Captain Dee of Bucks County Trolley Company is the main point of contact and the owner. Expect a few days delay after your initial email query so try calling instead. You'll probably have to leave a message but he will get back to you! We made the decision to book very late in the game, since we had guests spread out across five hotels/inns and were working out details about three weeks before the wedding. Graciously, Dee put us on the schedule and we signed the contract.I'm so glad we booked a trolley for the 1740 House and Black Bass guests because River Road gets extremely dark at night and in late December, it can be icy. Luckily, we didn't have to worry at all with our wonderful driver, Larry. He went over the schedule I had created in detail the day before the wedding, gave me his cell phone number and made sure I was OK with the tight time frame. So the last trolley was a bit delayed getting to the ceremony...so what? We knew that was a possibility but we had other guests who drove themselves arriving literally as I was walking down the aisle so you have to take it all with a grain of salt. Didn't phase this bride one bit.Larry was so sweet! Clearly he knows everyone at Holly Hedge very well and would bend over backwards to accommodate guests. He got there early at the end of the night so he could check in on the reception before taking people back for the first run and boy, did he have to put up with one rowdy bridal party on the final trolley. (We're sorry for the school bus songs, Larry.) Bucks County Trolley was professional, low-key, and very retro-cool. Guests loved the antique touch almost as much as they loved being able to party without worrying about getting back safely. They aren't the most budget-conscious option but you'd be hard pressed to find anything more affordable in Bucks County. They were worth every penny. They work frequently with Holly Hedge so we highly recommend going with them if you're in the New Hope/Doylestown area. You'll be in good hands.

Our driver was a joy! He was very professional and went beyond making sure everyone got in and out of the trolley okay. He got to my house early which gave us time to take some pictures with the trolley before heading to the church. And then he waited around at the reception site for us to take some pictures there as well!The communication in setting up everything was very nerve racking. We had to call several times before finally getting responses to confirm everything. It would have been nice to not have to worry about such an important element of that day. Overall, once we had everything in order it went very well and we had a ton of fun on the trolley! Our pictures have turned out great with it as a prop!

For our wedding, we struck gold by deciding to go with the Bucks County Trolley Company. Dee, the owner (and--by chance-- also our driver) was great! He conducted the business side of things in a very professional way that allowed us the peace-of-mind to know that everything was taken care of. The rate was very affordable and yet there was no sacrifice of quality. When Dee showed up as the driver, he provided exceptional service and made the whole experience classy, elegant and unique. One of my concerns going into the day was that we would hit traffic and our timing would get thrown off. Dee showed up a little early and made sure all of our worries were put to rest. As per Dee's suggestions, timing was perfect and everything went great!In our wedding party, we had ten groomsmen and ten bridesmaids. The trolley option allowed easy transportation to the chapel before the ceremony for both groups, and a party atmosphere after the ceremony with all 22 of us together. Every single person in the wedding party commented on how much fun the trolley ride was. It was a great way for all of our closest friends to spend some time together and really live it up between the wedding the reception! The trolley also provided a great backdrop for some of our pictures outside of the chapel and around town. There's even a "politician's pulpit" (I think that's what it's called) on the back of the trolley that is great for pictures. I can't think of a better way to transport as many people as we had. The number of people who commented on the trolley throughout the night was incredible! I can't say enough about the time we had and one of my best memories of the night was on the trolley ride after the ceremony. You choose your music--hook up and ipod or use satellite. The ambience in the trolley in the evening is unbelievable and the driver/owner was top-notch. If you're looking for a way to add a classic twist or some flare to your wedding, this trolley company is the way to go.

My husband and I were so fortunate and happy to have been able to have Bucks County Trolley as our transportation service. We had priced several limo companies in our area and found them to be rather expensive for just three hours of service. We decided to branch out from limos and see what else was offered and came across this very local trolley company. For eight hours of service we paid just as much as we would have for a limo and not only did it act as transportation for myself and my bridal party, during the reception it acted as a shuttle to and from the hotel for guests who wanted to take advantage of the open bar.The trolley arrived early, which allowed for plenty of time for photos and got us to the church in great time. It was clean and the driver was a sweetheart. He helped me and my voluminous dress in and out of the trolley and always had a smile. Getting the trolley over the limo was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process and it was well worth the price!

