Byrne Rock Mobile DJ Service

I was referred to Byrne by two friends who used him at their weddings. When we first met Byrne it clicked as he was really listening to our wants and needs and expressed his way of doing things without being pushy or salesy. We met with another DJ who was trying to get us to sign a contract on the spot and told us he'd play songs others would request and wasn't listening to what we were wanting. Byrne is very reasonable in price, good with communication and was at the reception on time. He played the music we wanted and took requests from our friends and definitely kept the night going. We loved it so much we paid for an extra half hour! Byrne is not the typical MC type so sometimes it was hard to hear his voice and know what we were supposed to do, but I was glad he wasn't overbearing like other DJs I've seen. I'd definitely recommend Byrne to anyone!

Byrne was great! I got compliments all night on the playlist. We sent him some songs that we did and didn't like and he played what he thought worked with the crowd and our taste. People danced ALL night!

As the mother of the bride, I was phenomenally pleased with Byrne's DJ service at Laura's wedding! I was able to simply enjoy the entire evening not having to worry with or coordinate any of the event details. Byrne kept the evening flowing and kept the guests engaged with the music selections, the appropriately-timed toasts, and special dances. I would highly recommend him to any bride looking for a DJ in whom she can have complete confidence!

Byrne DJ'd for the first part of our wedding, that is the ceremony, the cocktail, the dinner, and beginning of dancing. We had an afterparty that we take care of ourselves.
This was probably a more unusual wedding for him since there were a lot of foreigners, and a need for foreign music.
He was very good, he followed our recommendations, playing music that we liked and keeping away the tunes we did not want to hear!

DJ Byrne Rock was AWESOME!!! I recently got married 2 weeks ago and my husband and I were very pleased with his work. We chose this DJ based on the fact that he was very affordable.....when we met him for our initial meet & great, he sold us with his laid back personality, but willingness to play whatever it is we wanted him to play. He even remembered songs that we did NOT want him to play...

A week before the event, there were some last minute changes from my father (a very traditional Vietnamese man)....who wanted VIETNAMESE music to play. I was very AGAINST it....but needed to play at least some since there were older guests who would enjoy it. Byrne just asked for some CD's and played it then and there. Parents & the younger crowd (from both sides of the wedding) were all doing the cha-cha....paso-doble....waltz....worked out great!

Bryne played ALL the music we requested him to play....it was perfect. he stuck to the list we provided...and even through a few last minute requests that the hubby wanted. Great Job Byrne! i would totally hire you again...and recommend you to all my newly engaged friends!

Byrne provided us with outstanding DJ performance! He was very attentive to our needs and very laid back and go with the flow with whatever we wanted for the evening. Byrne was on time through out the entire schedule of events and there were no mistakes at all. We trusted him completely!

We looked into several DJs, and came away from our meeting with Byrne highly impressed. He's very easy-going and we never felt pressured to upgrade to more expensive packages. He asked us what kind of atmosphere we wanted him to set, asked us about specific artists/songs and delivered just that on the day-of! He obviously loves music and has a wide base of knowledge to draw from. We had everything from Frank Sinatra to Willie Nelson at different points and he transitioned seamlessly. The dancing was fantastic. Everyone had a blast and Byrne had a lot to do with that. Correspondence was always prompt and he provides a lot of bang for the buck. Highly recommended!

Byrne did an awesome job with everything at my wedding! Byrne has great taste in music and a really great ability to match the mood of the audience to make a wedding awesome. I had a pretty small wedding with a wide variety of people, and was a little worried people wouldn't be up for dancing. Byrne brought the party to life all night long with fantastic music. He played songs I wanted, no songs I didn't.

Since we didn't have a band, and I wanted songs during my ceremony, Byrne coordinated music for that also. He did a fantastic job. Everything was perfect and timed beautifully. Seriously awesome. I was really glad that I did take the extra time to plan music that was meaningful and special to me.

Byrne is awesome. He does a great job, listens to exactly what you want, provides answers and suggestions when you need them and is very well priced! I will work with him again and again on events.

