They did amazing as well. There was a car accident on the way to my wedding that completely destroyed my cake. They were somehow able to remake it right away (I heard they make extra cake layers in your flavors just in case?) and I never even realized there was a problem until the very end of the night when Daniel told me about it. It all looked great and exactly like I ordered even though it was rushed. In fact I think it might look better than I expected, they made the swirls on the cake look exactly like my dress instead of the generic swirls I ordered. The cake tasted awesome as well, even Daniel liked it and he does not like cake. The strawberry layer was gone before I even had a chance to try it. They even threw in a certificate for a free 1 year anniversary cake and 2 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries for the inconvenience of my cake being late, which I didn’t even notice! Even though they aren’t very personal during the planning since they do so many cakes, I’m glad they are so experienced and were able to handle the hiccup.

Our wedding cakes were so beautiful and so delicious. Candy Haven was a pleasure to work with, very easy to communicate with and did a great job. The cakes were just how we discussed and the tasted so good!! Thanks for the great cakes!

They had beautiful designs and captured exactly what we wanted. I have food allergies and they were able to offer me a gluten free wedding cake. I would recommend them to anyone needing a great cake.

Candy Haven did a good job with the cakes. They came out amazing. However, they skimped a little on the raspberry filling for the groom's cake, which we were really looking forward to. However, the cakes looked great, and tasted great as well. They stay pretty busy, so it isn't always easy to get hold of them when you need to. But they get everything taken care of, so no real complaints here. Considering Harmony Chapel gives you a cake credit towards Candy Haven, this place is a great value!

Candy Haven did an amazing job with our bride and groom's cakes. Jane and her staff were helpful, and whenever I had a question, they answered my emails immediately. The bride's cake was beautiful! I asked them to match the design on our invitations, and it came out even better than I expected. My husband wanted a Nintendo controller for his groom's cake, and it looked awesome. We ended up with a smaller bride's cake than originally intended because our final head count was lower than expected. They called me the week of the wedding to make sure I was aware that the head count would change the cake size, and gave me the option to add the third tier if I wanted. Since we decided to just stick with the smaller cake, I had a $5.00 credit for tinted icing that they offered to refund or give us 15 chocolate covered strawberries for the groom's cake. I thought it was nice that they gave us the option because the strawberries are usually $1.00/strawberry, and who doesn't like a chocolate covered strawberry? We had 3 different cake flavors and fillings in total, and they all tasted as good as they looked.

Fantastic service and everything was exactly as ordered and delivered on time. We got 3 different flavors of cake and they were all delicious! The cakes were beautiful and everyone enjoyed them.

Our wedding cake and groom's was beautiful and tasted wonderful too. Our decorator Kristin did an exceptional job of recreating exactly what we asked for and it was spectacular.

Candy Haven is known as not having the cheapest cakes, for sure. But their cakes are delicious, and well worth the money. Our problem came about a week before the wedding when they told us that they would be delivering the cake early in the day because an employee's daughter was getting married that night and they wanted to attend the wedding. I politely told them that there would be no one at the venue at that time, and the cake table would not even be setup yet. I was met with resistance and repeated phone calls from various employees regarding this, to the point where I had to direct them to call the caterer (and table and linen supplier) to coordinate the delivery. Again, though, the final product looked and tasted great, so all is well that ends well!

This place made the best cakes I have ever tasted! We got a 4 tier cake for me with 3 different flavors and a 2 tier grooms cake with 2 flavors. They were beautiful and exactly what I wanted them to look like! Every single person has told me how they have never had a better cake at a wedding!

The cakes for our wedding were perfect! We had the champagne cake with raspberry filling for my cake and red velvet with cream cheese filling for the groom's cake. Both were so incredibly delicious! They also looked wonderful. The staff at Candy Haven were so nice to work with. I ended up changing my design a couple of weeks before the wedding and they were very flexible. Not to mention, the prices are excellent for such high quality wedding cakes. You get a free cake tasting and consultation. It was nice to be able to bring my mom and maid of honor along for that too. I can't recommend candy haven enough!!