Our driver, Larry Hackett, was so nice and friendly!!!! He had such a fun time with us and made everyone feel so comfortable! The trolley was beautiful!!!!

Larry was AMAZING!!! We could not have picked a better driver! Not only was he early, but he got us everywhere on time, helped everyone line up at the church and of course posed for some pictures with the bride and groom. Thank you so much for all your help! Pricing was great too. We compared a bunch of trolley companies and Bucks was the only one that gave us a low flat rate that included, gas, tolls, miles, etc. All the others wanted to charge us on top of the flat rate! Thanks for keeping things honest and running a wonderful company! We will definitely be recommending you to friends and family!

We were fortunate enough to choose Bucks County Trolley for our wedding transportation needs on Sept 23, 2011. Captain Dee met and exceeded every one of our expectations. They were prompt, courteous and available to accommodate our circumstances. The trolley was immaculate and very tastefully appointed. . The weather on that day consisted of heavy rains. Therefore, the trolley also became a staging facility for the wedding photography. Our photographer utilized the inside and back platform of the trolley for numerous photo shots which are amazing The trolley is in absolute perfect restoration. Wedding music piped into the trolley allowed for an elegant romantic setting. Our driver was extremely helpful and courteous and was indeed an intricate part of the event. He relocated the trolley on numerous times to accommodate picture taking needs. He also made an additional stop after the reception on a separate request. As parents, we lived in the Bucks County area all of our lives and never had the opportunity of enjoying a ride in this unique mode of transportation. I recently used Bucks County Trolley Company for my wedding on 9/17/11. We originally were going to rent a limo since we paid for the wedding on our own but we really wanted our family to come along with us and the 8 passenger limo we looked at just wouldn't cut it. We got the 22 passenger trolley which was beautifully decorated.We had our driver pick some of us at the reception hall and drive us to the ceremony location. We got married in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia near the art museum. After the ceremony, we headed to Belmont Plateau, Philly Art Museum, Love Park and City Hall then back to the reception hall. Our driver was great navigating the city and stopping at our picture locations in busy city traffic. Captain Dee was very professional and helpful. The trolley was a hit with friends and family and really made the day so much more fun.

We wanted a trolley for our wedding due to the number of people we had in our wedding party (7 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen). We were very pleased with Buck's County Trolley Co. Dee was our contact person and he was easy to talk to and reliable. Larry was our driver and he was great! He was fun and has a great and easy-to-talk to personality. One of my bridesmaids recommended Buck's and I'm so glad we chose them to be part of our wedding day.

We used Bucks County Trolley to transport our guests from the Holiday Inn in Clinton NJ to our home in Upper Black Eddy PA. Captain Dee was so helpful in arranging all of the details and was particularly accommodating about providing transportation across state lines between New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I felt like my guests were in great hands and we didn't worry about them at all! The driver came out to our home the night before to make sure that he was familiar with the location. Our guests loved the trolley, too, and thought it was very special!

I was so excited to have a trolley be the transportation for my wedding party! It was very fun to ride and we got some wonderful pictures. It was also definitely a highlight for my flower girl! The only downside was that the day was hot and it took awhile for the trolley to cool down. My only advice is to ask to have the trolley’s air conditioning turned on a few minutes before everyone boards.

Bucks County Trolley Co. was comparable in price to some other trolley companies but I chose them because of their personalized customer service. Capt. Dee was very professional and responsive. Our driver, Larry, was awesome!

