I wish that I could rate Brockington Hall higher than five stars, because it just doesn't do them justice. Lee & Melissa Mundell are two of the nicest, most flexible, most accommodating people that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The venue is easily the most beautiful venue in Savannah (as many of my guests and other vendors have confirmed) and the value is simply unbelievable. We even made a comment that the Mundells could and should charge considerably more.
We held our reception following an outdoor ceremony with a seated dinner for about 65 guests at Brockington Hall. We also had a DJ and dance floor in the ballroom. It was beautiful and was a great fit. My guests and family members have not stopped raving about how gorgeous the venue was and several have asked if they could get more information to host their own reception in the future. Lee & Melissa Mundell did all they could to make our day go smoothly, allowing us to set up/tear down before and after the reception date and providing a room for the bridesmaids to get ready in. During the event, Mrs. Mundell even ran to the store and purchased additional champagne glasses when it was clear we would not have enough. (Side note: Mary (an employee of Brockington Hall) is super friendly and helpful!!! Thanks so much to her as well)
I just can't say enough good things about this venue or the fabulous owners and employees who work there. By far the best experience I've had with any vendor, bar none. As a bride that was planning a destination wedding, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I thought this amazing venue would be out of my price range but it was very affordable. The pictures cannot do this place justice, our families were amazed. We had our reception here and it was a back-up rain location for our outdoor ceremony. We had the Savannah Stompers Jazz Band in their ballroom. Everyone was raving about how much fun it was and how cool the location is. This place is a diamond in the rough, Melissa and Lee were so sweet and we hired Mary to handle the day-of wedding details, she did a phenomenal job! We rented 2 rooms on location for the weekend, it made everything so easy. Thank you all for a beautiful wedding.

The event space was beautiful! We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was wonderful. Our guests loved walking through the home and seeing all of it's history. The historic home offers many beautiful photo ops and backdrops. The Mundells were great hosts!

Mr. & Mrs. Mundell were absolutely fantastic and so accommodating. My husband and I had our wedding reception at Brockington Hall just a couple weeks ago in mid February. It couldn't have been more perfect. Our theme was 'backyard vintage' and it fit the part! We accommodated approximately 60 guests. Tables were set up picnic style in the ballroom and still allowed for a fairly large dance floor area as well. Our buffet stye food was catered by Paula Deen and set up in the formal dining room. There is an empty room off the main hall way that we used to showcase our unique cake table and coffee bar! The room had an elaborate fire place and chandelier, and looked just beautiful! The library was used for the bar and acted as a great social location, as it is just between the main ballroom and dining room area. Our guests loved Brockington Hall and all of its beauty. The Italianate Mansion was the perfect choice and you will not be disappointed in the venue or with Mr. & Mrs. Mundell. Their professionalism is on point! Thanks again!

The owners were wonderful throughout my entire wedding planning process, they allowed us to come visit the site multiple times. We only had room to seat about 90 people but had 130 guests, however we did not have a sit down meal so there was not a problem with the lack of space to seat all of our guests. The owners live on site, therefore they are very accomodating with when you can have your rentals in and out. Would definitely plan an event with them in the future.

We used this venue for our reception and it was amazing! Such a great place for a Savannah wedding. I have lived in Savannah for almost 8 years now and have seen so many beach weddings and park weddings, and although adorable, I wanted something a little bit more. The location is great - just a block east of Forsyth Park, so everyone knows how to find it. My wedding party was a little over 100, and I was honestly a bit concerned initially about fitting everyone in, but the owners (a wonderful and forever patient couple!) insisted that my group would fit perfectly - and it did! They've done this enough so they know what will work and what won't. I was also concerned about parking as my wedding day was also the same day (& time) of the Savannah Jazz Festival which makes Forsyth Park packed and therefore difficult to find parking, but no one seemed to have a problem at my wedding. Haven't heard a peep about it.
I didn't have a wedding planner so I was worried that I might be too much of a headache for them, but they were very helpful with last-miute things (can I recommend getting a planner? at least for the day of? it would have taken a lot off my plate!). The layout of the floor that we used for the reception isn't exactly typical of a reception as it's not just one huge open room, but there is a large room that we fit 4 5' round tables in, and still had enough room for dancing, a 4-piece band, and the cake table. Having the other rooms were great so that people weren't blasted away by the music when they were trying to eat, but the floor plan is also open enough so that they don't feel left out of the action. There is also a piano in one of the front rooms that they let us use so my cousins could play a song for us when the band was on break.
Additionally, the house is so beautiful and provided such a charming backgroundfor photos that I really had to do vey little decorating! I am still getting compliments on the venue a month later and highly recommend.

My daughter found this venue for her wedding and reception listed on a wedding website. I met with the owner, Mr. Lee Mundell, at his beautiful home called Brockington Hall, a lovely Italianate mansion located on a picture-perfect street in the Victorian section of Savannah, Georgia. We used the first floor parlor for the wedding and the reception was held in the ballroom. The elegant interior of high ceilings, beautiful antiques, huge mirrors, and period furniture lent itself perfectly for our daughter's wedding and made for some gorgeous wedding pictures. We were able to do with minimal floral arrangements because the beauty of the house made such a lively statement as it was. I loved working with both Lee and his wife Melissa and found them to be extremely gracious. I highly recommend this venue for any kind of event where one wants to project a feeling of Southern hospitality and charm.