My wedding cakes turned out absolutely gorgeous and they tasted wonderful! They were very helpful and patient during our consultation and took care of everything else after that. They contacted my venue and set up delivery time and everything else which is so helpful to a busy bride!

The cakes were fabulous and our guests loved them, especially my guy's cake! We didn't get to eat but a bite but it was tasty and my mom said that Harmony Chapel wrapped up the leftover and everyone ate it for the next three days. I guess we'll get to try it again at our anniversary! Our only issue, and it was small, was that our salesgirl didn't know everything and had to go ask other people about a couple of things. But they were very helpful and we couldn't have been more happy with how pretty mine turned out and how cool his was. Highly reccommend.

Candy Haven was excellent! We only got one bite of cake, but all of our guests said that the cake was wonderful!

Both of our cakes were a hit! They both turned out beautifully and tasted amazing. We received so many compliments on how good the cakes tasted. I had a traditional white bride's cake and my husband chose a poker-themed cake, I thought the price would shoot up when my husband wanted to customize his cake, but I think it was only about $10 extra...amazing! Very happy with the turnout!

I LOVED my bridal cake and the cake tasted great and while everyone else thought the grooms cake was amazing it wasn’t quite what I wanted. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and they assured me many times (I asked on several occasions) if they could replicate it. They assured me they could and while the cake looked great it definitely wasn’t exactly what I was expecting

We were very limited on options for cakes as our sight required us to use Candy Haven. Luckily, I had heard great things about them before and even tasted their cake at a previous wedding. Setting up a tasting was easy, which was great since we were planning out wedding from out of town. We decided to change our design a few months before the wedding which was a bit of a hassle ...but in the end it all worked out. The cake ended up looking lovely and we had lots of compliments. Thank you!

All you need to know about this vendor is that we received 5 star treatment from start to finish!!!! Our cakes were BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

We loved our wedding cakes. They were exactly what we asked for in our consultation and they we're just lovely in appearance but they tasted soooooooooo good!

My husband loved his groom's cake, but there was a little mishap with one of the corners. The cake was a very hard cake creative wise, so just a little dent in the grand scheme of things was not so bad. The delivery girls did their best to fix it and the guest could not tell. The cakes themselves were very delicious and we received so many compliments on them both.

My cake was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. My fiance designed the brides cake and I the grooms cake. The hand drawn work on the cakes was absolutely the best. I can not thank them enough for the friendly professional environment, awesome set up at the venue and GREAT tasting flavors. No cardboard tasting wedding cakes at this place!

The cake was delicious. We had 5 flavors! Champagne, Butter Rum and Marble on the main cake and Strawberry and Chocolate on the grooms cake. It also looked beautiful. They were able to design my simple cake exactly as I asked and put a ghostbusters emblem on the grooms cake without using fondant just as we asked.

Candy Haven is absolutely tasty! They were quick to respond when I needed them and even changed my cake to fit my needs about a month before the wedding with no questions asked! They are quick and call right before they make it to go over everything. The cakes were delicious and the pricing was very reasonable! I would definately recommend Candy Haven Cakes to anyone!

Great place. Not only does the cake taste great they throw in the grooms cake for free. I asked them to make a dark purple sash for my cake and they were not sure if they could get it dark enough with out the fondent breaking but somehow they did it and my cake looked great. I would use them again for other occassions.

Candy Haven's cakes are delicious! Our wedding cake turned out absolutely beautiful and just like I envisioned. During the tasting, I appreciated that the Candy Haven employees let my husband and I sit in the back room and do our thing. I hate having people looking over my shoulder while I'm trying to critique their products! My only issue with Candy Haven is that I felt like I had to be very direct when it came to the design that I wanted. I made sure to bring in a picture, but I had to schedule another appointment to make sure that they understood what I wanted (since I was making some changes from the pictures). When I went in for the second meeting, they wanted to charge me for the "additional consultation." I wasn't going to have that, but when I explained the situation (that I hadn't yet officially picked a design, and therefore wasn't coming back because I changed my mind) they were quick to drop the charges.The cake turned out amazing, and I was completely thrilled with the results. After going over the design in detail, Candy Haven was able to create exactly what I wanted. The prices were the lowest I could find among established bakeries, too. I would definitely go back to Candy Haven.

