My husband and I found out about Cakery Bakery because the cake was included with our wedding package and cakery bakery was one of the bakeries to choose from. We tried the other bakeries on the list as well and none of them even compared to cakery bakery. The samples at the tasting were absolutely delicious. We decided on marble cake with fudge for two tiers and one tier of white cake with raspberry bavarian creme. Yum! The staff was very nice and didnt charge us extra for different flavored tiers like other places did. I was a bit nervous at first because I decided not to go with fondant and was worried the cake would not look as smooth and nice. But the cake was absolutely beautiful! It was executed perfectly and looked flawless, and it tasted amazing. They also had a beautiful cake stand that we rented and it looked just perfect. I can't wait till our anniversary so we can go back and have a small cake made for us. Actually I dont think I'll even wait until then I just might go this weekend! I highly recommend them.

I was very unsure of what I wanted for my wedding cake, but when we went to the cake tasting their cakes were so delicious. I loved the way the cake came out, it was more than i expected.

We searched all over L.A. for a cake that was reasonably priced, beautiful, and tasted great. Cakery Bakery was one of the first bakeries we tried--their prices couldn't be beat and their cakes are yummy. Their prices were just a notch more than the Asian bakeries but they can make so many more flavors. We had a 4 tier cake - all of which were different. Their carrot cake is the best. We had a cake for 200 people for less than $700 with delivery. They didn't charge extra for a square cake like other bakeries did.

My husband I went to bakery after bakery trying to find the perfect cake for our August 2010 wedding. They were either too sweet, too bland, too pricey or the decorating quality was not that great. The day we had an appointment with Cakery Bakery we almost didn't go because we were so drained from the 4 appointments earlier that day not to mention the numerous cake appointments earlier that week. Boy, were we sooo glad we ending up going to our appointment!!! Walking in I just had a feeling that this is the bakery I would get my cake from. They had so many beautiful cakes on display. Our cake tasting appointment was with the daughter of the owner. She was very nice. She answered all of our questions. My husband loved the marble cake at our taste testing. They were very affordable. I brought in a design I like and she said they could replicate it no problem! I was so happy about that. Then sometime later I decided to change the design and brought in a different picture this time we met with the owner and she was very accommodating about the design change. Cakery Bakery worked well with us and created a beautiful cake for our wedding! Our guest loved the cake! My husband can't wait for our one year anniversary so we can go back to Cakery Bakery and get another marble cake! LOL

I loved my wedding cake and it was delicious! Cakery Bakery has been my bakery since I was a little girl and it was only fitting they would do my wedding cake as well. I loved it and it was perfect! The owners are loving people who know their information and are very responsive and professional. LOVE!

Cakery Bakery was part of our package and did not have much too choose from, but was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted!

I used Cakery Bakery for my May 2010 wedding. Zora waas very nice and easy to work with. As far as wedding cakes go they are very affordable and delicious. I gave them a photo of cake from a magazine I saw and they duplicated it beautifully.

Cakery Bakery is a great little spot in La Canada. We got exactly what we were looking for on our wedding day, a simple, elegant and delicious wedding cake! The banana bavarian cream is fabulous and a must-try! As a side note, their red velvet cupcakes are one of the best I've ever tried... if you stop by there, you should definitely take one to try! :)

We are HUGE fans of Cakery Bakery and have always used them for birthday parties, Christianing's, etc. So when we found out they were a preferred vendor from our wedding venue, we got really excited. Their cakes are always tasty and they had a number of different cakes and fillings to choose from. The only complaint I can say is that they got my order wrong. It was a relatively slight detailed excluded from the cake, but nonetheless it was not there. I got a simple cake with ribbon on the bottom of each layer (all ribbon accounted for), but I asked for subtle white dots which they did not do. Overall the cake was tasty as expected.

My cake cost was provided through my venue and I chose to go with Cakery Bakery. The cake was light and moist and the frosting was not too sweet. It was one of the best cakes I ever had.With the package I had with my venue, I could only pick from a select number of designs. I was told they could do other things and, based on the difficulty, it may cost extra. I ended up finding a design I liked in the book so that worked out. They also did not charge me extra for doing a square cake, unlike the other bakeries I went to. And on the day of the wedding, the cake looked absolutely beautiful!

