Cafe La Cave

Our reception at Cafe La Cave was elegant and beautiful, thanks to Randy. Randy is the best! I had some issues with one of the other staff members, that I wasn't too happy about. But-- It didn't detract from my day and everything else was flawless!

I would give Cafe La Cave more than 5 stars if I could!!! This reception venue made our wedding the best wedding we or any of our guests had ever been to—and I am saying that because my guests could not stop telling me how fantastic our wedding was and how it was the best they had ever been to. Café la Cave is not only a beautiful facility, which has some of the best food you will probably ever eat (which they can do because it is a restaurant rather than a hotel), but they will help you plan all the little details and ensure that everything comes off beautifully. They offer all the little upgrades and details that made the day so special, like a sweet table that spanned half the back wall, and a martini bar with an ice sculpture. They also have packages which include a full premium bar for 5 hours, which allows your guests to drink whatever they want from the time they arrive until they leave. Their staff is the best in the business. Randy, the coordinator, coordinated the entire evening so our guests were never bored or waiting for the next thing to happen. They took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about it. I cannot even put all of the little things they do to make the day easier and more special for you because I do not have the time or space, but suffice to say that if you have your reception here, people will talk about it for months and remember it forever.

The food here is to die for! The service is really wonderful & the ambience is really nice. I would highly recommend this place as a rehearsal dinner site or a reception site!

My mother-in-law gave us our wedding shower at Café La Cave. At first I thought the place was old. Was I wrong! I wish we had our wedding there! Food & Service was spectacular!!!

We loved Café La Cave and so did our guests. They offer the best food and the absolute best service and all for a very reasonable price! We got some many complements on how good the food and service was at Café La Cave. Don’t let the location fool you…its very easy to get to and the surrounding hotels offer a free shuttle for your guests that want to stay at the surrounding hotels. About a year before our wedding, a client of mine in Houston commented on how good the food was here before I let him know that was where we were going to have our reception.

Our reception was held at Cafe La Cave. The restaurant is owned by a family friend and my sister, aunt, and uncle had all held their wedding receptions at this site. We had such beautiful reception, everything went perfectly! The staff was right at our side whenever we needed anything. The food was excellent. Throughout the night there were no surprises or glitches. The room was decorated beautifully and the service was perfection. The site also has a great geographic location, as there are several hotels in the immediate surrounding area. Randy, the event coordinator at Cafe La Cave was so amazing to work with, he was like my own personal wedding planner!

Cafe La Cave hosted my fairy tale wedding. We were married in June '08 and our guests still rave about how delicious the food was and what impeccable service the hall provided. Tina and Randy were so easy to work with, which made for easier planning. Cafe La Cave catered to our every need and request and treated us and our guests like royalty for the night. The hall's lastest remodeling endeavors make it comparable to any hotel in downtown Chicago. Highly recommended!

We just had our wedding reception at Cafe La Cave and our guests can't stop complimenting us on how smoothly everything ran that night. Randy did a great job keeping everything moving from the food to the dancing. Our guests were fed great food and can't stop raving about it. Romero, the captain was the sweetest and made sure the head table was always taken care of. The BEST service! Can't beat it! The entire staff is so great to work with, I recommend Cafe La Cave to anyone looking for great food, location, and not to worry about anything at their reception.

I want to start out by saying I had a very difficult time finding the perfect location for my wedding. After searching and searching for the right place my mom's friend recommended Cafe La Cave. The minute I walked in I knew this is where I was going to get married. If your looking for a romantic, beautiful classy reception this is it. If I were to use one word to sum up my experience at Cafe La Cave it would be perfect! Every step that we took in planning our wedding at cafe La Cave was painless and delightful. Randy and Carie were a pleasure to deal with and made our experience very stress free and wonderful. Not only is the food great the service is spectacular. They truly care about there client and make you feel like royalty. I highly recommend Cafe La Cave for any wedding!