Amazing! Our bride and groom cake was beautiful and tasted great!

I had quite a few problems with candy haven at the beginning. For example, during my cake testing, my husband and I felt as if they could have cared less about us. We honestly felt as if the associate was rude and she was extremely unhelpful when helping us pick out a cake. Then, when I went to cut the cake at the wedding, there was a huge air bubble in the top layer of the cake. But, the cake tasted wonderful and looked beautiful otherwise. After posting a review stating all of the things before, the owner, Jane, called me up and personally apologized. She expressed her sincere apologies and even did her very best to make up for the problem. She also expressed the wish that I had come to her. But since the cake was included with my wedding package, I did not feel as if I really could complain at the time. Needless to say she did her very best to make up for the problems I had.

I couldn't BELIEVE how AMAZING the cakes looked when we entered the reception on our big June 5th day!!! Without even a second meeting to discuss the cake plans - the first meeting was quick but quite detailed as we discussed what we wanted and the "cake artist" sketched as we described what we envisioned - Candy Haven went above and beyond our expectations! They created a three tiered wedding cake with twenty hand-crafted sugar peonies at the base, and each tier lined with a band that perfectly matched the band on my wedding dress. Each tier had a different, unqiue flavoring - all custom and delicious!! The grooms cake was chocolate with an EXACT replica of a TCU HORNED FROG! Guests from TCU were gawking at and gathering around the cake to take pictures all night! Additionally, Candy Haven's pricing was completely reasonable and on the cheaper side -which is always welcomed. :)

The cakes were very pretty, not as fantastic as I'd dreamed though. If you watch the cake shows on tv, they may disappoint. They were perfect for what we needed though, and the price was included in our payment to the Wildwood Inn, our ceremony/reception venue. Very cost effective and still good, though I wasn't blown away.

We used Candy Haven for our wedding cake & groom's cake. They were wonderful! I was very indecisive and didn't have a clear "vision" for my cake. They were patient and helped me make decisions. I'm glad I listened to their advice because the cake was beautiful. And it tasted great. It was fresh, moist, and our guests loved it. They have great prices, too. Candy Haven called me about a week before the wedding to go over the details again with me and make sure everything was correct. The staff is so nice. On our wedding day, I was looking around the venue to see how things were going. The delivery people were there setting up the strawberries on the groom's cake. They could tell I was eyeing them so they snuck one of the chocolate covered strawberries to me and I thought that was very nice of them. On the honeymoon, we talked about our cake several times and when we got back we went ahead and ate the top layer! I plan on going back to have another little cake made for our 1 year anniversary. My husband will be thrilled to have the amaretto cake again.

Candy Haven makes the best cake I have ever tasted. Getting to do a cake tasting for our cakes was so much fun and so delicious. Candy Haven exceeded my expectations for our wedding and grooms cake. They both turned out beautifully and not only did they look good, but they tasted amazing. The wedding cake was white chocolate with buttercream frosting and the grooms cake was chocolate with a fudge filling and chocolate buttercream frosting. The grooms cake had chocolate covered strawberries cascading down and a stawberry bride and groom...it was adorable. I can't think of a better local business to support and both cakes were a major hit with our guests.

The Cake was PERFECT!!! Beautiful and PERFECT!!! It is great when a cake is so pretty you don't even want to cut it. But with 200 guests looking at you really wanting cake, go ahead and cut and eat it!! It melts in your mouth!! The staff was also very helpful in choosing our flavor becaus I LOVE all things sweet and in the end wanted everything! :)

Candy Haven was wonderful. Jane Boyle takes great care of her customers. She has many different styles, flavors, and types of wedding cakes to choose from. Her inventory and selection is broad. She has flawless taste and delicious cakes!

The cost of the cake was included with my catering so I don't know what their prices are normally like. However, the cake was delicious and perfectly decorated. I left my cake topper for them at the reception venue and when I returned from the ceremony, my cake was there waiting. It was not only beautiful but tasty. The grooms cake was very attractive and delicious as well. I called the week before my wedding to make a few changes and they were willing to work with me. The cakes came out exactly as we wanted and that was one less thing to worry about on my wedding day.

