Cakes Plus was Amazing! I did not have an appointment scheduled when I went in for a testing, but the ladies at the store worked with me by allowing me to take cupcakes back for myself and my fiance to sample. The price for our 3 tier cake was very reasonable.The flavor and quality of the cake was delicious. They were able to incorporate all of the design elements that I asked for as well. I would definitely suggest Cakes Plus to anyone who is looking for quality service, great tasting cake, and good prices.

Cakes Plus was wonderful to work with, and the cake was exactly as we envisioned - and absolutely delicious, too! Their cake tasting was very informal and fun, the people easy to work with, and we had all sorts of choices for flavors and looks. Their prices were very reasonable, especially for their excellent quality. The cake was delivered as promised, and enjoyed by all!

Cakes Plus was amazing. I went to order my two-tiered wedding cake on Valentine's Day which was ridiculous on my part because they were BUSY on that day! However the lady took my order after i looked through their books which was extentive and thorough. I picked a round wedding cake however i wanted a square version which i didn't know how it was going to work out however i was hopeful. I had already tasted their cupcakes which was delicious. Needless to say the day of the wedding when i saw the cake, i was so happy. The cake was beautifully decorated and when we cut into it, IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! The cake was decorated so well. They placed my ribbons around the cake and it matched my colours so well. And they placed yellow roses on the cake which was fantastic! I would definitely use Cakes Plus Inc. again!

I learned of Cakes Plus when I was looking for a bakery for my wedding cake. After researching others, I went to Cakes Plus after a friend's suggestion, and decided that this was who would make my cake. The cake was delicious and looked exactly the way I wanted. Many guests commented on how delicious the cake was and how beautiful it looked. I was very happy to get a delicious SILVER wedding cake at a reasonable price. Exactly what I wanted!

Great place - very reasonably priced. I saved a lot by picking up my cake myself the day before my wedding (got married on a Sunday in VA - the delivery fee would have been hefty) and the cake was very safely packed and came with instructions to easily set it up and pack up the top layer when finished. When I placed the order for the cake, I mentioned that I hadn't been able to try my exact combination and the saleswoman sent me home with cupcakes, filling, and icing so that my fiance and I could sample our wedding cake. It tasted and looked great.

My family has been getting cakes here for MANY years. They were so easy to work with even though we ordered the cake about a month and a half ahead of time. They even delivered the cake for free since they were so close to our venue. we got their red velvet cake and it was delicious. Many guests commented how good the icing was!

The cake tasted amazing and it was beautiful. There where two things that bothered me. First, they didn't place our fresh flowers on the cake for us.We had to do that ourselves. We also had a very small cake and they did not offer delivery to us. I should have asked but I figured it would have been pricey and it was a small cake. Well on our way to the venue there was bad traffic and a lot of stop and go. During that time the top layer of the cake shifted and the design was ruined. I am not sure if this had anything to do with how the cake was made. It turned out ok and the venue fixed it as much as they could. I would recommend asking if they can deliver even if it is a small cake. I will give them five stars on taste though, it was very moist and the icing wasn't to sugary.

Cake was amazing! No complaints, the cake was delievered on time, it looked the way it was supposed to and was delicious! Thanks cake plus! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The cake was great. We ordered a grooms cake to look like a Capitals hockey puck and it looked better than we could have thought it would. The cakes were wonderful. The only problem we had is we ordered one of the layers to be Vanilla with chocolate filling that wasn't there but other than that it was great. We loved every bite.

Cakes Plus made an excellent cake for our wedding that we got several compliments on. The red velvet was our favorite and the guests loved it too! Although wedding cakes are pricey, we had a smaller layered cake with a sheet cake in the back and it cut back the cost by several hundred dollars. Just a tip.I would definitely recommend Cakes Plus to anyone.

Cakes Plus makes a delicious cake, moist and not over-sweet. They are a little more expensive, but well worth it. The staff is very professional, personable, and helpful. They have lots of flavors, decorating options, and accessories.

Cakes Plus made our wedding cake. It was exactly what I wanted and it tasted delicious. They have free cake tastings every Saturday. It's a fun way to spend your day doing wedding errands. They have lots of flavors to choose from and even more kinds of fillings. The cake turned out great.

Cakes Plus in Laurel, MD. The cakes are beautiful and every Saturday from 10-5 they have cake tastings. They are upper in price, but it also depends the size of the cake you want.

