Overall I am extremely please with Mary. She was affordable, yet her quality still remains high. She was responsive to all of my emails and questions and flexible with the small things that come up. She was easy to work with and her pictures turned out great. I would recommend her to other brides. My complaint would be that I wish she had gotten a few photos that were missed, like my dad lifting my veil. But she got plenty of other ones and then some.

I know it seems cliche to give a 5.0, but she really is that great. She has taken both family pictures and 2nd birthday pictures for me. She is so flexible, and was even willing to change our date an our before our scheduled shoot because it was looking a little gloomy outside. Our pictures come out so clear and her editing is very professional. One of the qualities that puts Callan Tinsley ahead of the rest if her knack of being professional and silly at the same time. She makes you feel very comfortable.

My name is Mary Louise and I am the owner of Tinsley Photography. I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. I inherited a love for photography from my father, who unfortunately passed away in 2000. I remember my father always carried a
camera, and, for as long as I can remember, I have also had a camera by my side.
In June of 2008, I became a Marine wife when I married my high-school sweetheart, Vincent. Being married to the military has opened a whole new world to me. We have two dogs that complete our little family. Rocky is a
two-year-old lovable mutt and Maddux is a one-year-old spunky Cairn Terrier. We currently call both Jacksonville, NC, and Columbia, SC, home.
If I had to describe myself I would say that I am a very passionate and loyal person and I have a very eclectic and outgoing personality. Give me Chuck Taylors over high heels any day. I work better with Jack Johnson playing in
the background and I have a weak spot for vintage necklaces. I trust my 80 year-old grandmother to pick out clothes for me and I have the best family a girl could ever ask for.
My personality can also be seen in the more candid, free flowing shots that I prefer to formal, posed sessions. Laughing couples, and crying children are the most beautiful forms of art that life gives us. It is my
desire to capture all of life’s unforgettable moments.
In my photographer’s bag of tricks are a Nikon D700, Nikon D90 (with 55mm, 105mm, 200mm, and 300mm lenses), SB600 & SB900 Speedlight flash. But, my first love will always be my father’s 35mm Olympus.
There is something magical about developing my own pictures in a dark room, but the digital world is slowly winning over this photographer’s heart.
Photography is an art form. I love being able to capture memories that would be otherwise lost to time. Incorporating still life into a shoot is a must.