This is a really good company. Our bride and groom cakes came out tasting delicious. We did have a few problems with the color of the flowers on the bridal cake being wrong along with the fillings. The cake still tasted good and was pretty, it just wasn't what we asked for. However, the company is currently working with us to figure out what went wrong and why. They have been very responsive on this part so far, but the issue hasn't been resolved yet. I wil update once we know what Candy Haven will do.**** Update **** I dealt with Jane and she actually gave us gift certificates to for use at either Candy Haven or Kolache Haven to make up for the mistake! What a treat we are going to have! I highly recommend Candy Haven - no one is perfect, but at least this company accepted their mistake and made good on it the best way they could!

What can I say Candy Haven is the best place for any kind of desert!! I grew up the the owner's son and had the privilage of getting the experience many of their cakes before my wedding. I always knew that this was the only place I would ever get my wedding cake from. The cake was so beautiful and so good!!! They have the best flavors and the just best everything. I love them, theey are so wonderful!! If you are having trouble finding a place to get you cake from just stop by and see what they have to offer and you will not be disappointed!! Promise!! :)

Very happy with our wedding cakes provided by candy haven. They were very nice and attentive to our tastes, and even went out of their way to make special cake/frosting flavors per our request. The cakes looked and tasted great!

Candy Haven's cakes were tasty. The bride's cake was truly beautiful. The groom's cake was also nice; however, we ordered a German chocolate cake but received chocolate. I didn't realize this until after the reception was over, but no one else knew what we had requested. The cake they did give us was still quite good, and it wasn't worth complaining about. Also, when the cakes were delivered, the groom's cake was to have chocolate shavings on top, but didn't. As soon as we called Candy Haven about it, they brought chocolate shavings (with choc. dipped strawberries for free) right out to decorate! They handled themselves professionally, but I would have felt better having been able to finalize my cake with them before the week of my wedding. I would recommend Candy Haven, particularly if your wedding will be in Denton, since they're so close.

Candy Haven did a custom design UT Longhorns grooms cake for me that was spectacular! Our wedding cake was also both beautiful and tasty. They happily accepted my change to the decorations with only two weeks to go. Wonderful chocolates, too!

I've been using Candy Haven for special occasion cakes for many years, so when it came time to choose a wedding cake, Candy Haven was my natural choice. They were SO easy to work with and everything was exactly as they promised. The cakes were both beautiful and I got many compliments on them. My only disappointment was that I didn't get to eat very much cake! ;-)

My wedding cake and groom's cake were very beautiful, and tasted fabulous. Everyone loved the cakes and told me so. My wedding was on a Sunday afternoon and I was very afraid that we would have to pick up the cakes and deliver them ourselves but they had 2 very nice employees deliver our cakes and set them up about 45 mins before the wedding. I would recommend Candy Haven to anyone, and I actually have already. Thanks for all the hard work you put into our cakes.

Amazing cakes - I had many compliments on how awesome they were. People that didn't even eat sweets much, had at least one of the three flavors. I couldn't have asked for more! They made it very simple from the cake tasting to delivering our cake it was awesome!! Thank YOU!

Our cakes were awesome! The grooms cake was much larger then we thought it would be and the other cake was absolutely stunning! The only thing was that the red velvet grooms cake was a little dry and did not taste like what we had in the tasting. But it was still worth it and it was so good!!

Our wedding cake was very dry and tasted either frozen or having been made several days in advance. The frosting "crunched" when we cut the cake! Several of the guests later informed us that the cake didn't taste like the white chocolate that we ordered. I had to tell the person who delivered and set up the cake that there was some decoration missing, which she later corrected. I wish I could say something nicer about this vendor, but I wouldn't recommend them or use them again. Nobody was impressed.

Our cake for my son's wedding was exactly what we had hoped for and requested. Delivery was on time.

All my husband and I wanted were delicious & simply cupcakes and Candy Haven delivered! We had to pick them up ourselves but they were nicely packed and convenient. The quality and flexibility of Candy Haven is very unique!

