On a day that can be stressful with a zillion details to keep track of, photography can be a huge problem. That's why Karise and I appreciate Byron so much. He captured all the moments that we wanted captured at our wedding, and then many we didn't know we wanted! This all while kindly and professionally keeping everything rolling (we have big families, so that means a lot). Also, not to brag, but he took some of the prettiest engagement photos I've ever seen for us. We were out on Lido Beach, Sarasota FL an hour before sunset, and he captured moments that we'll treasure for a lifetime.

Byron Thomson is a phenomenal phototgrapher. Not only did we use him for our wedding photos, but for our engagment photos as well. He was very organized and was always right on cue to catch all of the great shots. He was patient and made sure that we were getting all of the pictures that we had hoped for. He was also very prompt in getting the photos done and delivered.
I have and will always recommend him to my friends and family. Five stars all the way!!

Byron photographed my husband and I for our engagement pictures. I had a list of poses that I had to have but Byron offered lots of creative input. The poses I HAD to have we didn't even use. We used the ones Byron suggested. They were awesome. Byron is creative, prompt and affordable. I plan to use him in the future.

Byron was down to earth, incredibly creative, very patient and put you at ease, always available and never unprofessional. I wanted my pictures to be unique and fell in love with his style immediately with my engagement session, and followed up with my wedding as well. Every photo taken was well thought out and beautiful, he got very meaningful and memorable shots. He took so many pictures which turned out amazing! He was extremely easy to work with, and his photography is top notch. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. I started my journey in photography back in high school, when I bought my first camera. After much experimenting, practice, and several cameras later, I launched my own professional photography business. I now specialize in wedding and engagement photography but still love capturing candid moments, spectacular landscapes, family portraits as well--you name it! I love meeting and working with all kinds of people. Each person has their own unique and special personality and it's my goal to creatively capture that in my photos.
I shoot in a photo journalistic style that captures memories as they are made, essentially photo-journaling your special event as it unfolds. As part of the photo journalistic style, I have an eye for noticing small but important details and a knack for capturing them in fresh and creative ways that help capture the essence of your special day.
From rustic country settings to tropical beach destinations, I enjoy utilizing the full potential of different locations to create fresh and innovative photographs.
