I could not have been more pleased with my wedding cake! When I initially met with Sue I had a specific cake that I had found a picture of that I really wanted for my wedding - she duplicated it exactly! My cake required two special cake stands that I had not been able to find. Within one day of our meeting not only had Sue found the cake stands online, but she offered to purchase them and let me rent them rather than having to purchase them out right. Sue was able to work with our budget (which I think was rather small for the amount of people that we needed to feed) and created a way that I could feed everyone, have the exact cake that I wanted and stay within my budget. Of course, the cake was delicious! We had a really difficult time choosing which flavors we wanted because they were all so tasty!

It was very pleasure working with Cake by Sue for my wedding. She's very quick with responding to your questions, excellent communication skills, and bakes delicious cake. I'd say everything went perfect the way I wanted it to be. I can't even point out one thing that's negative. You won't be disappointed! :D

I ordered both a wedding cake and a grooms cake from Sue. I was really stressed because I was having a hard time finding someone to do the wedding cake I wanted in the budget I had available. Sue was more then willing to work with me and ensure I got the cake I truly wanted. My wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL!! It was exactly what I imagined and I couldn't have been happier with it!
In addition, the grooms cake was a Baltimore Ravens themed cake that was a surprise to my husband. Sue crafted a life sized football for this cake and it was beyond my expectations. It looks so life like!! I couldn't believe how realistic it looked! Both cakes tasted great also. Sue is an amazing cake designer!
Another thing I loved about Sue was she only books one bride for a weekend so she can give special attention to that bride and the cake she wants. When I called other bakeries, I was just another order..but with Sue I truly felt I was a main priority.
Sue made my day even ore special and I couldn't be happier with her work. Thanks so much Sue! :)

Sue is FANTASTIC!! My husband and I adore her. She was so sweet to work with. Her tasting was professional and DELICIOUS. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful. I will definatly be finding a reason to use her again!!

Sue was so wonderful to work with! The cakes we had looked into were overpriced and they were right down the street from where my husband and I got married. Sue traveled all the way from Elkridge, MD to Friendship, MD and she charged us half the price of other places we had looked into. Sue's cake was delicious! She also made my best friend's wedding cake and that was phenomenal too! Her cake was the perfect touch to our perfect day! Thanks Sue!!

Sue's cake was absolutely wonderful. It was moist and delicious. She took my ideas and ran with them and came up with something that I hadn't even thought of. She was able to take the design from my invitations and put it on sugar paper which then went right onto my cake. So many of my guests complemented on how great the cake tasted.
My husband and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary, and our top tier was just as good after frozen for a year as it did the day of out wedding. I would highly recommend her for anyone one who wants their cake to taste as good as it will look.

I couldn't have asked for better. The cake was just beautiful, more than I could have imagined. Everyone at the wedding loved it so much, looks and taste! Soooo happy I found Sue!

I only do one wedding cake per weekend. I feel this allows me to focus 100% of my attention and time to just your cake. I feel other bakeries may take on too much work at once, causing them to be too rushed and potentially creating a sloppy product. It's your special day, and my goal is to make the best cake possible for you. I also feel like this allows me to develope a more personal relationship with my client. To me, you are not just another inventory number on a contract.
I consider it a priviledge to be chosen to provide a wedding cake to a new couple. What a exceptional thing to be allowed to make a couple's wedding cake and have a small part in their special day!