Our wedding and groom's cakes from Candy Haven were gorgeous and delicious! We were contracted with them through our ceremony and reception site and therefore didn't come into too much contact with them directly, but we didn't need to because everything turned out perfect! We only had one face-to-face meeting to discuss what we wanted and do a tasting but that's all they needed to provide us with our perfect cakes! I was a little upset at the end of the wedding because I only got a couple of bites of my cake and didn't even get to taste the groom's, but the leftovers made it home with us and I have been eating them everyday!!

Our cakes with Candy Haven were included in our contract with the Wildwood Inn. We went in to do the initial design about 5 months ahead since we were out of state. The sample cakes were gorgeous and the tasting was amazing! The person we met with helped us come up with a great design (3, one for each layer, different flavors for each) but in the end (about 2 weeks before the wedding) I called and asked them to simplify it and picked one of the 3 designs (still 3 flavors) for the top and bottom layers and our names going around the middle layer. For the grooms cake, we did the chocolate covered chocolate cheese cake with 30 chocolate covered strawberries. All we paid for was 2 extra chocolate covered strawberries that were done like a bride and groom. I never asked how much we would have paid but the website price (4.5/serving for up to 199) puts it at about 675 (I think it was supposed to serve 150) and then the grooms would have been free. I would have definitely paid that much for that amazing cake.

Amazing cakes! We gave them a not so average design of a pyramid with arabic writing and it turned out flawless! They blew us away!

Most helpful staff there. And the pricing is very good. It cost me less money for cake and grooms cake to deliver from denton to fort worth than it did most caterers that are already located in FT. Worth. And there cakes are wonderful.

They did a wonderful job on my wedding cake. They did a great job on the decorating, the cake was moist, tasty and everyone loved it. I had 2 14" cakes and 2 10" cakes.

They make beautiful cakes, and the cost is very reasonable! They made a cake for me that other places told me was impossible. The grooms cake is free with the purchase of a wedding cake... which saved us so much money. My wedding cake and grooms cake was about $4000.00 less than what another bakery quoted me. And they taste amazing!

For several years I have used Candy Haven for birthdays and other special occasions, and I had wanted to use them for my wedding as well, but I hesitated because I was trying for a lower price. I found a lower price at a different place and decided to go with them. I put a $250 down payment down on a cake only to find out five months later that the place had gone out of business and run off with my money (along with the money of quite a few other people as I have found out). I was about six weeks out from my wedding date and I called Candy Haven hoping that they would not have my date booked. They arranged for me to have a tasting that week and they were kind enough to extend a discount for my cake because of the trouble I had been through with the last vendor. They also gave me free groom's cake decorations (we got it to look like a snare drum) as part of the discount. The gesture was so kind and so appreciated and so needed since the loss of the down payment with the other vendor that I cried right then and there at the tasting. The wedding cake was gorgeous and just what I wanted. Everybody raved about it like they always do. Candy Haven has earned my business for everything I need cakes or candies for as long as I live in this area because of their kindness and professionalism. It just doesn't get any better than Candy Haven!

Candy Haven Cakes are simply wonderful. My cake was beautiful and exactly what I asked for. After our tasting, we used Candy Haven for my sisters baby shower, my bridal shower and my couple shower. I will continue to use Candy Haven for all special events.

Because our wedding was so small, we didn't need a huge wedding cake, so Candy Haven made us a 'birthday cake' that we chose to decorate like a wedding cake. It was beautiful, delicious, and didn't cost a fortune for five times as much cake as we needed!Candy Haven is the best.

Bottom line...the cake was yummy and gorgeous!! They were accomodating with the special requests made for the groom's cake. The cake decorator even let me help arrange the figurines to my liking. They even went above and beyond and added things to make it even more spectacular...The cake tasting experience was great. They were patient and helpful throughout the entire process!!!

