everyone complimented on my flowers and decor. leanne was very helpful with her suggestions throughout the whole wedding process... and her rates were one of the most reasonable... she was great!

I cannot even describe how above and beyond our florist went. We worked with a woman named Leanne and her company, Callalily. She was more than fabulous. All of my wedding dreams really came true through Leanne’s ideas and creations. After a referral from a family friend of mine and meeting with quite a few other vendors, we decided to work with Leanne. We felt the most comfortable and most at ease with Leanne. She was very down to earth and very nice.

Not to mention, her budget was very reasonable, in fact, I think we got away with a steal working with her. I cannot reemphasize how above and beyond my expectations the flowers were. Initially, some of the other florists we met with were asking for nearly double what Leanne did for us.

It seemed as if Leanne really cares about her clients and the work that she puts forth. As our wedding got closer, she met with us a few weeks before the wedding to look at the ceremony site as well as the reception hall. She was very organized and always very professional and prompt. She took down some notes and reviewed with us the flowers we had discussed.

In all of the chaos leading up to my wedding, I completely forgot to ask Leanne for flowers for my hair. Around 9am, I called Leanne to ask if by any chance she would be able to put together some flowers for my hair. It was no problem for her.

A few hours later, the flowers arrived to our suite, escorted by Leanne. I was so excited to see the bouquets and all of the boutonnières for the family.

Leanne then went to help set up the ceremony site. I know that Sutro Heights Park is on the complete opposite side of town from the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, so we really appreciated all of the work her and her family did for our wedding.

I was BLOWN AWAY by Leanne. Blown away. The flowers were amazing. Words cannot even express. The tall centerpieces remain one of my favorite things about the reception.

Our color scheme was "lots of color." I gave Leanne some inspiration photos, specifically for my bouquet, and we talked a little bit about what I was looking for. Over the course of the next year, I changed my mind about the tall centerpieces, and Leanne was totally understanding and awesome about it. She came up with her own creative spin on things, which turned out FANTASTIC. For example, I am an illustrator and illustrated our table numbers--she asked if I could create little tags out of the drawings so we could hang them from the centerpieces. I wasn't sure how it would end up looking, but it was AWESOME.

Leanne is truly an artist. I am so thrilled with what she did for our wedding!

CallaLily is basically a one woman operation, and that operation is her house in Castro Valley. That's a good thing - I'm sure the lack of overhead keeps costs down. I was initally interested in CallaLily because I'd heard CallaLily could festoon my wedding in flowers for a little over $1000. My final flower cost was around $1500 (but I also chose tall centerpieces, a flower-covered arch, and other things that not all weddings need).

Leanne (that's the one woman in the one woman operation) did an incredible job. I was speechless when I saw how beautiful the floral arrangements were at the wedding. They weren't simply flowers sticking out of a vase. The centerpieces consisted of submerged pink flowers in tall cylindrical hurricane glasses. They were surrounded by smaller hurricane glasses holding floating candles and other submerged flowers and grasses. They looked amazing - I even had some guests take pictures of them for the future for their kids of wedding age.

Another floral arrangement I particularly loved consisted of manzanita branches with glued on orchid blossoms. Some blossoms were in small glass containers filled with water suspended from the branches. They were beautiful and innovative, and I've really never seen anything quite like them. Only $50 for that display, too!

The bouquets had beautiful colored green and pink blossoms (she really picked great flowers), and the bridesmaid bouquets looked perfect. My only (small) disappointment was that the bridal bouquet wasn't more of a stunner, especially since it was $155. (Although centerpieces and bridesmaid bouquets were priced lower than other floral designers, the bridal bouquet was on par with others.) This was a very minor quibble though since it was still very beautiful.

I made the mistake of ordering 7 centerpieces instead of 9. Leanne took it in stride and created two extra centerpieces for the tables and didn't charge me. She didn't have to do that and really went the extra mile.

She also made lots of suggestions before the wedding as to how to cut costs and re-use flowers (my arch flowers and aisle flowers were all re-used on the sweetheart table, the cake table, and the missing centerpiece tables). She even threw in an arrangement in the bathroom for free.

I was really blown away by Leanne's design aesthetic and professionalism. One of the reasons I chose her was that she was innovative and creative, which I could see on her website.She also draws the neatest little sketches so you really have a feel for what she has in mind.

Of my excellent wedding vendors, she was the best. And for the price? Incredible.
