Cake Carousel provided us with both a groom's cake and a bride's cake. For the bride's cake, we did 4 tiers with 2 tiers being fake and then serving the guests sheet cake as we were cutting the cakes. This was to help cut down on the line and have cake out to our guests as quickly as possible. The groom's cake was a little more detailed and it turned out perfect! We did order more cake than we thought necessary (we even had a lot of people cancel/back out at the last moment), but we had no cake left over, minus the traditional top tier. However, their portions were more generous than we had anticipated (definitely NOT a bad thing in our minds) so I would keep this in mind if you would like to have left over cake. (This could also be due to something happening at our venue as well). All in all, Cake Carousel provided beautiful designs, delicious cake and great service. We can't wait to eat our top tier on our first anniversary.

Cake Carousel was great to work with for our wedding. All the cakes that we tried at the tasting were delicious, and we ultimately decided to go with a red velvet cake with buttercream icing. SO good and beautiful cake.

Cake looked great but owner had to reschedule my appointments numerous times and even forgot to put my appointment on her schedule and didn't even say she was sorry when I showed up and she was doing a cake class. I believe she is running a successful business but needs to value her customers time better and provide better customer service.

One of the most important things for me at my wedding was to have a really great tasting cake. I wanted it simple but beautiful and the flavor to be excellent. A cake to remember. To find such a cake, tastings were done at eight different bakeries. I cared about this and was was willing to put in the time to get what I wanted.
I found a design I loved at Cake Carousel - and I was especially happy as I had grown up going to their bakery supply store owned by the same people. At the tasting, I received great customer service and their white chocolate cake won me over. It was moist, with a pronounced white chocolate flavor, but the only problem was that it was a bit dark.
Our consultant assured me that she would take care of that color problem and for the real wedding cake it would be white. This flavor cost extra (maybe around $80 to $100 extra) due to the time and expense of adding the white chocolate. But it was great, so we went with the white chocolate.
The day of the wedding the cake looked lovely - just the way I wanted it to. It had a nice white crumb and the pictures of it was wonderful. However, the flavor (which was so vital to me) just was not there. I can understand why it tasted a bit dry (I know such a large cake is hard to get right) but I have no idea why it DID NOT taste like white chocolate. I knew it was suppose to be white chocolate and I could not taste it at all. My mom and MOH had both tried it at the tasting and they agreed - not white chocolate flavored. Instead of being spectacular - it was a rather ordinary, vanilla-tasting cake.
So I liked the look of it - but was sad that all the effort I had put into finding something great ended up being ordinary.

We had originally planned to make our wedding cake ourselves, but a week before the wedding decided it was going to be too stressful, so we contacted Kelly at Cake Carousel. She was super accommodating and on such short notice, was still able to create our beautiful and most importantly, DELICIOUS wedding cake!! AMAZING

These people are the worst when it comes to customer service and recently proved themselves to be the worst when it comes to taste as well.
My sister fell in love with their buttercream and ordered a 30th birthday cake from them. It was one of the ugliest cakes I have ever seen...until I saw her shower cake...
I was in charge of ordering her shower cake. She warned me they would be rude to me on the phone but I thought, surely not. They are a small business, after all. I was wrong. I was told to call back the first time I attempted to order her cake. When I politely inquired of the best time to return the call I was met with further curt explanations of how busy they were. Okay, fine. When I called back to order the cake the woman literally sighed at me several times when I informed her that I lived in another state and could not come in to discuss the cake in person. When we picked up the cake, which was supposed to be pastel shades of pink, we found a hot pink cake. The word "Congratulations" nearly ran off the side of the cake, like someone did not realize how long it was. The cake was very obviously crooked and it was molded within 3 days. Sadly, the french cream that had been the saving grace of the 30th birthday cake was non-existent with this cake.
I would advise you to run screaming from this place.

Both my cake and the groom's cake were absolutely perfect for us. My groom decided that he wanted a Kyle Field cake (field at A&M university) replica...we were nervous if they could do it or not once we showed them the pictures since it would be huge...but Kelli just said OK, and it was a HUGE HIT at our wedding...thanks Kelli :)

Cake Carousel provided us with wonderful bride and grooms cakes. They created exactly what I had wanted and they tasted fantastic too.

We were very pleased with our cakes from Cake Carousel. They by far had the best tasting cakes out of the cake tastings that we did! It is run by a mother daughter team and I was so impressed that the mother herself delivered the cakes and set them up! I would definitely recommend them.

I was very pleased with my expierience at the Cake Carousel. We did both a wedding and grooms cake with them. The tasting really won me over, everything we tried was so good, it was hard to choose! They created exactly what I was envisioning for our cakes, they were perfect! For cake, it did seem high priced, but compared to other companies they were relatively low. Thanks Cake Carousel!

I called to set up an appt for a cake tasting and asked me to make it late afternoon. The day of the cake tasting she calls to inform me that she has an activity with her child and can not make it. Needless to say, we used someone else.

It was hard to review the bakery as we had two different types of service. Our groom's cake came out beautiful and just how we expected it! The wedding cake had a few problems, which were able to be fixed by our venue. However we did voice our concerns after the wedding and spoke with Kelli. She was very sincere with her apology and we believe it was an honest mishap. Atleast one thing has to happen in a wedding right? We would recommend them as the cakes were delicious and the outcome was okay. We would suggest picking up your cake or being there when it's delivered.

Rude unhelpful service. Which is disappointing considering the large selection. I did get a refund however.

The person I ordered my cake from moved to CA and she referred me to Cake Carousel. The consultation was professional and they have wonderfully tasting cake. However, I was disappointed about the actual wedding cake itself. It was a lot small then I expected and the cake topper was put on totally wrong. The box had the picture and instead it looked like the groom was sliding into home plate. My wedding coordinator tried to fix it but the pictures were already taken. The groom's cake was cheesy too. It looked nothing like a football helmet. I wasn't thrilled with the design and size but I guess you get what you pay for.

I was completely satisfied with Cake Carousel. I was actually referred to them by my venue. We met with Cake Carousel and immediately made our decision there. We were very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their cakes. I had a vision of the way I wanted our cakes to be and Cake Carousel made it happen. I look forward to using them in the future and would recommend anyone to check them out.

Small world, but I actually went to middle school and highschool with these people. This is an independantly owned bakery and they do wonderful work! Dan & I were extremely picky and had specific ideas that we wanted for our cake. Kelly never once flinched and was able to incorporate everything we wanted and keep us to our budget. The cake was delicious and everybody at the wedding was amazed at how unique and interesting the cake was! Even our photographer was taken with how much detail and creativity went into this one.

My wedding cake was Bride's White and Raspberry filling with Buttercream frosting. It tasted really good and everyone enjoyed it. Cake Carousel did a good job on our cake and they were nice to talk to. They treated us well and went out of their way for us. We constantly double checked if they could do our wedding cake design exactly as we wanted and each time they went out of their way to insure us they could do it and there would be no problems with it. My cake was very special and it's all due to the hard workers at Cake Carousel. They are a good bakery with affordable prices.
