Reviews for Broadway Paper
We purchased most of the decorations and party favors from Broadway Paper in Milwaukee. This was one of the stores that we visited when we went looking for invitations. They have lots of paper supplies here for name cards and small table decorations. It was easy for us to find paper decoration supplies that matched the invitations we bought elsewhere. Krsytal almost signed up for a class that they hold on paper decorations, but she was never able to make time.
This was where we bought the place cards for the seating arrangements for the wedding day, along with matching programs. They have such a cute and colorful selection of wedding cards and favors, and I got really great ideas from Tracie (the owner who always happened to be in the store when I was there). We had small boxes made as a thank you gift for all our guests, and it looked like we had a table covered in small paper flowers. It really added color to the wedding day! We got lots of great compliments, and it was great!
I went to a wedding kit seminar at Broadway Paper, where I learned about the different trends in wedding invitations and other things. This was really helpful, and I got lots of good ideas. The seminar is also really short, and it's in the morning, so it doesn't take up a whole day.
This was expensive, considering I only needed 50 invitations. But these 50 invitations would be going out to friends and family members that I loved, and I wanted to have something beautiful and unique for them to look at. I think my favorite part was that they hold Bridal Seminars, which means that I was able to go in on a Saturday and learn lots of cute ideas about wedding invitations, name tags, seating charts, and decorations. I like the ideas for centerpieces, because this was one thing I was worried about. I got the supplies for the cards, and I was able to make 50 beautiful invitations on elegant paper. I also got to meet and speak with lots of other brides in the area, and exchange ideas with them. In all, I like this store a lot, and I know I will go visit the store again.
I am giving Broadway Paper five stars because I was able to get so many good ideas for wedding favors and decoration ideas! I went once with my mother, and then the second time with my fiancé. It was my fiancé and I who finally decided on a certain set, which were a bit more expensive than we wanted to spend but we really liked the impression that the cards would give. The quality is great, and there are so many different ways to customize the cards. I really loved the owner being there to offer us advice, too. You can tell the people who work there love what they do.
Broadway Papers has an excellent selection of stationery to choose from. I really like being able to give my guests creative and original invitation and save-the-date cards, and I think the staff is amazing at helping anyone (especially someone like me that lacks a natural creative side) come up with a theme that is just perfect. We were able to come up with a very classy Christmas wedding invitation cards, seating charts, gifts, etc. Working with them, we were able to come up with a whole wedding package, and I loved working with Tracie and her amazing staff. I think we saved so much time and energy by going straight to Tracie and Broadway Paper.
I really loved this part of my wedding preparation. We had all the paper parts of our wedding taken care of here, from save the date cards to invitations, and to seating cards. I thought this was the most amazing store I have ever been into in Milwaukee! The owner has so many good ideas. I attended one of her workshops, which gave me lots of good ideas. I liked buying my cards from Broadway because it was supporting the local business sector: I knew I could buy cards online, but I like to invest my money into Milwaukee when I can. Also, you get so many ideas when walking through the door. I would have loved to have gotten my gift boxes from here, too, but I thought that it would have been a shame to see them (or think of them) being thrown out after the party.