Was a bit expensive; but all wedding cake vendors that I contacted were expensive. Cakes are simply delicious!

The cake was expensive but well worth the price. We had yellow cake and red velvet and everyone loved it! The tasting at the store was easy and the reps there are very pleasant and helpful! A wonderful experience!

Cake Plus incorporated design concepts from 3 cakes that we wanted. The cake looked awesome, but most importantly it was absolutely delicious. We had people going up for 2nds and everybody was raving about how good the cake was. We will definitely go back again for future cake needs.Brigit Davis

The cake tasted wonderful and looked beautiful. They made exactly what I wanted and the cake itself was moist and delicious!The consultant was very easy to work with and made great suggestions. She explained that the easiest way to pick a cake takes only 3 steps:1. What shape of cake do you want? (round, square, heart, etc.)2. Do you want the cakes stacked right one top of one another or separated?3. What colors and kinds of decorations would you like?This made me feel so much more comfortable picking out a cake and it was a lot less overwhelming. The staff was great!

Cakes Plus is actually contracted through our caterer so we didn't have to pay them directly. However, the cake was wonderful and the staff was great when it came to making our selections and any last minute changes to included the color and cake topper.

We heard about Cakes Plus from a friend who had used them for their wedding. We absolutely loved our wedding cake! It actually tasted great, was very reasonably priced (we shopped around a lot) and the cake was made exactly as we wanted it. It looked great and tasted even better which was very important to us.

Cakes plus has the best cake ever. The price is GREAT, I know because I shopped around. They were able to make my wedding cake and grooms cake look exactly like the picture I showed them using buttercream icing. Which was very difficult because of the intricate designs we choose. They made buttercream look like fondant icing. The cake was so moist. Both cakes stayed moist for 2 weeks after the wedding. Everyone loved the cake and went back for several slices.

We did a small cake on top and cupcakes for everyone else. They have tastings (free) every Saturday and the customer service was great. We paid around $150 for an 8-inch cake and 125 cupcakes. Everything was delicious and beautiful, but the cake was not what I described. Beautiful-but wrong. At least it was pretty though!

This is the best tasting cake! Love it and so did all the guests. We got lots of compliments on how great it tasted. Both my wedding cake and the groom's cake were beautifully decorated - perfection! Very reasonable on price also. The only reason I can't give Cakes Plus 5 stars across the board is that the groom's cake was supposed to be spice cake, and we got marble cake instead. However, when I called after the wedding, I was give a refund of the cake's cost with no hassle. I will definitely use them again for other cakes.

Everyone talked about how great the cake looked and tasted. We even had a few people call and ask where we got the cake from. My husband and I love Cake's plus so when it came to selecting a wedding cake vendor we knew right away who we would choose. They were very flexible and even when there was a mishap with the ribbon I wanted for the cake, they took care of it. I was so glad that they were a preferred vendor of the reception site. They were great to work with. Be sure to go in for a tasting, even if you know what flavors you want because the cake is soooo good.

Cake was very good. Nothing too fancy, but that isn't what we wanted. They can do pretty much anything you want though. We had chocolate and vanilla. We were pleased.

I used Cakes Plus in Laurel Maryland to do wedding cupcakes for my wedding and the flavors were delicious.Cakes Plus has a variety of flavors all are very very tasty and the price is really reasonable.The cup ckaes were the hit of the dessert selection.I will use the for all my dessert needs .

We loved our cake. Working with the people at Cake Plus was wonderful, from the tasting, to the design. When I saw my cake at the reception I was blown away. I would defintely use Cake Plus for another event and recommend them to friends.

We did cupcakes for our guests with a small cake to cut....if you have ever had a Cakes Plus cake....there is no explanation needed....they are just amazing....If you haven't had one of there cakes....order one or stop in for a cupcake...we have made up holidays and reasons to have a cake!!!!Every family/friend event is a Cakes Plus event for us....

My family has used Cakes Plus for birthdays and special occasions since my sixteenth birthday when they were the only ones in a close proximity to my home that would put the )Snow White's) Seven Dwarfs on a birthday cake. That was thirteen years ago and my family has continued to use them whenever we needed a cake for a special occassion. So, when I got engaged, it was my first thought to use Cakes Plus. As I began my planning I knew exactly what I wanted done on the cake- it was an intriquitly detailed celtic knot that I knew Cakes Plus could pull off and that they did! The cake was beautiful and perfectly matched the design I had given them. Above the look of the cake and all of the special designs we have thrown at them over the years- they make possibly the best tasting cake in the Washington Metropolitan area. I could not have been more happy with what they pulled together for my wedding. I would highly reccomend them to anyone who asked.