Cakery Bakery makes one of the best TRIPLE BERRY Cakes I have haver had! I bought a whole 10-person cake to try (this was the smallest size she was willing to go for this custom order) before our wedding and I fell in love! I practically finished the whole cake all by myself! Unfortunately, for our wedding cake the baker really skimped on the berries. Unlike the first cake that I had purchased, the wedding cake had more cream than berries. Many of my guests complained that the cake had too much cream - many even thought it was suppose to be a strawberry cake because there were few chunks of strawberry in between the mounds of cream and cake! I was really disappointed with the turn out - the cake itself was moist, but the lack of berries really was unacceptable. NOTE: I did not even ask for a discount. She charged me extra for the berries. Whatever price she quoted me, I paid! After complaining to her about the amount of blueberries & rasberries in the cake, she argued that she used a lot of berries (4 boxes per type of berry), however, my cake was suppose to feed about 170 guests. 4 boxes of blueberries would not have been enough to cover 4 layers of cake! Bottom line, if you go with her triple berry cake for a wedding cake, pay double for her to double the quantity of berries and make sure she doesn't skimp on the berries after accepting your money.

I love Cakery Bakery! We had cupcakes for our wedding, Cakery Bakery even decorated them just like I wanted! They were so nice and the cupcake tier with the little cake on top turned out perfect. This also happened to be the best price we found on our endless cupcake search. I was very happy with how beautiful it turned out and the cake tasted AMAZING too!

Cakery Bakery is awesome to work with. We wanted three different flavors and some unique icing and they handled our requests easily. We've gone back for lots of other holidays since we now live in the area.

Our cake was great! Guests loved it, we loved it...what else could you ask for? We had a pretty basic white cake with swiss dots....simple but elegant. We were more concerned with taste than looks. The taste did not disappoint. I would totally recommend Cakery Bakery to anyone in the LA area.

I LOVE this place!!! I went with the marble with fudge filling and white with strawberry filling, 2 layers each. It tastes great- rich and moist cakes. I went all over Pasadena/Altadena area for cake tasting and Cakery Bakery had the best tasting cakes and was also the most budget friendly. $800 for 200+ people for my simple decorated cake. Quite a great deal! I really didn't think about price to much picking a cake. I wanted the best tasting cake I could find and they were simply the best cake I have ever had!!! I plan an going and getting cake every anniversary to celebrate.

I LOVE CAKE. And as a result I've tasted a lot of bad wedding cakes. My wife and I have known of Cakery Bakery for a long time and been big fans of their cakes, so when it came time to order ours, we didn't even look anywhere else. We got the Raspberry Bavarian Cake. Two thumbs up.

DELICIOUS cake. We had two layers of raspberry bavarian cream and one layer of marble with fudge filling. Both were moist and tasty. The cake looked great too.

Cakery Bakery has delicious cakes to choose from. They have numerous designs to pick. It was hard to pick a cake out of the many options they offer. I ended up with a marble cake with chocolate ganche. It was incredible. The only complaint I have, is that it seemed a little smaller than I expected. I should have put spacing in between each of the tiers to make it seem bigger. Other than that, the cake was good and I recieved a bunch of compliments from my guests.

The best, most moist cake I've ever had! However, the cake wasn't exactly like the photo I showed, but it was still pretty.

Cakery Bakery is an impressive bakery. I have not had my wedding, yet. However, everything I've tasted, all of our communication have been delightful. They accept my requests and are completely willing to accommodate us. Also, they are very accessible. It is very aggravating when you call a business and are co constantly put on hold. I am also very picky with cake stands and I actually like the ones they have. I am so excited to have my cake and eat it too!

We recently got married, in May 2009 and this was one of the vendors made available to us from the package we selected. I am not dissapointed for making them my main vendor for our wedding cake. To this date, our guests are still talking about how great the cake looked and tasted. I didn't get a chance to taste it on my wedding day, but I've purchased one there for a birthday......and I can't stop talking about how delicious it is. The price is comfortable, the same as other bakeries....but it is definetly worth every penny! Look no further brides to be! This vendor followed every single instruction down to being on time with the deliver....to the color of our cake....to the flavor....we had the marble cake w/bavarian cream! YUMMY!!!

There was so many choices of creating the cake. The cost of the cake was very good and the little kids loved it! Came on time and it was my dream cake for my wedding.

We did our first and only cake tasting at Cakery Bakery - and we knew before we had left that we had found our wedding cake! The cake was extremely delicious - all of the guests absolutely loved the cake! We chose two flavors and guests couldn't decide which flavor they liked more - they were both that good. The cake looked exactly as we had envisioned it. The service was excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone!!

Cakery Bakery is a really nice bakery that is located by our neighborhod.We used them for our engagement party and the cake turned our amazing.The price that was quoted for our cakes was very affordable. This is my new favorite place for cakes and I most certainly be back for more cake.

