Cakes By Reva

Reva is a SUPER nice lady! I didn't have a picture of what we wanted, but I described to her what we wanted and we could not have been happier with our wedding cake! It looked AWESOME and tasted every bit as good :) We had her almond sour cream, strawberry, and chocolate cake and it was ALL delicious! She was there for us when we had any concerns and even offered to meet us to help us find ribbon for our cake. Super sweet and talented lady... OH and her buttercream icing.. you will not taste anything like it. It is YUUUMMM- O. It won't leave that greasy after taste in your mouth.. We ordered cake for about 150 and we only had 173 guest and not one slice of cake was left! HIGHLY reccommend her!

Our wedding cake was awesome each layer was a different flavor and design. She incorporated the design on our wedding invitations on one of the layers. Reva's cakes are always beautiful and taste wonderful, we often get family birthday, anniversary, or holiday cakes.

The cake design was awesome! And tasted even better than awesome! The price was really low for a cake of that magnitude also! Anywhere else would have charged an arm and leg for quality like that. Hands down...the best!

Working with Reva was a breeze! She invited us into her home in order to taste her delicious cake flavors. She decorated our wedding cake with such detail, she even created our cake topper out of molding chocolate! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and how tasty our cake was and it was all thanks to Cakes By Reva!!

Reva is a pleasure to work with, and she will make your cake exactly how you want it while still providing great ideas to get your started if you're not sure what you want. Her cakes are absolutely delicious and beautiful, and they are worth the cost. She welcomes changes on your cake until a few weeks before the wedding, and she is easy to get in contact with. The one issue we had with our cake was that black icing starting dripping down the cake after awhile, but the reception hall was for our wedding was very hot and the day was extremely humid, which I'm sure largely contributed to the dripping.

Reva was great to work with! She prepared a number of different types of cakes for our tasting and was extremely flexible and enthusiastic. We actually downsized our cake thinking not that many people would eat it, but it was ALL gone because it was so delicious!

Reva was the best! She was able to produce the exact cake I wanted on short notice. She was so nice and very professional, helpful, and enthusiastic. Our cake was the most delicious cake I've ever had - and it made our reception hall smell delicious! Overall, delicious and beautiful cake, and Reva couldn't have been nicer!

Many of the guests at the wedding said that this was the best wedding cake that they had ever tasted.

My husband knew Reva and had tasted her cakes. I met Reva through him and also we attend the same church. So when we set our date we knew we wanted her to do our cake. Reva invited me into her home to sample some cakes, icings and fillings and to discuss the type of cake we wanted to have on our special day. My daughter came with me and she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The cakes were awesome and tasted wonderful. I was able to view some of her cakes and also had found a picture of a cake I really liked. I gave her the pic and she made the cake to the picture.

Reva was there early to set the cake up and make sure all was ready for our big day. It felt great to not to have to worry about the cake being special. We ended up doing our reception outdoors at the church and she was able to make the change for the icing to deal with being outdoors. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted great. All the guests loved it and asked if she did other cakes as well.

I would definatley recommend Reva and her cakes. She is very open to you and what you want very professional and flexible to make it work for you.

If I could rate Reva 10 on a scale of 5 I would. She's a sweetheart, and her cake is so moist and flavorful. Hands down the best cake we'd ever tasted, and what's more, she created the exact vision we had. Our cake was simply gorgeous. And the value is unreal. I about had a cow when I saw other bakers' prices. You should use Reva, simple as that.

Reva of Cakes By Reva treated this bride with the utmost attention, gentility and professionalism.
She was completly open to any request that I could ask of her.
I scheduled a meeting with her and she served me a slice of cake from her china and offered me a taste of her buttercream frosting and 2 fondants. It was so superb, I chose the buttercream.
I brought her a picture of a cake that I found in Brides Magazine--it was a celebrity cake and very unlike your typical wedding cake. I had 1 flavor for each of the 4 tiers and I must say that they were so scrumptious that I ordered more cake than I know we would have guest just so everyone could enjoy this delicious creation.
Reva is the President of Cincinnati's Cake Bakers Association--and well deserved as her design of my cake was so beautiful that I did not even need a topper. I had a botanical themed scheme and she made the cake fit into it perfectly.
She treated me so nicely at our first meeting that My Aunt asked her to make my shower cake and it was just outstanding in design and flavor. She fashioned a wedding dress of candy clay and draped it over my delicious and beautiful cake.
