I decided two days before I was supposed to mail out my invitations that the outer (and only) envelope desperately needed calligraphy. I found Katrina on my local Craigslist board and was impressed by her reasonable prices and promise of a speedy turnaround. For an additional 10% above her normal prices, she could get my envelopes back to me within 5 days! And that she did. The calligraphy was beautiful and I have already received several compliments. Also, when some envelopes were missing (due to miscommunication), Katrina was more than willing to re-do them. She even went so far as to buy the same envelopes at Paper Source so I wouldn't have to mail blank ones to her! I highly recommend Katrina. She is very professional and responsive and her work is beautiful!

We just got our beautifully done invitations back from Katrina and I am SO lucky to have found her here on projectwedding.com. Not only is she reasonably priced, honest, fast, and attentive, the girl knows her stuff! She is very knowledgeable about calligraphy, and the entire wedding stationary process. I had the best time working with her and we are now using her for other projects for the wedding. Did I mention her work is AMAZING! She uses her own natural handwriting, it wasn't taught by anyone, this is really how she writes! There are four or five fonts to choose from, all lovely, so much in fact that I had the hardest time picking out which one I liked best. But with her help, we chose the best one suited for my invitations. I would recommend her to any bride out there that wants top quality work but doesn't want to pay the "L.A. wedding" prices. She will work with you, answer all your questions, and she even wraps presents (btw -- I've seen her work and it is also very good). She was very accommodating when we told her we needed our invitations rushed, she did them in one day, and they are perfect!! Better than I ever expected. Thanks Katrina!!!!

I was referred to Katrina from a close friend. She is currently building her portfolio. She is very talented and easy to work with. Her work is professional and beautiful. At first I was planning to DIY or use clear labels but after discussing with Katrina what I wanted and the inexpensive price I decided to go with her. I gave her 80 outer envelopes yesterday evening and it was ready for pick up this morning. I highly recommend Katrina.
Update: 09/25/07 Katrina has amazed me once again. She wrote out my rehearsal invitations and OOT favor cards. They were beautiful.

Katrina is awesome. She did a great job on our inner & outer envelopes for our invites. I received many compliments on them. Her rates are also far better than anyone else in LA. We liked her so much that we plan on using her again for seating cards, menus, and table numbers. I also want to mention how cool, calm, and collected she is, even when I'm a hectic mess! She's totally flexible - all vendors should be this easy to work with!!

We just picked up our invitation envelopes from Katrina and they are absolutely beautiful! I was originally planning on printing the envelopes myself, but after reading reviews of Katrina, I decided to meet with her to discuss calligraphy. Her prices are so reasonable and her work is amazing! She sat with us for an hour, going over different writing styles and doing sample after sample for me until I saw exactly what I wanted. She is also so fast and extremely patient with all of the guest/address changes that come up. I will be going back to her shortly for my place cards!

My fiancé found Katrina on Craig’s list. Katrina was attentive, prompt, thorough, very reasonably priced and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, does absolutely beautiful calligraphy. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone! She really did a fantastic job and we could not be happier.

After reading great reviews about Katrina and her calligraphy on Project Wedding, my fiance and I decided to meet with Katrina in-person to see her work. Katrina's work was gorgeous AND affordable! I wasn't sure I was able to fit calligraphy into my budget, but her prices allowed me to do so. I didn't even have to sacrafice quality for the price; what a great find!

Not only was Katrina fast with her work, but very accurate and responsive to my last-minute adds. Every envelope looked so elegant and I've received so many compliments from guests already. Someone even thought Katrina's gorgeous work was a computer font! My future sister-in-law is even going to book Katrina for her wedding invitations after seeing mine. We highly, highly recommend Katrina.

My fiance and I are very easy to please and knew we just wanted nicely-printed envelopes. We hadn't thought any further than that. When we met with Katrina, she took over an hour w/us to detail all of the different fonts, layouts, etc. that we could choose - even things we had never even thought about. She was super helpful in doing samples right there so we could determine exactly what we wanted. We were able to meet with her the very next weekend to get our envelopes back and they look beautiful! She also goes above and beyond - since getting our envelopes back we realized there were a few more we needed and we aren't able to meet w/her so we mailed her the invitations and she's going to address them and put them in the mail for us. So nice. Additional handwritten elements we hadn't even thought we wanted - menus, escort cards, gift tags, etc. - we are now seriously considering just because we want more beautiful touches to our day courtesy of Katrina. We highly recommend!

Katrina is an AMAZING calligrapher and she is incredibly personable and sweet. She’s one of the most accommodating people I’ve met and her prices are REASONABLE! We met in Pasadena at a coffee shop where she showed me her whole portfolio and answered all my questions. Her work is STUNNING and the envelopes I received look fabulous! I am a really picky person and I was more than totally satisfied with her work. She went through all the different fonts she could use and how many lines to use, how much spacing, which color font (gold or bronze), etc. She’s very detailed oriented and meticulous. She follows up promptly and is available when I needed to make last minute changes. I learned she’s an incredibly talented and gifted person who is pursuing her passion and I wish her the best in all her endeavors.

Katrina's work is beautiful and her prices are reasonable. I had my invitation envelopes addressed by her and they turned out beautifully. I have gotten a lot of compliments from my guests. She is also very sweet and accommodating. I need 3 other envelopes addressed and she was willing to meet me and did the envelopes on the spot. Highly recommended!

Katrina did my Save the Dates and everyone LOVED how the envelopes looked. Her work is the prettiest in the area, her prices are great, and I got them back in under a week. She's also super sweet and VERY accurate! I'll be using her for my invitations later this month.

We used Katrina to address our wedding invitations. I truley appreciated the prompt response from Katrina. We emailed her on a Sunday night and she responded Monday morning. We met that same night and she completed all the invitations (about 75) within an hour or so. And don'be fooled, just because she's fast at what she does, does not mean the work suffers...the envelopes looked absolutlely beautiful. I definitely recommend her services.

Katrina is a real artist! I gave her envelopes for more than one hundred guests around noon, and she finished addressing them the same day. It was hard to believe. I still think she may have several tiny calligraphy elves working for her. I knew her work was beautiful, but the true difference in our talents was driven home when I tried to complete the last envelope myself. She had written the names on the envelope, but I didn't obtain the address until later, so I had to try to match her work. The result was hilarious. My fiancee and I were still laughing about it the next morning, and wondering whether the post office would be able to deliver that invitation at all. The moral of this story: if you do not use Katrina, your wedding will be a complete failure and you will die unmarried and friendless. Chuck.
