A few months ago, I found an ad on here for wedding cakes and cupcakes, by a home business called Cambridge Cupcake Co. I met with the woman who runs the company, signed a contract with her for a groom's cake and paid her upfront, as the contract designated for cakes under $200. I paid this woman $115 upfront with a contract. She was responsive until the day of the wedding, when she never showed up with my cake. This was supposed to be a groom's cake, a gift for my new husband, and I had nothing. I have tried contacting her several times, both by email and by phone, in the last two months and have been ignored everytime. She and her husband do not respond and I have not gotten my money back. I wanted to post this in case they try getting business from Craigslist again. Please proceed with caution! I was incredibly disappointed on my wedding day, and even more so that I can't even get my money back. Do not buy from this woman, even if she comes out to do a tasting! She will not follow through. I saw a second review like this on www.onewed.com, so I don't think I'm the only person who has been cheated.

Shannon from Cambridge Cupcake was amazing and easy to work with. She coordinated our cupcakes to match my weddng colors and even offered to decorate our cupcake stand for a minimal overcharge. They looked fantastic the day of. I didn't even get to try the cupcakes because everyone had eaten them by the time I got to the stand. She made a cake for us at the top of the stand though that was amaaaazing. Thanks Shannon! All my friends were asking where I got them made and so I've already started referring you!
I cannot rant and rave enough about Cambridge Cakes and Bakes! I could not find someone to make an impromptu wedding cake at the very last moment until I called Shannon. Within just 5 days, she was able to create the cake of my dreams! I wanted a red velvet cake flavor, but I wanted the color to be fuschia to match my wedding colors. She was able to do this and my cake turned out to be more than ever expected! It was BEAUTIFUL and tasted so good! The service was wonderful and warm and the price I got for my cake was unbeatable! Now, I am expecting my first child and will always call Shannon for ALL my cake needs each year of my child's life and for all those special moments.
Hands down, you make the best cakes that I have ever tasted. I was worried that honestly nobody would be able to pull off the hard designs that I requested, but you went above and beyond to make sure that our cake was the one of our dreams. It was so much better than we had even envisioned. Thank you so much!
The best tasting cakes ever. You can't possibly go wrong with Cambridge Cakes. The prices are good and the cake is even better. I'm so glad we found them.
My wedding was perfect even down to the last detail. I had a 6 layer tier cake with fondant and lots of detail and design. The cake turned out beautiful! My parents even suggested that we not cut it because it was a beautiful piece of art. We had a different flavor and filling for each tier and I can't even put into words how good each cake tasted individually. They were all delicious, moist and just a treat for your taste buds. This was the BEST vendor that I dealt with throughout my entire wedding planning. Shannon Shacka was patient, understanding and extremely professional. She made us feel like she genuinely cared about our satisfaction. And boy, were we MORE than satisfied!!!!!

We ask that you book your cake tasting session at least 3 months in advanced, although this is not required. We do require a 40% down payment to hold the date and the cake order must be confirmed and paid in full 2 weeks before the event.
