Brooke was easy to work with. She made us feel comfortable and directed things well. The pictures are great as is the slide show.

We were very unhappy with our wedding photo experience. The nightmare began with our engagement photos. This was our first time taking engagement photos and so we thought our professional photographer would be able to tell us how to pose for natural looking pictures. We did not receive guidance from Brooke on how to pose and for the most part, our pictures looked like "deer caught in headlights." Furthermore, the photo shoot was only about 30-40 minutes long when I was under the impression it would be an hour long photo shoot. When we received the pictures, there really weren't that many different poses or backdrops either. We expressed our disappointment and she came out a second time to take our photos. However, we had to literally go find poses we like and imitate each one exactly. This is absurd considering she is the expert -- we essentially did the work for her! And we weren't expecting to look like celebrities; we just wanted natural looking candid pictures.

With that in mind, we gave Brooke SPECIFIC instructions to take our wedding pictures, with an emphasis on taking candid and group photos of our immediate family. We had emailed her the list several times and mentioned it again in person. When we received our pictures, there were hardly any candid photos of our family. There were hardly any photos of them, period! Even though we specifically asked her to take pictures of these very important people. They were on our MUST HAVE list. We paid for a service, and yet, she did not deliver. Especially when we had provided specific instructions on who to take pictures of!! To make matters worse, it took 6 weeks before we could even see any of the photos. I do not recommend Brooke Bready Photography to anyone.

Brooke was such an awesome photographer. As soon as she arrived she started snapping away! She is so friendly and easy to be around. Everyone at our wedding could not stop saying good things about her. She was so good about getting the shots that were most important to you. She also did our engagement photos so I know our wedding photos will turn out beautiful. I recommend Brooke Bready Photography to any Bride!

Some good friends recommended that we use Brooke, who had photographed both their engagement and their wedding. Brooke did an outstanding job -- she has a great eye, and her photos were stunning. She was even willing to travel from the DC area to the Philadelphia area, where the wedding took place. She was always cheerful and upbeat, despite bad weather, and she was a great pleasure to work with. In particular, even with travel costs, her services were a great value! In short, we would highly recommend Brooke for weddings or any special occasion!

I hired Brooke for my wedding after seeing her Web site. Brooke takes great photos, that can't be disputed. She is down to earth and easy to work with. Her pricing for our wedding was very reasonable and I secured the reprint rights, which IMO are the holy grail.

I was mostly pleased with the photos of my wedding, with one big exception: I felt that some important shots were missed. Notably, photos of my mother (and my mother and I together) were virtually non existent. This was heartbreaking to my mother and to me. This was also true for my MOH sister, not many candid photos together of us. Also, there were no photos of our ring bearers walking down the aisle. I contacted Brooke after receiving the photos to make her aware of this and see if she had anything else that didn't make the editing cut that she could send to fill this hole, but Brooke never responded to my email.

While I know it is impossible for one photographer to catch every moment at a wedding, I do think it might be reasonable to rely on their professional instincts to make sure that important shots are prompted, such as mother daughter ones. As a bride, it is hard to know who is being photographed and who isn't and really isn't something that you should have to worry about.

While the individual photos of my wedding are all gorgeous, and there are many that I have proudly displayed in my home, I'm somewhat sad when I sit down to look through my scrapbook and notice that my mother and sister are noticeably absent from the photos.

So, beautiful photos, yes, but some unfortunate oversights. I would recommend for family portraits etc., but based on my experience I just couldn't honestly recommend for...

Brooke added so much to our special day! She is truly an expert while at the same time taking your wishes into account. Brooke is an amazing photographer- organized but laid back enough to put you at ease. Our family summed it up best by saying she was everywhere and nowhere all at once-- she is there to capture every memorable or quirky photo but completely unobtrusive or noticeable as you enjoy the party. Brooke took our engagement photos and our wedding photos and the pictures are priceless! I would definitely recommend her to any bride!

Brooke photographed my bridal shower, engagement shoot, wedding and trash the dress. She's very talented and a great value. She's also flexible, which I really appreciate and which is rare in the wedding business. I never felt uncomfortable, and she's totally approachable.

Brooke was supportive through the process. And during the ceremony, she stayed low key but constantly working and instinctively getting in the best position for unforgettable images. Even our guests could see the professionalism and commented that we were certainly going to have great photos. We also received some unexpected and great surprises such as a video of changing photos - set to music played at the wedding reception. Really great - highly recommended. Did I mention how patient she was?

Brooke is phenomenal; not just as a photographer but as an artist. My husband and I were so fortunate to find her for our engagement photos (where she magically made us both look like models-- not an easy feat especially since I didn't have time to do my makeup and I was sweating in the summer heat!). We were so HAPPY with her results, that we didn't even consider another photographer for our wedding. My family and friends were WOWED with the photos and my Dad kept saying, "Brooke is an artist!" Brooke was professional from beginning to end; showing up early, spending the entire day with us (not a set number of hours like some photographers), and making us feel so comfortable that we didn't even realize she was snapping shots. Brooke even REDID my wedding photos to photo shop out some embarrassing bustier issues... a total godsend. (Thank you Brooke!) If you want magazine quality photos for a fraction of the price, don't hesitate to have Brooke do your portfolio. You will NOT be disappointed and I guarantee you will have beautiful shots to enjoy for a lifetime.

Brook was so amazing to work with. She did an beautiful job and the pictures were more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. She has such a creative eye. We were working with a tight budget and she was able to accommodate us. We could not be happier. I highly recommend Brook!

Brooke is a wonderful photographer, she is very friendly and professional. On my wedding day, she came a bit early and captured lots of beautiful details which I even didn't notice. After the wedding, my edited photographs were ready just only in 2 weeks. I'm quite satisfied with the quality of her work and if I ever need a photographer again I'd definitely work with her.

Brooke was amazing. She was easy to get along with and everyone in the bridal party really liked working with her. Brooke was everything and anything I could have hoped for in a photographer. She made us feel very comfortable, especially for two people who are camera shy! The engagement session was perfect and she used the locale greatly. The pre-wedding, wedding, and reception photos were also SPECTACULAR! She has a gift for capturing the special moments, rather than just taking the boring, posed pictures. She was excellent to work with and I would recommend her to anyone getting married!
