Mike was simply the best, everyone kept telling me how much fun they were having. He was very easy to work with and helped us out every step of the way.

We went with a lighting package that added so much to the overall look of the reception.

Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. I was very concerned about finding the right person to DJ for my wedding since that person controls the whole flow of the event. Mike was so organized that I knew right from the start he would be great. He has an awesome website that you can request certain songs to be played, or certain songs that you don't want played. The day of our wedding came and Mike absolutely killed it. I have some pretty finicky family members and they all complimented him on the music he played and how he kept the party moving. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody at all.

Mike was the consummate professional. He made sure that he served not only as a DJ but kept track of the timeline leading up to and during our special day, almost like a second coordinator. We lived a couple hours from where Mike works and he was willing to meet us in the middle for two meetings (one for the initial introduction and the second to finalize everything before the wedding). In all interactions Mike was very personable. He was attentive in our wishes, asking how much interaction he should have during the wedding, and most importantly, he followed through on what we asked. Several guests commented on his great recognition of meshing the crowd with the music. Plus, if you have time, you can select which songs to play or not play ahead of time, he has over 80,000 something songs! We couldn't have been happier with our selection and would gladly recommend Mike again. If you need a DJ, he is your guy!

Both my husband and I were extremely happy with the dj service we received at our wedding. From the time we first met with Mike Carroll we knew he was the dj for us. He was professional, kind, funny and has a passion for what he does. He has a lot of experience and while he does listen to your wants and needs as a client, he also helps guide you through it. Our wedding went off smooth and without a hitch and I do believe how he mc'ed the evening played a huge part in that. He ensured that things went according to our schedule that we created with the use of his helpful website. Both friends and family commented after about how great out dj was. Mike of C Squared Events made my wedding reception so much fun! I was concerned given that our wedding was small (80 guests) and a varied group, that guests would leave early and no one would dance. I had discussed these concerns with Mike prior to the event but I should never have worried. Everyone was on the dance floor, and there was still a large group at the end of the night that had to take the party to a bar, since our event had to end at 10pm. Mike played a great mix of music, and clearly is experienced at knowing what to play to get everyone to have fun. I’d definitely recommend C Squared Events to anyone and would hire them again for future events!

With Mike as our DJ, we had everyone on the dance floor — the younger and older crowd danced together. He was right on time with all of the events we had planned and very professional. Also, he wasn't a cheesy DJ that is so cliche. Instead he was a fun loving guy who connected well with the guests and kept the party going. My father-in-law asked who picked our music because he was so happy he could dance through most of the reception and he's in his mid-60's.

Mike asked me how I envisioned my wedding reception and I said I wanted everyone to dance to at least one song, and that is exactly what happened plus some. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much and liked the mixture of music the DJ played. When it came to meetings and discussing the reception details, Mike was right on mark and easy to work with.

As for arranging the music, Mike has a handy website that lets you organize the times and events along with the songs or MC needs. There are song recommendations if you're not musically inclined. It was great tool to utilize because it allowed me to be specific and tell him exactly how I wanted the time spent at the wedding. During the event, there was no confusion as to what was going on or what was next on the agenda. Mike was well informed on how we wanted the night to go letting us party to the music with friends and family without a worry in the world. As a result, we ran on time and got to do everything we wanted at the reception.

People left the wedding telling me how good the DJ was and how much fun they had. If anything, that is a true review within itself because they were the people I was trying to please. Since they came away having a great time, I have to thank Mike for making our wedding reception a memorable and successful experience.

Mike is an awesome DJ! He really gets to know you and makes you feel like more than just another client. I love how he asked what we wanted out of our wedding right off the bat. MIKE IS THE BEST DJ! So many people asked if he was our personal friend because he was so at ease with everyone (but still very professional). His style was perfect for what we wanted and the way he jumped in to help when others dropped the ball was above what I could have hoped for. The guitarist I hired for the ceremony cancelled 2 days before the wedding. Mike found all the music I asked for on such short notice. He played a perfect mix of music at not only the ceremony but the reception as well. We danced all night. I can not say enough positive things about Him and this company. Wonderful doesn’t seem to hold the enough impact for how great the service truly was.

It was love at first email with Mike - he got married at the same ceremony venue as I did and we bonded over our feelings about New York and country music. Through the whole process, Mike was extremely organized. He has an amazing website where you can request all your songs, he set up a sound system for my ceremony (which was at a different location than my reception)and he even emceed a mini version of "The Newlywed Game" for me. He even flashed our logo on the dance floor and it looked great! I got a lot of compliments about him and the music he played from my guests. I am SO pleased with the service I got from Mike and for the quality of his work. Highly recommend him to all brides who are still looking for a DJ!!!

Mike is seriously the best!!!! I dont know if our wedding would have been such a big hit if it wasnt for him! Not only is he THE BEST, but he is such a pleasure to work with! We interviewed 5 dj's before we picked C squared. What separated him from the rest was when we first went to meet with him he simply asked us "what do you want your wedding to look like, what do you want your guests to walk away with?" He was the first person to ask us what WE wanted and not tell us how he normally runs a wedding. Our wedding was done out of the ordinary and we loved how excited he got every time we threw a new idea at him. You would be crazy not to have Mike as your DJ for your wedding!!

Mike really enhanced our wedding experience from being MC at our lunch banquet to suggesting items that we forgot to include during our reception. Whenever we had a question, we would shoot him an email or give him a call and usually within 1 hours time, he would contact us. Our guests were pleased with his music and we were too. If we had to do our wedding over again, we'd definitely would have him as our DJ and Emcee.

Mike was great in coordinating the entertainment part for our cocktail party even when there is a few hiccup, but everything was terrific.

Mike was an excellent DJ. We loved the music, and he was very attentive to our needs. When we were running over one hour late with our photographer, Mike adjusted our schedule accordingly and got us to the end of the reception on time, smoothly. He helped make our day as pleasant and as stress-less as possible. Highly recommended!

We used C Squared Events as our DJ for our wedding. Mike was amazing from beginning to end. He responded to emails/calls quickly, he met with us when we had questions, and made sure our day went smoothly from start to finish. He had every song that we requested and made sure if he didn't have something, that he had it the day of the wedding. He was personable, made everyone feel comfortable, and was very professional. Mike was more than just a DJ, he was a master emcee!!! We would definitely recommend!

Mike was awesome!!! He was not only a master DJ, but he also help to plan and manage the flow of the reception. It was like having a DJ and planner rolled into one. But most important, my friends, my groom and I all had a BLAST on the dance floor. I had told Mike that music was probably the most important element of my wedding (OK, second to the groom!) and he delivered on his promise to make my wedding fun and well organized--an added value. C squared events was great! not only did Mike help us with our music selection but he helped us plan our time line for the evening. He has a really easy and fun to use web site where you can listen to all of the different music he has to offer and the site even gives you ideas about great songs to use for the different dances (like father daughter dance) and events (bouquet toss) throughout the night. Heather was a great help in helping to decorate our ceremony site. It was more beautiful then I imagined! and I have had so many people tell me that it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. The lighting effects really made the evening fun and lively.
