Calligraphy by Ella

Our calligrapher, Ella was hired on VERY SHORT notice ~ the day AFTER we fired our other calligrapher

** ( because she was so unbelievably rude in her emails )

Ella had no problem meeting with us right away & we booked her immediately - her level of artistic ability is ASTOUNDING !

Her MANY, MANY calligraphy examples were WONDERFUL & exactly what we had been looking for , originally

*** ( our fired calligrapher told us that she only had " one style " )

Her prices are reasonable & her availability & willingness to add / adjust or delete guests from lists was a GODSEND- since people always have things come up & it just can't be helped.


PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL fall colored ink for our Fall theme- an INCREDIBLE job on a massive- size seating chart - with additional artwork on the borders, an insert for our guest ~ sign in book.

****( which had to be replaced because of the poor quality of work from the other calligrapher , who used a " sharpie " calligraphy pen ..? )

EVERYTHING about this artist / calligrapher was SIMPLY excellent - friendly, warm- personality, professional & proficient!

She emailed me several " test- runs " to get the look we wanted & it was GREAT!