Candy Haven was an easy decision to make! Their cakes are delicious and beautiful for a reasonable price. I had a beautiful snowflake cake and I had a special groom's cake with a mold of a wooden shoe(my husband is Dutch) that they made out of the chocolate cake! It all looked fabulous and tasted so good! There was a mix up with my chocolate covered strawberries. They delivered all doubled dipped(white and milk chocolate) when I had only ordered the plain milk chocolate. Candy Haven was so wonderful to go back and deliver a whole new batch of strawberries within a few hours! I couldn't believe it! Everyone I dealt with along the way was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone!

We booked our wedding with the Wildwood Inn and our bride and groom cakes were included as part of the ceremony / reception package we paid for. Our cakes were provided by Candy Haven, a local company in a town where I live. I have purchased cakes from this special bakery before, so I was well aware of the superb quality we would receive. They have the world's best, super moist, most incredible cakes I've ever had. My husband and I had made an appointment about 6 weeks before the wedding. We were probably easier than many couples as we knew exactly what we wanted before we met with the pastry chef. When we arrived, we saw a huge portfolio of bride and grrom cakes and there was a slide show going on the wall of more cakes. The pastry chef brought us out two large glasses of ice water and this large silver tray of 3 or 4 different chocolate cakes and probably 6 different white cakes. In the center was a selection of 6 or 7 different fillings. These were whole slices for tasting, not just enough for a bite. The chef really took her time to go over each of the cakes and pairings with filings and flavors. We hardly put a dent all the pieces and when we got ready to leave, she boxed up all the cakes for us to take with us. I was so impressed with her attention to detail and excitement for our special day. They really want to be sure your cake is perfect and everything you want it to be. On our wedding day, our cakes were delivered and looked absolutely beautiful. We got more compliments on how incredible those cakes were. Our wedding guests devoured almost all of both cakes.

Candy Haven sent our cake very quickly also they made little discount to us what made us happier as we thought cake will cost unbelievably much, also cake was so tasty you can't imagine i think i haven't taste such cake before and that was for me like a little surprise.

Candy Haven was great! We had a very detailed grooms cake (the wedding cake was pretty straightforward as we wanted it), and they did an EXCEPTIONAL job. Highly recommend.

Our cakes were GORGEOUS!!!

We had a 4-tier bride cake and a 3-tier grooms cake and there were absolutely amazing. The most moist cake I have ever tasted. To top it off a month later when we ate our top of our cake it almost tasted better than on the day of the wedding.

My wedding day went off without a hitch...until my bridesmaids brought me back a picture of the cake that was in the reception room. This is probably going to seem petty, but the cake was a 4-tier that was supposed to be square-circle-square-circle. However, it was all square with a circle on top. It looked awkward to me and it was not what I wanted or paid for. Did it affect the taste or did anyone else know? Absolutely not. On the other hand, if one spends $1000 on a cake...it should be correct. It was the one thing that upset me on my wedding day, which could have been prevented. It was a misunderstanding and no one is perfect. The cake was delicious and the icing detail was exactly what I wanted. Overall I was pleased, just a little bit disappointed that it wasn't exactly what I had ordered.

Candy Haven provided us with beautiful and delicious cakes that our impressed us and our guests. For the bridal cake, the picture of a cake I found and wanted was recreated exactly. For our grooms cake we wanted a chessboard. The chess pieces were edible and sculpted beautifully.

Everyone at Candy Haven is so friendly. They are so flexible, and are truly focused on making you happy. They have artists that can draw/form/make any kind of cake/design that you wish for. The cakes are all incredible. I would highly recommend the white chocolate flavored cake.

The best thing about Candy Haven is they threw in a free standard groomscake with the purchase of the bride's cake. Bride's cake blew the groom's cake away. Usually, the groom's cake is better. We were really disappointed with the groom's cake. Dipped strawberries were amazing though. It was difficult to schedule the tasting and get to the right place in the buillding. After tracking people down in the office, we were half an hour late and rushed through the tasting.

Candy Haven Cakes is where we got our wedding cake from. They provided us a very comprehensive wedding cake consultation that showed us some sample photo’s of previous clients they did cakes for. We ended up purchasing a 4 tier wedding cake from them that was filled with wonderful fillings and flavors. The cake was a wonderful choice and it tasted really good. Everyone enjoyed the cake and they all wanted to know where we got the wedding cake from as they liked it so much almost everyone went back for seconds. It was a good thing we got a huge cake since it was so good.