Cakes Plus has the best cakes! I used to be a Tiffanies lover but since I tasted the cakes form cakes Plus I fell in love.

My cake was exactly what I wanted. Cakes Plus has the most delicious cake around. We had trouble deciding on what flavor we wanted because there were so many choices and all of them were scrumptious. Free cake tasting drew us in and then we decided immediately. The cake was beautiful... exactly what I asked for down to the very last detail.

I loved our wedding cake. It was perfect, and our guests were very complimentary of the cake. I had them put chocolate seashells around my cake because I had a beach themed wedding, and they came out perfect! I would 100 percent reccomend them to other brides! The only thing I wish they would change is more options of times for the tastings. When I got my cake, they only did tastings on Saturdays, and they are SOOOO busy on Saturdays with people picking up cakes. It is kind of crazy. But, still a great cake nonetheless!!

Prices were kind of outrageous.. but so was everywhere else. The cake turned out beautifully. They even deliveredto the Church on a Sunday (they are closed on Sundays) ... for an extra fee of course.

Cakes Plus did an excellent job in providing many options for the design of my wedding cake. They were professional and easy to talk with to work out a plan and color scheme for my cake. Besides being absolutely delicious, the cake was just as I had described that I wanted and was delivered on time. I would recommend Cakes Plus 100%.

I found the types of cakes were limited, but the cake was delivered on time, in the exact advertised condition, and it looked and tasted good.

Cakes Plus is the ONLY place I EVER get cakes of any kind! They did a perfect job on my cake. It was ordered easily, delivered on time and I even changed practically everything the day before the wedding and it came out better than I had expected!!! As always a superb experience!!!

The cake was very very very good! Everyone loved it. I do like that they only have 5 or so different types of cakes, and a few icings. No fancy filling and other things, which made it alot easier to choose. I think it also was more appealing to my guests. My cake had 3 tiers, all different flavors. At the end of the wedding there was absolutly no cake left, good thing I didn'nt but take home cake caontainers.

This place does excellent service. There cakes are very good. I, however, did not have a wedding cake. We decided to do wedding cupcakes. Much easier to give out instead of someone cutting slices. We did the whole feed each other and everything. Cakes Plus cupcakes were very good and very affordable. They custom decorate the way you want. They make designs on it.

The wedding cake tasted great. I think the price was reasonable compared to other places. However, I did not like the level of service I recieved when I was making the cake order. It took nearly 1 hour and a half to speak to someone and it was very busy. I would have liked to recieve a more profesional service. The cake however came out beautiful and they delivered it on time.

Cakes Plus really know their stuff. I always wanted a wedding cake that actually tasted good! And it did! They delivered on the cake I have always wanted and everyone enjoyed it. We used Cakes Plus for the bridal shower and the rehearsal dinner. I highly recommended them for any special occasion. And their prices can't be beat! If you want great tasting cake and a good value, stop by Cakes Plus!

This is an absolutely amazing place to get your wedding cake. you will not be disappointed at all. every time i go by there, even now, i have to run in for atleast a cupcake. we did not have a large cake at all. we had a cake just for my husband and i. our guests had other treats to eat.

The best. I buy a cake from this heavenly store regularly so of course I had to have them make my wedding cake. I brought in a pic from a magazine and that was it! The cakes can be a bit on the pricey side, especially if you are having a large cake made with lots of decorations, but as I'm one of their "Cakes Plus Fanatics", it was well worth the money.

Chose this one for the good price and the very pretty cake. The cake didn't taste as great as others I had tasted, but it was still good. My caterer added a strawberry sauce to each plate after the cake was cut, which added a little something. They do make you pay in full in advance, which I was a little worried about, but it arrived on time and looked great.

Cakes Plus had a huge selection and worked to provide me with exactly what I wanted. They also had a great selection of cake topppers which I was unable to find anywhere else!

Great cake! Perhaps a separate area for ordering wedding or big event cakes would be helpful.

I highly recommend Cakes Plus to any bride. The company is very professional and worked with me when I had to make any changes. The cake was delicious and when I throw an event in a few weeks I will be ordering three cakes from them!!!

The cake was phenominal in taste, appearance, everything! we long to go back this year and celebrate our 10th anniversary with a cake from here!