This venue is gorgeous. Old world charm and sophistication....
Everything went smoothly.Our wedding was about 100 peopole and we managed to have a sit down formal meal. We also had a band in the back ballroom. My only note would be to talk to venue owners before hand about their flexibility for moving furniture, etc so you know you can have it exactly how you want on your day.
All my guests loved the venue--- it really was perfect and was oozing character.

This bride was stunningly beautiful, and we thought her reception was fabulous! We have been delighted to use many photos of her and her reception in our listings. So we are so sorry to learn that she was hoping to have greater flexibility in altering the placement of our furniture. Only having been open for six months at that time, we had not received such requests before but we now have a list indicating which items can be moved. We look forward to working with others to accommodate special requests and make each event a complete success.

This is an elegant and beautifully furnished venue which we used for my daughter's wedding reception in October 2011. The owners were easy to work with and very flexible. The house has many rooms which can be used for tables, etc., but the ballroom is fairly small, so cannot accomodate a very large number of people at once. It worked great for our wedding, as people tended to spread out and enjoy the entire house. Brockington Hall was within walking distance of Whitefield Square, which is where the wedding ceremony was performed, and also a short walk from some of Savannah's nicer hotels. It was a gorgeous place for a lovely reception!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Brockington Hall, and it was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this venue or Melissa and Lee (the owners). Brockington Hall is exactly what you envision with you think of a historic Savannah home. A large, beautiful porch, gorgeous chandeliers hanging in every room, and lovely décor throughout, it is picture perfect.
Even though we had a rental company set-up for our event, Melissa was there to ensure that everything was perfect and even provided some last minute additions like missing tablecloths, tables and chairs. The set-up was perfect- we had a slideshow and dinner in the back room and used the front room for dancing with a piano player. I may be biased, but it was honestly the most beautiful and fun rehearsal dinner that I’ve ever been to (and heard the same feedback from my guests). It was everything I had hoped for and more, and I can’t thank Brockington Hall enough for being so easy to work with and so wonderful to us. We will never forget it!!

You have to see this Venue to believe it. Brockington Hall is breathtaking from the entrance to the beautiful rooms throughout the house. These guys will make your reception something that you will never forget.

Great event site!
There are a lot of beautiful properties for weddings in Savannah, but none as affordably beautiful as Brockington Hall. The venue is close to Forsyth Park, allowing for a great variety of photography opportunities in addition to those at their beautiful property.
Lee and Melissa are wonderful and accommodating with their brides and guests.
Brockington Hall is a gorgeous family home turned venue full of history and southern charm. The owners are the friendliest you'll come by - very helpful and accommodating. Its the perfect venue for the whole day - getting ready, ceremony, reception and you can even stay there overnight! I highly recommend!!
About Brockington Hall Event Venue and Inn
Brockington Hall Event Venue and Inn has a 4,000 sq. ft. event venue on the parlor floor of an historic home on one of the most beautiful streets in Savannah's Historic District. In addition to the sheer beauty of its architecture, the elegantly-appointed space has 14-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers and sconces, marble mantles, hardwood floors, oriental rugs, and antiques.
We are just a block from Savannah's famous Forsyth Park, and near to many of Savannah's beautiful squares and indoor ceremony sites. In addition to our indoor space, we have a front porch that is 10 ft. by 40 ft., and can accommodate two bars plus a number of "high-top" or seated tables. It has a view of the tree-lined, brick-paved street in front and of other lovely historic homes.
Because the features of the space are so lovely, you may find you do not wish to spend as much on decorations as you might in other spaces. The pale palette of our color scheme lets you "paint" your own colors for your event with flowers and favors that suit your taste and theme.
The venue rooms include a formal drawing room and dining room, a library, a ballroom, three sittings rooms, and a central hall, as shown in the floor plan on our website. You can assign uses and activities to the rooms to suit your taste, allowing your guests to mingle in different settings. We have an elevator which can be used by your vendors and by any guests who need or prefer that assistance.
We do not restrict your choice of vendors, and because we do not provide catering or drink service, there are no minimum purchase requirements. You are free to purchase and serve alcohol, and to take with you what you do not use.
The capacity depends upon how you choose to allocate the space between dancing, food service, and seating.
Rental of our venue gives you access for the whole day, and it includes one free night in our Inn, which can be seen on VRBO.com, property # 393844.
Our rental rate depends upon the day of week and the number of guests, with a current maximum of $2,000 for a Saturday night and lower rates for other nights and for small events.
Our venue is perfect for wedding receptions, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, birthday parties, catered luncheons and dinners, and for any gathering for which an elegant background is sought.

We do not limit your choice of vendors. You choose your vendors and how much you wish to pay for each service, such as catering and alcohol and/or bartending.
We do not have packages. We rent the space and you choose your vendors.
Unlike multi-service venues, we do not require you to buy additional services from us such as catering and alcohol/bartending. This allows you to shop for the vendors you want and the prices you wish to pay.