Byrne is a really cool guy - laid back, passionate about music, flexible, and experienced. He was the only DJ we interviewed who was familiar with some of our more obscure music picks and was decidedly non-cheesy. Within two minutes of sitting down with him, we knew we wanted to have him DJ our wedding. It was all the sweeter that he was among the most reasonably priced DJs around and offered a lot for the price.

He arrived on time, efficiently set-up for both the reception and ceremony, kindly pulled out a stand mic for our readers at the last minute because of wind/street noise, integrated our play/do not play list seamlessly into the wedding, made announcements as needed without ever being obtrusive or obnoxious, and kept the dance floor hopping. He seems to read the crowd well and select music accordingly. We had a few very minor snafus: He started the recessional music a bit too soon, but quickly realized his mistake and faded it out. He also forgot my name at the end of the night as folks were lining up for a sparkler sendoff! It turned out to be an amusing moment as the crowd yelled out my name for him, but a wee bit awkward. Overall, Byrne was a nice presence throughout the night and had a big hand in making our wedding a fabulous...

One word, AMAZING. Byrne kept the party going all night and there was never a moment when there weren't people dancing. Well worth every penny!

Byrne did a great job at our wedding. We provided him with a list of songs we wanted played, and he did a great job of mixing them in with other new and older songs he selected to match the ambiance of our reception. I had several guests after the wedding ask if they could get a copy of the playlist because they enjoyed it so much! Byrne was always professional, listened to our requests, and was responsive to our needs. He arrived early to set up for our ceremony and was a very 'low maintenance' vendor, which as a bride I appreciated because I was able to focus on just enjoying the day and all our friends and family, not managing vendor issues. He was very easy to work with and did everything perfectly for our wedding. I did provide him a complete list of songs for the ceremony, a "run of show" spreadsheet timeline and highlighted everything he needed to know to do his job. We met several times and discussed everything in detail. He was prepared and ready for the BIG DAY and he delivered seamlessly! I wanted make sure his job was easy and that he had everything he needed. Everyone is still talking about the wedding and how beautiful and fun it was! Thanks Byrne for a wonderful job!!!

Byrne was awesome! The dance floor was moving all night and he chose great music to play! We had given him a list of the type of music we wanted and he did a great job mixing it up. He also has an awesome personality and is just an all around cool guy. You will not regret hiring him!

What can I say? Our DJ was the best! He showed up early, and made everything run super smooth! Good music that made people dance but wasn't all top 40.

Byrne Rock was fantastic to work with. Right away, wedding guests of all ages hit the dance floor. He knew the right mix of songs to keep them dancing all night as well. He was very professional and had an easy-going DJ personality at the wedding, which should be any bride's biggest concern when interviewing DJs. Byrne is not in any way, a typical cheesy wedding DJ. And trust me, we came across a few in our planning process. We had a good idea of the kinds of songs we wanted to hear, and he played most of them, in addition to others that were real crowd pleasers. We learned about him through our venue, Hamilton Twelve. And they were right on. So to other brides out there, Byrne comes totally recommended!

Byrne was one of my favorite vendors. He did an exceptional job of picking out songs that got most of the wedding guests out on the dance floor. Some of my friends at the wedding later remarked that they had never seen such a packed dance floor- and it was all thanks to the awesome music being played. Byrne wasn't the stereotypical "cheesy" DJ- he only did the necessary announcements and kept them short and sweet.

His rates can't be beat, his song choices are great, and I highly recommend him!

Byrne was such a great find... He was recommended to me from a girlfriend in the wedding industry and proved himself exceptional! He played the biggest role in the wedding coordinating all wedding and reception music and ensured all items on my Big Day agenda were met as he MC'd! My girlfriend booked him the weekend after he played for ours because he was so good! After watchin my wedding video, everyone was dancing!

Working with Byrne Rock is a real joy. Byrne has a reputation for making every event fun for the young and old by playing the best music and getting everyone on the dance floor. I have to admit, I've gotten caught up in the moment when Byrne plays a great song and the people just go crazy dancing and singing along to the music. He makes it easy for me to get absolutely amazing photos of the bride and groom strutting their stuff. You rock Byrne Rock!