Oh my gosh! My cake was DEEELICOUS! The have so many to choose from, but they will also meet your demands if you want something wacky. I have a very different personality and I wanted my cake to reflect that and they made me a very whimsical polka dot cake with a pink ladybug cake on the side!

Candy Haven has the ABSOLULTE MOST AMAZING cakes in the world. The flavor is to die for. I'm not a huge cake eater, but I will seek out their cakes!! They have fantastic artists and will work with any designs. Our wedding had about 100 guests, and the price was well within budget. This company is a favorite of ours, and we HIGHLY recommend it to everyone! Candy Haven ROCKS!

The bride and groom cake were delicious!! They were delivered in perfect time and were exactly what we wanted!!

We really only met with them once and picked everything out, then they delivered it to the wedding that morning. Everything looked and tasted great. no complaints.

The cake we got from Candy Haven was delicious. The only problem: the wrong cakes were inside. I was pretty proud of the cake selections I'd made, especially as my family is big on sweets, so when they started sitting down the wrong cake in front of my guests I was shocked. ...and of course, I had told everyone about the cake, so they all knew it was wrong!! It was still delicious and most people had more than one slice. When I went to Candy Haven after the wedding to return the cake stand, I spoke with them about the problem. The person who made my cake came out and offered to make us a new anniversary tier. Instead, I asked to have the cake stand for free (it's a $100 deposit and a $45 fee). She quickly agreed, took care of it, and offered to have an anniversary tier delivered to us on our 1st anniversary. I don't think the flub is a normal thing there, and they did their best to make things better for me.

Candy Haven was great! My cake looked and tasted amazing. They did everything on time and just right so I didn't have to worry about a thing!

I would like to take a moment and thank candy haven for a beautiful cake, the only problem the price was highly overated for the cake I got. The cake was tiny for the 750.00 price tag I paid for it, the cake was beautiful though and I recieved many compliments on it. I then called when several weeks later I did not get my return for the cake stands of 50.00, they had lost my paper work and never returned my money. I had to call and go through atleast two different people to get this resolved and get them to credit my card back. If your ready to spend a pretty penny, candy haven is the place to go.For the price it was nice but not exceptional, they are a little over priced. Spend more time and look around, that is something I didnt do and should have. They were however on time and arrived and had my cake set up two hours before my wedding as requested. They also charge a milege fee and sunday charge.

My wedding cakes were beautiful. The designers at Candy Haven are so talented. I phoned them a month before the wedding to talk about a surprise design for my groom's cake and it turned out just as I had described to them. The cake was delicious. I can't wait to have them make the cake again for my 1st year anniversary.

I ordered the cake from Candy Haven in Denton and they were great! The cake got rave reviews from my guest! The cakes looked great! The grooms cage was awesome looking! I would recomend them to everyone I know for any of their cakes! I was married on April 12th in Fort Worth at the Cowboy Hall of Fame. They set the cakes up with no problem and got there without having to call me about the set which was nice. I didn't have to worry about my cake.Kari McGugin

For the bridal cake, the picture of a cake I found and wanted was recreated exactly. For our grooms cake we wanted a chessboard. The chess pieces were edible and sculpted beautifully.

Yummy cake! I had a friend that works there, so it was an obvious pick for me. But even if I hadn't known someone there, I would have chose them. Some of the cake places out there have dry cake and don't include incentives such as a free grooms cake. Truely a good choice. I gave them a picture and they recreated it perfectly!

Everything was EXACTLY the way I wanted it! They were helpful in suggesting ideas as well. They had a sampling appointment where I could taste all kinds of different cakes to see what I wanted. The cakes were absolutely perfect. Couldn't have been better!

