Cake Lady Jill

Cady Lady Jill is amazing! Her cakes are rich and moist. The detail that goes into her work is evident of her love for baking. My guest were pleasantly surpirsed that the wedding cake was so deluctable. Jill is very accomodating, professional and full of creative ideas that make the monsterous task of choosing a cake very simple. Jill provided me with both my wedding cake and groom's cake (which was a suprise to the Groom). My husband was overjoyed with the design (roller skates on a hard wood floor…pictures to come) of the cake as he one of his hobbies is roller skating. Jill was delightful to work with. All of my guest left in awe of her product. She comes highly recommended from me and my family.

As soon as I started looking for someone to design and create our wedding cake all I heard was Cake Lady Jill. Jill is absolutely wonderful. Her cakes are delicious and beautiful. While engaged, my husband had her design and make a birthday cake for me. It was delicious. Jill is very accommodating and honest and delivers on her promise. She is, as far as I am concerned, the best.

Wow, where do we even begin. We couldn't have been more impressed with Jill at Cake Lady Jill. Both the grooms cake and wedding cake were not only gorgeous in looks but even better in taste. The day of the wedding, the cake tasted excatly like the cake at the cake tasting, so delicious!!!

Jill did phenomenal job on our cake! It not only was beautiful it taste great! She is wonderful to work with and did just what we ask! She is wonderful!! Very talented!

Jill was great. Her cakes are delish! I definitely ordered too much cake for our wedding since we had the entire bottom layer left over. She is very creative and made us a beautiful cake. My only disappointment is that we asked her to put a little note on the back of the cake that said in loving memory of our aunt that recently passed (real small so no one would see it but us, but then our photographer could snap a pic of it). She assured us this would be done, and it was not. Our aunt had given us money to purchase the cake prior to her death so it was going to be a sweet way to remember her. I am sure it was an honest mistake, but other than that her cakes are fantastic and I would recommend using her.

Jill is such a sweet lady. From the moment we met her, we knew we wanted to use her! She is incredibly creative! On top of make beautiful cakes, they actually taste REALLY good!

Words can't describe how amazing our cake was!!! Jill gave us the wedding cake of our dreams and all the guests raved about the design and the taste! She is also a wonderful value and very fun to work with!

Jill was awesome to work with. We took her a picture of a cake that we wanted and she made the cake even bigger and better than the picture. We also wanted to have the cake on a white cake pedastal instead of a stand and Jill was able to have one custom made just for the my cake!! The cake tasted delicious as well!!! She is fun and energetic and great to work with for your non-traditional cakes and she loves thinking outside of the box!! Would recommend her 100%!

My husband and I had several other meetings with potential bakers for our wedding cake.. but as SOON as we met Jill, we knew she was perfect. She has such a great personality. I brought in a picture of a cake I liked in a magazine and Jill had such great ideas. The tasting was amazing as well! She was so flexible on flavors and icings...we even had a chocolate layer that included fresh strawberries. All of our guests could not get over how beautiful the cake was or how delicious it was!

Cake Lady Jill was amazing. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. We were unsre exactly what we wanted but ahe helped us design the perfect cake. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined and we received many complimants on the flavor as well! She took care of everything and made our wedding day very easy. The price was also fantastic.

Jill and her cakes are true perfection!!! My wedding cake was perfect! It tasted as good as it looked! I am still hearing compliments on how great the cake tasted and how beautiful it was. Jill was so easy to work with. She has a lot of great ideas and provides you with a hand-drawn sketch of the cake. She provided the cake for my bridal shower (a complete surprise) and the grooms red-velvet weddig cake as well. Her prices are outstanding and she doesn't charge you for all the little extras that some bakeries do. I hope to work with Jill again in the future! She is awesome and her cakes are top-notch too!!

Jill created a beautiful cake for us! It tasted sooo good & the design she came up with perfectly suited our wedding.

