Cakes on the Dot, Inc

Julianne seemed to just make a bunch of assumptions and not really listen to what I wanted. She's not good at returning calls or emails. She did not make my cake to fit my cake stand. I told her months in advance the size and shape of my cake stand and would have gladly changed the cake to fit it. She did not bother to call or notify me that it wasn't going to fit. Just seems like she didn't care much. It's a bummer because she made a wonderful tasting cake, but I'm still left with a sour feeling about COD.

Best wedding cake I've ever tasted! And beautiful! I asked for a unique design and I got it. My only complaint is that she forgot about my cake plate. She's great if you call, but responsiveness is extremely slow via email.

Wonderful tasting wedding cake! I was very disappointed in the lack of communication and disregard for my request. I notified the baker twice about my cake plate and she just disregarded it, didn't make my cake so it would fit on the cake stand. It was a beautiful scroll design, but she just didn't care to do the very best for her customer. It's very frustrating when you feel like you have to ride a vendor because they just don't care.

Very tasty cupcakes and beautiful presentation! Julianne is not the best at email communication, so I recommend conversing mostly on the phone... (that's the only reason I didn't give two pluses) but she is very friendly and GOOD at her job. Everyone was bowled over by the cake. I'm not a huge cake person, and I even loved them. I wrapped our top tier very carefully in plastic because I am very much looking forward to re-visiting it this time next year!

Tim was really great to work with! He has baked the wedding cakes and other cakes for other members of our family, and we always loved the cakes he's baked! They look beautiful, too! For our wedding, we were going to have both a dessert table and a wedding cake, because it wouldn't be a wedding without a three tiered cake! We explained to Tim that we wanted something simple, so we had two layers of chocolate and one vanilla, but also beautiful. The design we chose was one that had hundreds of tiny white icing flowers all over it. It was really delicate, but really beautiful! I loved the pictures, and I loved how good it tasted!

I was a little afraid about picking a company to make my wedding cake. I was planning my wedding from Michigan and we were getting married in Florida. Most cake companies want you to come in a taste different cakes that they make. Luckily this company had a great website to view. They made the perfect cake! It was exactly what I wanted! Actually it was better than what I hoped for.

We wanted a non-so-traditional wedding cake. We wanted something colorful and classy. We gave a picture of the cake we liked to Cakes on the Dot and explained the color... and we got a cake that was IDENTICAL to what we wanted. I also went behind my husbands back and got him a grooms cake. He's a big parrothead, so I asked Cakes on the Dot what they were able to do for a "Cheeseburger in paradise" themed cake. She drew a cake and came up with these adorable ideas, and I fell in love. I was so super excited to see how it turned out. It beyond exceeded my expectations. It was magnificent!! Cute little cheeseburgers made out of vanilla wafers and icing, and sharks and fish swimming around the cake, brown sugar for the sand.. it was so cute! Oh and the flavors! That was the hardest part, trying to decide the flavors! My husband likes more fruity flavors while I'm more of a chocolate gal. We had a 3 tier cake so we both got to have what we wanted. Marble cake with chocolate bavarian cream and devils food choc cake with raspberry filling. The grooms cake was french vanilla with the raspberry filling. He said that was the best cake he's ever had. I think my bav. choc. cream was the best... but didn't matter.. It all came from the same place, CAKES ON THE DOT 100% recommended!

The Cake was Exactly what I asked for and tasted Great! The staff was wonderful! They knew my name after the first time I came in to visit.

Cakes on the Dot did a great job on our cake! It was soo beautiful and everything I expected! Would highly recommend!

Phenomenal. Would definately do business with again. We still stop by every now and again for some home baked goodies. This was the one vendor we really just signed and never worried about again. Everything was perfect and incredibly professional. Could not recommend highly enough.

My wedding cake was amazing! It was exactly what I wanted and in my price range. The cake was delicious! I would recommend them to anyone!

Cake was excellent. My only problem is that they did not bring the beautiful cake stand I rented, so my cake ended up on cardboard. They refunded my money, but I would have much rather had the stand...I still get mad when I look at my wedding pictures.
