Karen was very good to work with before my wedding day. She was responsive to all my emails where I had given her multiple pictures of what I wanted my flowers to look like. The flowers were the most important part of the wedding for me so I really looked forward to seeing how beautiful they would turn out. Unfortunately I was extrememly disappointed with my bouquets- the table arrangements looked pretty good although I thought they were quite small. The bridesmaid's bouquet and my bridal boquet however looked like someone threw the flowers together in a hurry- flowers were sticking out all over randomly with no rhyme or reason. I was also very disappointed with the amount of flowers in the bouquets. For my bridal bouquet, I had asked for a few white dahlias and lots of purple stock and lisianthus as well as lots of green mini hydrangeas. What I received on my wedding day included only 2-3 small pieces of hydrangeas and a handful of stock and lisianthus and the rest were lots of white dahlias. It may seem like a very trival thing to complain about but I was highly disappointed since the flowers and specifically my bouquet were what I cared about the most for my wedding and I had been so specific in making sure Karen understood what I wanted. Instead of being satisfied with the bridal bouquet I paid $165 for, I was cutting out flowers that were sticking out randomly and cutting out some white dahlias to try my best to acheive the look I was going for. Unfortunately even with cutting out some flowers I was still highly disappointed in my bouquet.

Using Brown's Florist for my daughter's wedding was such a fantastic experience! Karen was always available to answer questions and worked very closely with me in planning the floral arrangements...even after the bride changed up her floral wishes at the last minute! Such a pleasant shop and friendly staff! The guests at the wedding just "raved" over how beautiful the cobalt blue vases and sunflowers were! All the special touches and the simplicity that the Bride desired were fulfilled! Beautiful bouquets! The presentation of the sunflowers on the ceremony arch was just perfect!

Brown's Floral Design, Inc. was always where I went when I lived in North Carolina for my floral needs. They do a fantastic job and I knew they wouldn't do anything less for my wedding. My flowers were extremely simple, but the few things that they did for me were absolutely beautiful and I was more than pleased. My bouquet was exactly what I expected. I also had a halo made for my walk down the aisle, and mostly left it up to Karen and the team to use their best judgement for what they thought would be most appropriate. They used an orchid and when I received the halo on my wedding day, I couldn't have been more excited. It was the most gorgeous thing I had ever seen. Whether you are picky or willing to leave the major decisions to the experts, Brown's is the way to go.

Created arrangements and bouquets that were perfect and beyond what I ever imagined. She even arranged our flowers for our outdoor wedding in the rain-on time-without a flaw. I am the mother of the bride and flowers were at the top of my daughter's list for knowing exactly what she wanted and being important. Karen and her staff were amazing. We had a consultation with Karen; Cindy told her the colors and had some pictures that were "kind of" what she liked. Karen showed her some flowers and colors to give her options and we left Karen that day feeling like she "got it", as Cindy would say. Well did she "get it"! The flowers were beautiful! I do not know where to start with this one!!! Karen is incredible. I had no clue what I wanted when it came to my flowers but Karen will helped guide me and helped me in the process. Karen and I probably talked for almost a year straight and I am not exaggerating. She was so responsive, welcoming and kind. When I saw the flowers I just started to cry because they were so perfect. Brown's Floral Design made our bouquets and boutonnieres for our August 20 wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. The boutonnieres were exactly what I had pictured, and complemented the colors in the suits so well. My bouquet was exquisite, and I received so many compliments throughout the night on the arrangement. It was even better than I imagined it would look! Very easy to work with even though I was located out of town. They were always helpful, and didn't mind spending as much time as was needed to work out the details.

I have worked for the past six years in Washington, DC as a nonprofit arts fundraiser and have managed many events, from picking out tablecloths to designing a theme for floral arrangements. I found Karen and her team at Browns Floral Design to be as responsive and professional (if not more so) as any of those I have worked with in the "big" city.

My daughter had her wedding outdooors in Weaverville and Brown's Floral did all the decorating, flowers, etc. Everything was perfect. The people there were wonderful to work with, always responding to emails, and coming up with great ideas. They connected us with a local potter who made bowls for the centerpieces. Brown's Floral really made the wedding a very special event in every way.

I loved my bouquet, and Brown's was fun to work with. But the day of the wedding they told us we had to pick them up before the time we'd planned to, which was a bit of a hassle.

Karen gave us so much personal attention both during our planning stages and on the day of the ceremony. Her great personality and her warmth made her a delight to work with. She was always prompt with phone calls and emails, even when I know she was jugglging several other events. She was creative in her suggestions (floating wreaths with votives for the pond, and a gorgeous garland covering the wedding arch) and worked to help us stay within our budget. Our guests raved about the flowers, especially the combination of flowers/greenery and the vibrant fall colors she used. My daughter said she couldn't bear to watch her bouquet wither away, so we're having it preserved. That's just how much we loved the flowers! Working with Karen and Brown's Floral was a pleasure!