Using Bucks County Trolley Company for the Bridal Party Transportation was one of the best decisions we made for our daughter's wedding! Captain Dee was professional and a delight to work with. Our driver was very accommodating and at the beginning of the reception he even took photos for all our guests who wanted a picture with the trolley. As half of our guest were from out to town having a trolley added such a fun local touch to the wedding. We had a huge bridal party 25+ and it was nice that they could all be transported together during the festivities. One of our favorite and most spontaneous times of the day was when the wedding party left the church on the way to the reception and the bride and groom waved to the guests from the back platform of the trolley. Precious photos and memories! Not to mention all the photos that were taken on and around the trolley with the whole bridal party that turned out so special! My mom found Bucks County Trolley Co while looking through photos at the Country Club we were getting married at and what a find!! We used Bucks County Trolley Company for the Bridal Party Transportation and it was such a great decision. We used the trolley to transport the groomsmen and bridesmaids from place to place but then we also were able to have our +25 person bridal party travel together from the Church to the Country Club we got married at! It was so nice having everyone on board with us after we had just said those magic words at the Church! A large portion of the guests were from out of town and they absolutely loved the trolley. The colors of the trolley are professional and elegant and did not detract from the colors of the wedding (black, white and pink). We happened to get the trolley with a balcony on the back and it was so fun standing on the balcony waving goodbye to our guests after leaving the Church. The trolley made for perfect and unforgettable pictures both with the bridal party and for our guests! Captain Dee was very professional and a delight to work with and the driver was very accommodating and helpful for picture ideas, etc. Overall, such a wonderful addition to our dream wedding!!

My fiance and I were looking for a mode of transportation that would be more cost beneficial than a limo (we had called several limo companies and all were going to cost us almost $1000 just to drive each of us to the ceremony, wait and then drop us off at the reception, then for another car to come back and get us later - and not to mention, all of the driving was within 3 miles of each other). We called Captain Dee at BCTC and the prices were VERY reasonable considering the fact that the trolley we got could transport 30 people, AND as part of the package, they'd drive people back and forth an unlimited number of times (so if our grandfather wanted to go home early, he could easily just take the trolley, or my nephew wanted to take a ride on the trolley, he could do that too). We couldnt be happier with the EXCELLENT service we got by both Captain D and our driver Chris. We cant wait to try their River Boat Tour!!!

Bucks County Trolley was great. Larry, the driver was awesome. He walked across the campus of Bucks Community College to give the whole bridal party a water bottel, considering i had 14 people total in my bridal party he had his hands full. Thanks again for everything. The staff was alwasy friendly and professional and there to help.

Simply amazing service. Our limo driver was outstanding. He called me the night before the wedding to confirm and without any problem I had added another group of people to be picked up. The day of the wedding he arrived 30 minutes earlier than he had said, which was perfect. We chatted for a while until it was time to go and he was very friendly with some good stories.The trolley itself was super clean and very stylish. It was very well maintained. Not a stratch on it. At the church our driver was very helpful with opening/closing the church doors and helping the girls carrying the tails of their dresses so they would not get damaged. He took pictures for us and helped out with whatever we needed. I would highly reccommend this trolley service to anyone who needs one.

We used the Bucks County Trolley Co. for our wedding. Overall we were very pleased with their services. Our trolley driver was really great and helpful with everything. My only issue was with the responsiveness from Captain Dee - we had to follow up numerous times on our calls and emails in order to get a response which was a little frustrating. Other than that though we were very pleased with the services provided to us on our wedding day and I would recommend their services.

