Brides Against Breast Cancer

I attended the October BABC event in Beaverton, Oregon. The volunteers were incredibly helpful and encouraging, even though I was in a "mood" when I first arrived. Their persistence and lovely attitudes resulted in me digging, digging, digging, and FINDING the PERFECT dress. I didn't think it was possible! LOVED it...and, there was a great seamstress there, whom I hired to do the alterations. KUDOS--this is the place! Also, they have veils, shoes and other accessories available at a fraction of the place you'd pay in a bridal boutique...I love a bargain, but only if it means that I'm still getting exactly what I want--this was the case with this event. AND the proceeds go to breast cancer research...is there anything else you need to know??? Yea!