I wish I could give Cakery Bakery more than 5 stars, I think they are that good.Not only was our cake beautiful, it was delicious too. The cake was moist and all our guests kept asking us "how can a cake that pretty, taste that good?". I love Cakery Bakery and I HIGHLY recommend them, especially if you are on a tight budget!

I really like Cakery Bakery cakes so moist and yummy. I have begin to order my cake am waiting on a reply from the owner. the cake comes with my wedding package from the Brookside so its all good I know I will have a cake. I will finish my review after the wedding!

I love the cake not so much the vendor, ya they dropped off the cake on time and its what I asked for...All the guest raved about how good the cake was but they are really hard to get a hold off and speak to. :( So for quality of cake they are really good!but customer service very poor!

The cake was the best wedding cake I have ever had! It was also lovely to look at. I will be using them again for other occasions.

cakery bakery was great! my husband and I went in for a few tastings since we could not figure out what flavors to get and all the cakes where so good! One month before our wedding we changed locations making the delivery to be much further away! cakery bakery did not charge us extra for the delivery! they where always so pleasant and helpful! the cake was beautiful and delicious!

Cakery Bakery was reasonably priced and the wedding cake tasted amazing. We had lemon cake w/ lemon mousse, red velvet w/ cream cheese filling, and white cake w/ bavarian cream & strawberries. The frosting was buttercream--light and fluffy but still sugary enough for a frosting-obsessed girl. The lemon was definitely the best flavor and surprisingly, the wedding cake itself tasted better than our cake tasting. I liked, but did not love, the design. Yes, we did try to direct them, and even drew them a picture which they followed faithfully, but this bakery is not in the business of taking your ideas and running with it. In our experience, its more about the cake than the design. So, if price and taste, and a pretty cake are important you should definitely go with them. If you are willing to pay more for knock-your socks off design (and amazing cake/flavors) I would go with Cake Divas which tastes and looks amazing--but would have been twice the cost. I did have a Cake Divas cake for a bridal shower and that was awesome. I'll try to post a pic of it eventually.

WOW and YUMMM the cake we got was amazing. okay now no stealing our idea now but Cakery Bakery made us a 4 tear cake and put all 130 guests names on it to honer them as well because we feel that all of our guests are family it was a joining of all the family and friends are now 1. it was WOW and YUMM thats all i have to say... come on you know what i mean.

WOW! My wedding cake was delicious and beautiful! I got so many compliments on the cake! Many people had more than 1 slice. I ordered white cake with bavarian cream and fresh strawberries. During the cake tasting, I loved this combination. My fiance does not like cake, but he liked Cakery Bakery's cake! They are a cute shop in La Canada and are very friendly. This cake came with my package from La Canada Flintridge Country Club. I HIGHLY recommend Cakery Bakery!

My cake from Cakery Bakery was beautiful and delicious (even a year later!). The only problem I had was that the person working at the store when I returned the inedible pieces was not happy that they were not washed (in all of the rush it completely slipped my mind). He tried to tell me that I had to go home and wash them, then return them. It was quite a drive and I refused and it took some convincing for him to accept them (even though they simply charge you a $5 wash fee if not returned clean). Other then that though, they were the best. They even allowed us to alternate the cake flavors! I would recommend that if you are saving the top layer to have them omit any fruit (it was still good but strange).

The cakes at Cakery Bakery are delicious! My wedding was rather casual and untraditional and they were extremely flexible and accomodating. When we came in for a tasting they helped us fit the right cake with the perfect frosting and were very willing to incorporate a design from our invitations onto the cake. Everyone at the wedding commented on how moist, light, and yummy the cake was. I highly recommend them for any event, not only a wedding. I will definitely be returning for my next event.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! We alternated flavors for no extra cost so my husband and I could both choose our favorites. They came with our La Canada Flintridge Country Club package, but I would have ordered from them regardless!

Our white cake with Bavarian cream and raspberry filling was delicious! Not to mention, that their prices were amazing. The cake and cake stand looked beautiful, while the service was pleasant and easy. A top notch cake at bargain prices.

Loved our wedding cake. We ordered a 4 tier mable w/ chocolate mousse and chocolate w/ rasberry bavarian with buttercream frosting. Cakey Bakery is one of the best wedding cake we've tasted plus our cherry blossom cake design came out beautiful and they are quite affordable! Highly recommended.

Delicious cakes! (Raspberry bavarian is a must try!) Design turned out better than it looked in the picture given as the example. Staff was very patient and helpful in the planning process.