I had a rather large bridal party and there didn't seem to be anything besides a yellow school bus that could accommodate all my members so the trolley was a way to go. I was reluctant because I had always said I didn't want a trolley but I am SO GLAD I chose to do this. I was lucky enough to be recommended by my best friend and I rode the trolley for her wedding and LOVED every minute of it. It is a very unique and special service that I will never regret. The owner of the company is great and extremely on top of business. Any question I had he answered right away and was very pleasant to work with. Our driver was very sweet- he actually opened the door at the church for me when I was ready to walk down the aisle! He was very happy to be there for us on our wedding day and did a fabulous job navigating through Old City, Philadelphia. My now husband and I were going to our church to meet with the Cantor and Organist to select music for our wedding. On our way in, we saw a beautiful green and red trolley parked outside the church with wedding party and guests going in and out. We looked at each other and without words, we told each other that would be a cool ride for us. After our meeting with the musicians, we hurried home, to look up Bucks County Trolley. We read all the wonderful reviews from past brides and grooms. Prior to this, we had decided not to get a limousine because of how pricy it was with all the surcharges and surprise charges. We were opting to drive ourselves to save money. We called the owner of the company, Captain Dee, immediately, and informed him about our desire to have his trolley service for our wedding. He was extremely courteous and professional. Even though he was very busy (preparing trolleys for that day), he stayed on the phone with me to give us an idea about the cost involved and what a day with their trolley would look like. He was open to us visiting him to see some of the different trolley sizes. He e-mailed us the price list, which was based on the hours we would need the trolley. The prices were extremely reasonable, considering our limited budget. Even though they are based in PA, the service is offered to weddings in Princeton NJ. We booked trolley #611 because of its large capacity.On our wedding day, 10-9-10, my now husband informed me that the trolley was very punctual in picking him up at the hotel. The driver, Tom, was very warm and professional. The best man filled a cooler with champagne, water, and had a tray of snacks all set-up at the front of the trolley. Tom dropped off my husband and the groomsmen to the chapel and proceeded to my home to get me and the wedding party. It was like a scene from a movie premier (without the red carpet), watching the trolley outside of my house with a few people on my street standing outside gawking at it and waiting to see the bridal party enter. When we came outside all dressed up and ready to go, Tom was standing outside the trolley waiting to take our hands and help us in. He greeted me with the utmost warmth and professionalism. The trolley was clean and playing some nice love songs. The mood was just right. After our ceremony, Tom was waiting to get all of the wedding party and family into the trolley--it was so cool. It was like a party bus. We had the option of using the I-Pod hook-up but because the music playing was so good, we elected to stick with what was playing. We were toasted with champagne and had a blast on our way to the pictures and then reception. We really utilized the trolley in the evening when we needed multiple trips to get people back to the church to get their cars, back home, and back to the hotel where some of our guests were staying. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bucks County Trolley Company to any bride planning an ostentatious wedding or event. You will not have any worries whatsoever. They are VERY PUNCTUAL, FLEXIBLE and DEPENDABLE. Also, no limousine company can BEAT THE PRICE and SERVICE.

My new husband and I got married on 09/05 and needed a way to take our guests out and about to the bars in New Hope, PA afterwards. We had about 40 guests shuttled and extended the reception right on to the trolley. The driver was so laid back, blasted our tunes, and shuttled us around for 4 hours after. It topped our already perfect day and can't thank them enough. Dee and his staff were always responsive and bent over backwards to make our day extraordinary!

My husband and I were married oj July 17, 2010! We had a huge wedding party of 20 people, so we needed transportation that could hold that many people comfortably. We booked Bucks County Trolley Company. We went with their trolley that could hold up to 30 people! Inside was beautiful and very spacious.The outside of the trolley was very clean, ready to look great in pictures! They also had an I-Pod hookup so you could listen to whatever music you like! I loved the back of the trolley. It was like a little balcony that you can go outside on while moving! It could hold about 4 people! The trolley was exquisit inside and out! I thought it was pefect for pictures!The driver was so nice.He looked very professional AND WAS ON TIME! Even though we only booked them for 4 1/2 hours, he had no problem going above and beyond his duties and letting us stay on the trolley a little longer! They are very flexible and will work with you for whatever your needs may be. They even called me after the wedding to make sure everything went perfectly. I would recomand Bucks County Trolley company to any of my friends getting married! No problems, and thats what us brides love to hear!

We loved Bucks County Trolley! They were prompt, great price, and the drivers were courteous and professional. They had quite a task - driving on 76 from Philadelphia to Fairmount Park on a Friday at rush hour during the summer - but they got us all there on time. Beautiful air conditioned trolleys on one of the hottest days of the year was a great benefit too!

I was assured several times by Captain Dee that the air conditioning would work. Sure enough, it did not. The driver said the second air conditioning system would only kick in once the trolley got up to 50 miles per hour. This is not what Captain Dee told us. The driver was driving at 30 miles per hour on a small rode. It was extremely hot. Also, the driver was not helpful with the equipment. We could not get an IPOD or CD to work and he was useless. Captain Dee offered to comp us a river boat ride. I would never use his services again so the river boat ride did not sound appealing.

We had a trolley from Bucks County Trolley Co. for our wedding for transportation for the bridal party and the guests. They were great! We got awesome pictures in the trolley (and next to the trolley). The driver, Jeff, was very friendly and professional. He called me a couple days before the wedding to go over details and maps and he texted me the day of the wedding to let me know he was on his way. I highly recommend this service!

