappear, he is a master. I recently learned he gives classes and advice on makeup - - not to sell you his own products, but to truly make you look your best. He spent the better part of the day applying makeup on a bride, her two matrons of honor, 5 bridesmaids, and the mom, and he was one of the family, from the start. He is the ultimate professional, gifted at his craft, and the perfect companion for the wedding day. Love love love this guy!

Aaron was absolutely fabulous, my makeup looked natural, felt great, and stayed on! even my lipstick. We had a great time getting ready and all the girls looked gorgous. This is definitely worth every penny and it made getting ready so fun!

I found BRIDEface Richmond by reading reviews just like the one I'm writing now. I knew the one "extravagance" I wanted for my wedding was a hair and make up artist on site. I am so glad I chose BRIDEface for my make up!

Aaron Ellerbrock did my trial the day of my engagement photos (at his suggestion, so smart!!!) and I was nervous to meet a stranger and have them do my make up. I wanted to look natural and beautiful. After two minutes with Aaron, you feel at ease and know he is a true professional! My engagment photos came out amazing and after my friends saw them, they all wanted their make up done (even my mother, who doesn't let ANYONE do her make up :) I was so excited for the wedding day.

Aaron made my day so relaxed. He had a wide range of girls to do make up for from my 17 year old and 8 year old to my 23 and 40 something bridemaids to my 70 year old mother. All felt stunning when done! My biggest fear was my wedding was New Years Eve. First look at 3 p.m., wedding at 6:30, New Year at Midnight - will my make up last? Aaron assured me, I would look amazing as my new husband carried me over the threshold of our honeymoon suite and he was right. Look no further ladies....he's the one and he doesn't cost a fortune either!

If ever there was the most qualified, friendly, professional, and talented makeup artist, his name was/is Aaron Ellerbrock with Brideface! I was married in November of this year, and I can truly say that from the time of my first inquiry about the services, to hugging him goodbye on my wedding day, each and every interaction with him exceeded my expectations. Aaron is super qualified in makeup, skin care, and the cosmetic industry in general. He worked for Laura Mercier on a national level and knows just about every cosmetic line out there, and who makes the best of everything. With that, he is also professional and very organized. He was great about following up with me, answering emails and phone calls and making sure that I was well taken care of. He even suggested the hairstylist that I ended up using and loving too! I am not at all a "makeup" person, but I am very sensitive about my skin because of redness, dryness, the occasional breakout, etc. At the consultation, Aaron walked through everything he suggested for the wedding day, and even suggested a few products (drug store-- not expensive and he wasn't selling!) that I could use from then until the wedding to help improve my skin condition. He was very open to questions and receptive to my opinion. The lashes he uses are perfectly beautiful and the airbrush foundation feels so light but lasts forever! Aaron is extremely easy-going and was very accommodating with fluctuation in numbers of girls having their makeup done. Among the chaos of my 7 bridesmaids, he seemed perfectly comfortable and all of the girls felt like they had made a new friend by the end of the day! In summary, I feel comfortable saying that this vendor exceeds expectations in everything they do. Highly recommended!!

Aaron was incredible to work with, from the day I first contacted him through the last bridesmaids' makeup. He was responsive, patient, positive, upbeat, and fun. Not to mention, he and his assistant did a fantastic job making me and my whole wedding party look flawless (but not caked in makeup). And it lasted! My face looks the same in the pictures after dancing as it did when he first finished up! I would highly recommend BRIDEface to anyone who is looking for a wedding day makeup artist who is reliable and easy to get along with, as well as very good at what he does.

I found Aaron through these reviews so I felt I needed to just reinforce how wonderful he is for others. As all the other reviews will tell you, Aaron is incredibly talented and can make anyone look absolutely stunning. But more than that, Aaron is a ton of fun to be around and made me feel so relaxed all day. I had as much fun getting ready with my bridal party as I did at my actual wedding and I really do believe that's a special experience that every bride deserve on her big day.

Aaron is an amazing makeup artist. He did my makeup for both my engagement pictures and my wedding, and the end product was beautiful. I am African American, and Aaron did a great job assuring me he was comfortable doing makeup for women of color. He is also very professional, and very flexible. From our first email, he was very easy going, and the whole contract process was very easy and stress free. I recommend him for any occasion in which you want to look your very best!!

Aaron was absolutely amazing to work with.On a day where stress can easily get the best of everyone, he made me, all of my bridesmaids, and my mother feel so comfortable on my wedding day. He connected with every one of my girls that sat in his make up chair and gave them exactly what they wanted. No matter if the girls usually wore a face full of make up or absolutely no make up at all, he made them look like themselves, only 10x better than they could imagine. I wish I had a major event to attend everyday just so I could get the chance to keep working with Aaron. Aaron is so talented and made my wedding day even more special! When looking for a makeup artist I came across the Brideface Richmond page on The Knot.com. I was so impressed with all of Aaron's reviews and I really enjoyed reading his blog. Soon after that, I gave him a call and knew he was going to be great from the first minute. Aaron is so great to talk to and he was very professional!! I went to his studio for my consultation, which was fabulous!! We communicated several times the week of the wedding, which made me feel so at ease. From the moment he arrived the day of the wedding ALL of my bridesmaids were in love with him! They said that they had never felt more beautiful than they did that day! My makeup was perfect and looked so flawless the entire night! I can't say enough good things about Aaron and Brideface Richmond!

The one glam thing I wanted to do for my wedding posse was to have professional make-up for everyone to look like the best version of ourselves. We were investing in our photographer, and I wanted to make sure that our bridesmaids and our mothers looked and felt as beautiful as I see them, especially in our photos. I am so happy to have found Aaron Ellerbrock and BRIDEface Richmond – and Virginia/DC/Maryland is so lucky to have him in our area. Aaron is wonderful to work with – I was immediately comfortable with him, and trusted him to achieve what I was looking for to give my favorite people in the world something to shine. We had great conversations – what I wanted, what I wanted to avoid, what he thought would work for our outdoor/indoor venue. Aaron with BRIDEface did a wonderful job at my wedding. Aaron was great to work with- after my test run we talked about the things I didn't like and he worked with and my needs and suggestions. He was very flexible and I ended up using him for my bridal portrait and wedding. He also did the makeup for my brides maids and my mom, all of whom looked awesome. Loved the makeup and especially enjoyed working with Aaron. Highly recommended!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Aaron for the big day. He is kind, courteous, and extremely talented. He strikes an excellent balance between classic and glamour. He reads his clients' needs and desires quite well, making sure to work within the comfort level of the bride while guiding her to the next level of glam. I am an odd bird - I'm a performer, but I'm dreadfully conservative with make-up. He set me straight, made me comfortable and beautiful! Not only would I recommend him to others, but I plan on using him for upcoming performances and events.

I had a challenge for Aaron. My ceremony was outside during the day and transitioned to a more intimate indoor setting lit by Christmas lights and candles. Aaron helped me make choices based on these two very different lighting environments.
I hired Aaron to be with me the whole day because I know that I am a crier! Aaron was with me after the ceremony to touch-up my makeup for the photographs. He helped me after the Father/Daughter dance and erased the cake that was gently smeared on my face.
I felt so beautiful all day. He was very professional and I trusted him completely when he offered suggestions for my makeup.

I was beyond impressed with Aaron from the minute I saw him working. Our first wedding together was in April 2012 and he was a joy to be around - he knows how to keep the bride calm and happy if she's a bit stressed, he gets along great with everyone in the room, and best of all he's a master at his craft.
