Cake Divas

My mom and I made an appointment for a consultation at Cake Divas. Our consultant was very nice and helpful during the tasting. When she estimated the total cost of the wedding cake she said that they will work with us to accomodate our budget. I gave her our budget for the cake and she went to ask her boss, Leigh. Leigh came out and spoke to my mom in such a rude and offensive manner. Instead of offering a polite explanation and trying to work with our budget, she told us that if she knew our budget beforehand she wouldn't of gone through the consultation and waste anyone's time. She also said they were a high end bakery and that they don't do cakes that were below $8 per person. She was so rude that even our consultant felt embarrassed of her behavior.

I had to write this review because I felt that Leigh disrepected us as potential clients and my mom was furious with her attitude.

After seeing the movie Because I Said So, I fell in love with Diane Keaton's birthday cake. It was so perfect! Without even tasting their cakes, I ordered a $200 baby shower cake for my best friend. The design was loosely based on some pictures off their website and Diane Keaton's birthday cake. I was nervous, ordering such an important and expensive cake from a bakery I had never tried before.
Needless to say, they did not disappoint. The cake was gorgeous and delicious. The top tier was red velvet, and the bottom tier was marble with a cookies & cream filling. Everyone had two slices of cake and kept raving about how great it was.

The cake looked pretty, and tasted even better! Even if you don't decide to use them as your bakery, go do a tasting with them! Their cakes are all declicious! Our wedding was on the hottest day of the year, and it still looked beautiful!

They were also very helpful in creating my dream cake that other wedding-cake suppliers said could not be done. I was truly impressed.

I loved my wedding cake. I found a picture in my photographer's portfolio of a wedding cqke that I loved. I had him e-mail the picture and they actually made it even better.

The layers were abundant. All of the flavors were exotic combinations. We loved our cake tasting and worked closely with them to make an interesting wedding cake which everyone loved.

Amazingly creative cakes. Open to organic and eco-friendly. Great service.

I love these ladies. When you take a crying Quinceanera girl on a 2 hour drive to find the best cake you really make her life when she meets the Cake Divas... who could ask for more.. .their lemon on lemon cake or their oreo filling wow! Need I say more!