Candy Haven had a contract with my reception location so I did not have a choice, but I was very pleased with the quality of the cake and their creativity. We set up a consultation with the wedding cake designer and she helped us design our cakes very nicely. I was a little picky with what design I wanted on my bridal cake. I wanted a lace design, but did not like any of the lace designs they had displayed in their showroom (yes, they have an entire showroom just to help you design your cake). So I pulled out a picture of my dress, because it has lace on it, and I told her that I wanted lace like my dress. She told me that they could do it just like my dress! It wasn't exact, but it looked great! I was sooooo happy with how it turned out! Then for the grooms cake, we wanted a themed cake and had already purchased a special topper for it and everything. When we told the cake designer kind of what we were wanting she got very excited and ran with the idea. It turned out pretty well. I will say that I looked into them just as an independent vendor before I settled on my reception location and they were quite pricey! Yeah you get the grooms cake for "free" but I think you are really paying for it. They are great cakes and we got good service, but you better have room in your budget!

All we did was supply a photo and a description of what we thought we wanted - they took care of the rest. And what a great job they did. Not only was the design and look exactly what my wife wanted, but it tasted great too. You can't go wrong here.

Candy Haven provided my Bride's and Groom's cakes. They were easy to work with from start to finish. The cakes showed up on time and meet our expectations. The staff brought in the cakes, set them up quickly and went on their way. It was a very smooth process. The cakes were great and every piece of the groom's cake was eaten. I was especially happy with the way the Bride's cake turned out. The candy haven staff really listened to me during the planning process, so the cake was just the way I wanted it.

I have always known that I would get my wedding cakes from Candy Haven, having grown up in the town where they are located. That being said, our cakes (bride and groom) were both fabulous! I chose an unusual color for my cake (Tiffany blue) and they were able to get it just right. All of their flavors are delicious. I recommend the almond flavored cake. They do a very thorough tasting and are friendly to work with. It should be noted that they will not set up a cake outdoors. The only reason I gave them 4 1/2 stars for value is because their cakes cost more than most competitors, but it is worth the extra money. My first anniversary is coming up in less than 2 weeks and I can't wait to eat our frozen cake top.

Truely amazing wedding and groom's cakes!!!

The cake was soooooo good. Plus we got the grooms cake free the the purchase of the wedding cake. We heard compliments all night.

I brought in several pictures of cakes I had seen in wedding magazines to our appointment at candy haven. I appreciated that the chef was very honest about what she could and could not do and left feeling very happy with our decision. Their cake has amazing flavor (as most residents of the denton area are already aware) and they have a very wide variety of fillings, they were also willing to do different fillings on different tiers since my husband and I could not chose between two. We received many comments on how good the cake was (white chocolate with bavarian cream/ raspberry filling). We liked it so much that we ordered a smaller version for my husbands birthday! It was a little expensive but all in all worth it. Also they were very familiar with my venue so getting the cake to the reception was absolutely worry free.

delicious cakes, great service and very easy to work with. A few weeks before the wedding I went in and added a filling to half of the layers as well as double dipped strawberries to the groom's cake. It was not a problem and everything showed up perfect on the day of our wedding!

We still have people raving about our cakes 6 years later. I order a cake every year on our anniversary and I have also ordered my son's 1st birthday cake from them and plan on it again for my other sons first birthday this year. Best bakery in the area!

I have used Candy Haven several times & ever since, I have told so many people about them! We chose their Italian cream cake & double chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries. Candy Haven cakes are to die for! The owner of One Event Design, Stephanie Kuykendall, ordered her wedding cake from them back in 1996 and purchases her birthday cake there every year!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Candy Haven and they were wonderful. So willing to work with the brides expectations and came through with fantastic cakes. They also provide wonderful desserts for showers and parties. :) Very professional.

Their cakes are the best! They can take a simple idea like Snowflakes and make into a beautiful classy piece of art! They are the best tasting cakes I have ever had at any wedding! They were also able to incorporate a Dutch theme into the grooms cake with out taking away from the brides cake. Great job!

Their name says it all. Jane and the entire group at Candy Haven is wonderful. They take care of the cakes for approximately 50 receptions a year for our facility. That means they meet with 50 of our couples, prepare 50 Brides Cakes & 50 Groom's Cakes, and make 50 deliveries to our facility. All so effortlessly. We never worry about the level of service the couple will receive, the cakes are always beautiful and delicious, and always delivered and setup at the appropriate time.
