Brides of France gave me the dress of my DREAMS! Everything about this store is boutique glamour, with the comfort of knowledgeable associates (shout out to Kim!), and, of course -- GORGEOUS DRESSES! My dress was perfect and Kim measured me so when it came it fit me to a T -- all I had to do was get it hemmed!! Absolutely fabulous. The prices reflect the quality of the dresses, but I would absolutely consider them budget friendly. GO HERE!

So many times did I watch "Say Yes to the Dress" where a bride picks the first gown she tried on. Did I ever think it would be me??? No!. But to my big surprise, Bride's of France was the first store that I went to and the only one that carried my dress (La Sposa-Laurel). After I left the store, I went to every single store in MN that sold wedding gowns, and tried over 30 dresses. Only to find that this whole time, the only dress that I wanted was the first dress I tried on at Brides of France.

I love my gown that I got from Brides of France. I am a person who really hates to have to go in and pick things out as I seem to never be able to find what I am looking for and also I seem to always pick out the wrong things. But as soon as I walked into Brides of France I was assisted by a bridal representative by the company who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. The dress is absolutely magnificent and very precious. I could of never found what I was looking for without the help of Brides of France.

Found my perfect dress at the Uptown location, but wasn't too impressed with the service there. Service at the Edina location was much more professional and helpful.

This was where my mother, maid of honor, and I got my dress. What I liked was how simple the entire process was. I think that all three of us have a good idea of what looks good on our body, and I think we all wanted something that was more elegant and demure. My mother had set up the meeting, and I was the first person who chose a dress, really simple, and the maid of honor got a similar but shorter version. My mother was really great, and she got a dress that had a shawl on top rather than a jacket, which was great for summer. This is a great store, with great selection, and a really professional staff that know what they're doing and they don't try to change you.

I love my dress. Brides of France is the only local shop to carry the La Sposa brand that I fell in love with. But my experiences at the store seemed to differ depending on who was working on a given day. Some of the staff was very warm and welcoming and some were a bit more standoffish and seemed almost uninterested. Sometimes I felt like it was fun to shop there and the staff really wanted me to try on some dresses, and sometimes the staff scolded me for mishandling the dresses and I felt like I was rushed out of the store.
I felt that the prices were competitive and I was able to order my dress during a special and receive 5% off. I thought that the seamstress that works with their store did an awesome job (really awesome, actually), but she was so expensive. Alterations increased the price of my dress by upwards of $400. If I had known about the price of the seamstress beforehand, I may have gone somewhere else for alterations.
Overall, I have been pleased with the quality of my dress and the quality of the alterations, so I think it was worth the price tag.

if you are looking for like a vintage look then this is the place for you. They do offer the avlon catalogs but they also have this other little section that is like a thrift store, where you can buy unique pieces.