She did a great job. She is very nice and very affordable. Our cake was beautiful and she came early to set it up. I believe she started making our cake at 3am the same morning of our wedding. Our guests loved the cake. It was gone by the time the reception was over. Would def. use again for weddings or even other events. She is great!!

Two words: utterly phenomenal. Jill is amazing! I have never seen anyone that can make cakes like this woman. When we were cake shopping, design was very important to me, but not as important as taste. I have been to so many weddings where I have seen stunning cakes that tasted horrible, so it was important to me that if I was going to be spending money on a cake that it was delicious as well as beautiful. When I went to meet with Jill I had my mind made up that I wanted cupcakes. She let us do a tasting of all of her different flavors and fillings (ALL delicious - the decision was very hard!). Then I showed her photos that I had clipped and we looked at previous projects she'd done, and I told her my likes and dislikes about all of them. About a week later, I got three sketches from Jill - two different cakes, and one cupcake design. When I saw the magnificent cakes that she sketched for us, I was sold. I had spent years being convinced that I wanted cupcakes, but the beauty of the cakes she drew convinced me that if I didn't choose one of the cakes I'd regret it forever. It was beautiful - everything we wanted and more, and delicious as well! Also EXCELLENT value for the money. Fantastic!

OHHHH Jill! I just cut into my anniversary cake for our one year, and it is as GREAT, fresh, and flavorful as it was on our wedding day... Thank you soooo your are the Best!!! Thanks,

The first thing that stood out about Jill was that she truly wanted us to choose the best cake for us. What I mean by that is, unlike other cake vendors, Jill did not make us search through a list of flavors and pick 3 samples to try, she let us try every cake flavor and every cake filling. She even helped us pair the cakes and fillings in ways we wouldn't have done on our own. We also got to choose different flavors for each tier, so we ended up choosing the toasted almond with a chocolate cream filling for the first tier, the chocolate buttermilk with a rasberry mousse filling for the second tier, and the carrot cake with the cream cheese filling for our top (anniversary) tier. Jill asked la lot of questions about our wedding to get a feel for how to make the cake fit, and when we told her what we had in mind, she drew a picture of exactly what we were looking for. The cake itself was an absolute masterpiece. I got so many compliments about the cake and how it was not only magnificent to look at but also fantastic tasting (which according to our photographer is nearly impossible to find). Jill is the best in town, and she's comparable in price. Why settle for a typical wedding cake when you can have a custom designed cake for the same price? Jill's cakes really are worth it, go in and meet her, you'll see what I mean!

Jill went over and beyond with our cake. She listened to our requests and followed through. She saved the day when the florist fell through with the cake topper. Jill stopped on her way and made her own. It was beautiful and delicious. By far the most pleasant cake-tasting. Everyone after was just out of luck - they couldn't come close!

Jill made cookies for my bridesmaid luncheon that were the MOST adorable cookies I have ever seen! She also made monogrammed wedding cookie favors, and best of all, our Wedding Cake. EVERYTHING was delicious... the wedding cake was SO moist and the buttercream frosting the best I've ever had. The cake was delicious when we had a tasting, but the actual wedding day was out of this world. Her craftsmanship with her design is incredible and her cakes are HUGE! She has LOTS of selection with actual flavors and also with styles. It was difficult to choose! She was the best value for cost too! Everything arrived as ordered and was beautiful and tasty! I need to have another celebration just so I can order more treats. THANKS SO MUCH JILL!!!!

Hands down the best wedding cake designer in Charlotte. Her portfolio was miles beyond all the others I visited. She's incredibly talented, and her cakes taste like heaven!!!!

Using Jill for our cake was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She is incredibly helpful, flexible and creative when it comes to designing cakes. My husband and I went to her with a basic idea of what we wanted and she immediately sketched out the perfect cake for us. Not only was it beautiful, but it tasted fantastic - her chocolate mousse filling is to die for. I cannot recommend Jill enough... a year later, people are still talking about how beautiful our cake was and you cannot beat her prices!