The cake was fantastic! It came out beautiful and just how I had pictured it. It not only looked good but tasted FABULOUS! I keep hearing from my fmaily and friends that the cake was sooo good! Its hard to find a wedding cake that tastes AND looks good. A little hiccup happened though, they arrived with the wrong cake at first but luckily they are right down the street from the venue so after my dad corrected them, they were able to go pick up the right cake real quick.

I was the "anti-bride" and didn't care about tasting cake...Cakery Bakery came recommended by 3 referrals. I went in, picked a style, asked what the most popular flavor was (bavarian raspberry) and ordered my cake. They were easy to deal with and accommodating. It was beautiful! It was delivered on time and was FLIPPIN' delicious!!! I loved my cake and was told my several guests that it was one of the best wedding cakes they'd ever tasted.

The cake was delicious! (Lemon cake with raspberry jam filling) Cakery Bakery made a special design for me that’s not something they normally do. They even showed me how the spikes on my cake would look in buttercream (they’re usually done in meringue) so that I could see if I’d be happy with it before I booked with them. The cake was on-time, just how I wanted it to look and I can’t rave about them enough. Great company!

We used the Cakery Bakery for our Dec 23, 2006 wedding. They did an amazing job! We had a 5 tier, marble cake with bavarian creme filling and whipped frosting and EVERYONE did nothing but rave about the cake!

Not only was it delicious and "the best cake I have ever had" (according to many guests), the design was PERFECT, exactly what I wanted.

And as for price, they were one of the most reasonable out there. You will NOT be dissappointed.

We LOVED our cake! All of our guests loved our cake! It was a chocolate cake with bavarian cream filling and a whipped cream frosting. Even non-chocolate lovers enjoyed the cake. It was very moist. We also rented the silver cake stand from them for $40. The cake was included in our package, but we paid a little extra to have 2 squares for the bottom layers. When our guest count went up, they happily supplied an extra sheet cake just in case.

I had a cake from Cakery Bakery included in our wedding package. We chose white cake with lemon mousse in a simple design. Day of, it was fresh and tasted great! Will use them again.

I ordered a white cake with lemon mousse which came with a package through my reception site, La Canada Flintridge Country Club. All my guests enjoyed it. Looked great, tasted great.

Cakery Bakery was the best choice for our wedding. They came highly recommended to us from many different friends. Their price was half the price of other vendors but the cakes were twice as delicious. The cake was so delicious, people were going up for seconds and we didn't have any left at the end of the night. Our friends are still talking about our cake. We now use them for all of our occasions, however big or small.

What can I say! They made a very delicious cake for us: chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling! Yummy! Very moist which is my pet peave. Whenever we attend a wedding we are served dry cake but not this one!

Almost two years later my family and friends still talk about how delicious our wedding cake was! I have referred Cakery Bakery multiple times and everyone LOVES them. Professional, accommodating, friendly and reasonable.

We foudn the options at Cakery Bakery to be wonderful! The people there were very helpful and made sure we ended up with a one-of-a-kind cake that really was perfect for us. They worked around our budget and made sure that we avoided any algery issues by makeing a sheet cake with a different filling for other members of our wedding party. All in all we really had a great experiance with them.

We ordered a cake for 35 guests that served 50. It was a 2 tiered cake and we were able to have the entire top left for our first anniversary (which by the way, was still amazingly delicious!). The best part is that you can order mini samples of what you'd like to try which makes it great for a pre-wedding party or even a wedding shower. We ended up going with the marble cake and caramel creme with a buttercreme icing. We would have liked a whipped creme icing but considering it ended up being over 100 degrees at our wedding, the buttercreme worked out perfectly. Then we coordinated with our florist who came in early to decorate the cake. It was so beautiful and delicious!

I have been using and loving Cakery Bakery since I was a little girl. Every birthday cake I can remember and of course my wedding cake were created by their staff. Not only do they make exquisite cakes but they are lovely and wonderful people to work with. I have had the pleasure of recommending them for many years and do so without hesitation.

Cakery Bakery is one of only 2 bakeries that we get all our Wedding Cakes from and not only are their cakes delicious and beautiful but they truly care about the client and the final result. Just last month, a young couple made the mistake of ordering Bobble Head Cake Toppers that were so heavy they fell and took off half the top layer. Cakery Bakery to the rescue and the bride never saw what those heavy bobble heads did to her beautiful wedding cake. Cakery Bakery has been a La Canada Flintridge Institution and everyone who lives there knows why. :)