Our driver was on time (actually showed up a bit early at no additional cost), and was able to smoothly navigate around the detour in our area. The trolley was clean, spacious, and added a really nice touch to the wedding. Dee was really nice and easy to work with during the wedding preparation. The day of the wedding we did begin to regret selecting a trolley though because we were really uncomfortable during our 45 minute ride to the church and then later to the reception. Friends/family were sliding off of the seats and it was hard to talk to eachother. The speakers we not that great either so it was hard to relax on trolley and celebrate with everyone. Overall, the trolley looked great in pictures, was a different form of transportation and fit a large party.

We booked Bucks County Trolley for our wedding in March of 2010. Dee was extremely responsive to our messages and very flexible in working with our parameters. I was confident that everything would work out great after speaking with Dee multiple times and it did. There were no problems at all with the trolley and many of our guests commented on what a great idea it was (our wedding was all in one place but we provided a shuttle to and from the hotel). We booked with Bucks County Trolley Co. with only 10 days left before the wedding. Captain Dee was wonderful to my husband and set everything up for us. We e mailed him a copy of the schedule and our driver, Chuck, followed it perfectly. We had outdoor pictures taken before the reception and it was FREEZING OUTSIDE! Chuck was kind enough to lend my mother his coat while she waited outside in the cold. He was a pure gentleman who took great care of all of us.

We used this trolley company for our September wedding and had a wonderful time with them! Our driver was on time and very courteous... he even played it cool when one of our champagne bottles exploded all over the floor! The trolley was clean (before we got there!) and comfortable. the ipod hook up was a definitve plus, too!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SPECIAL EVENT!! We hired a trolley for our June 2009 wedding and were terribly disappointed. First of all, the air conditioner broke within 1 hour of us being on the trolley. As you can imagine, this was very uncomfortable since it was a hot day in Philadelphia. The company made no attempts to fix it! Additionally, the driver was unfriendly. He actually left the hotel with our guests and all of our photographer's equipment after he was specifically told not to leave! A guest had to run from the Cathedral to the trolley parked several blocks away and pick up the equipment. Some critical pictures were missed from the ceremony as a result! The driver refused to come back to the church to drop off the equipment.The driver would not stop in front of the reception location to drop guests off. Rather, he stopped several blockes away requiring our elderly guests to walk. Also, it took him over 1.5 hours to come back to the church to pick up the bridal party...we had to take taxis!! As a result, we missed our cocktail hour. We understand that traffic in the city can be difficult, but proper planning could have avoided most of those issues.We tried to get a partial refund of what we paid from Captain Dee at Bucks County Trolley Company. After several discussions with him, he stopped returning our phone calls. We had to go to the Better Business Bureau and we still have never received a response.The trolley company was the only negative of our entire wedding. We were extremely unhappy with the lack of professionalism of this company!!

We used Bucks County Trolley to provide us transportation to our wedding ceremony and to our reception. The driver of our trolley proceeded to drive the opposite way all the way down the other side of Philadelphia, all the way around Independence Mall when our ceremony was up past City Hall just by Love Park with all of my wedding party and my groom, causing the whole ceremony to be late and causing me to have my limo driver drive around the church 3 times waiting for the trolley to arrive. It was beyond stressful to all of those on the trolley because they kept telling him he was going the wrong way and he didn't care or listen. After all was said and done including dropping us off at the reception, he proceeded to tell my father that he never received a tip or payment for anything! Which is completely untrue because why would he have arrived that day to pick us up if we hadn't paid? I could not believe the audacity of this man for not only making my father pay double for their terrible service, but for causing my whole wedding to be late and for causing me that amount of stress on my wedding day.

We loved using this trolley company! They were prompt, friendly, and very responsive to any questions or concerns. All of our guests who took the trolley really seemed to enjoy. We thought it really added to our whole wedding day!

I did TONS of research for transportation and they were BY FAR the best bargain. The driver was so polite and accomodating. They even shuttled guests between our hotel and reception before and after the party so everyone could have the ebst time and not have to drive.
