My experience with Buttercup was very decent. I mainly had to do all of the searching by myself for the invitations I wanted but that was ok as they had a decent amount of invitations and the place was nice inside so it wasn't hard at all to browse and see what they had. It took me roughly 45 minutes but I finally found what I was looking for and the invitations were just perfect for my wedding. The staff were friendly and they did ask me what I was looking for and showed me some invitations but the big part was me just taking the time to look and find what I liked.
While the Buttercup had a fantastic inventory, the quality of work and the level of customer service was well below average in my opinion. I ordered invitations and directional cards from the Buttercup and I could have not been more unhappy with the result and the process. I created the wording for the invites and cards and gave that to them when placing my order. This could not have been easier, but for some reason, it took three separate trips to the store to proof and re-proof the work. The first proof had a blatant spelling error and the second was not even centered. I was frustrated that the store actually called me in to proof work that was obviously incomplete. Each time, the staff could not have been ruder. I recommend skipping this store. There are a lot more places in Charlotte with more competent people and better prices.
