We could not be more happy with the way that our wedding turned out here! Yes, it is pricey, but the view and the venue is AMAZING. The service staff is seamless, the view amazing, Suzy the coordinator is amazing and the food is out of this world!!! I have spoken with everyone from my wedding and they all are amazed with everything! We are so happy and thanks again to Suzy and her staff!!!

Beautiful view of Dana Point Harbor. Service was excellent! The day went so smoothly and our guests still comment on it being the best time they've had at a wedding! Suzi the event coordinator was great to work with. Best venue in our eyes!

My husband and I are so incredibly happy that we chose to get married and have our reception at Cannon's. Like everyone else says, the view is amazing and the food is wonderful. The staff is so attentive and Suzy definitely knows her stuff. We were so well taken care of from the contract signing onward all the way until the end. Every single guest that we heard of had a fabulous time, loved the venue and the food- which was buffet style with plenty for everyone. We especially love that we can now go back to Cannon's every year for our anniversary, which Suzy urged us to do as well so she could see us as we progressed in our marriage (ahem by having kids)!

p.s. If you sign the contract to have Cannon's be your wedding venue, go hungry to the food tasting! We got huge portions to taste our four different salads and entrees, complete with drinks from the bar- amazing service I tell you...

A great place with a fantastic view. We had the upper private room and it was great for my entire family for our rehearsal dinner!! The food was excellent and it was a lot of food for your buck! Great service, friendly staff, great location. The whole place was packed with another wedding reception happening downstairs/outside but you would never know that because they provide enough staff and you could not hear the noise!

Suzy and her team were great! The food was remarkable and the view is AMAZING! Friends and family are still telling me how wonderful the food and view were. Thank you so much for making our day beautiful!

My husband and I can not say enough great things about Cannons Restaurant! We had the most amazing time for our wedding which took place on June 12, 2010. The staff was incredible and very attentive - our glasses were never empty - the coordinator (Suzy Fairchild) was very attentive and on top of things during the whole wedding planning process as well. The food was AMAZING! We did buffet style and no one went hungry! All our guests are still raving about the food and of course the view! Cannons was the first place we looked at and the only place we looked at! The ceremony and reception ran very smoothly and we would not change one thing about the entire event - except maybe having added a few extra hours! ;-) The whole experience was memorable. From the view, to the staff, to delicious food - the venue was the perfect choice for us! We highly recommend Cannons to anyone! You will not be sorry if you choose this place for a wedding ... or even just a dinner date! ;-) Thank you Cannons!!

We are getting married at Cannon's on 7/31 and are so excited. Suzy totally knows what she is doing at makes you feel completely at ease. The only reason I give 4 stars is because this is before the fact. After the wedding I trust I will up it to 5 stars!!!

Update: Our reception was AMAZING! Cannons was beautiful, perfect, seamless, priceless, etc., etc. The food (I was told) was excellent. We did heavy hors devours all night and had an open bar. The servers new many of our guests by name and their drink of choice by the end of the night. Nobody went home hungry as the appetizers were served ongoing throughout the night instead of all at once. Suzy set up everything to perfection and made the process sooo simple. She is extremely professional and managed the day as if it was her own. Our day was complete because Cannons was perfect!

This may be hasty, since I am 2.5 months out until my ceremony and reception at Cannons, but I still wanted to rave! Suzy their event coordinator is wonderful. She is laid back and confident. Very helpful, and calming during a time that can be highly stressful. Gorgeous view and layout! The food is great! I've personally had better, but you know what, for a wedding this will knock the socks of your guests! The money symbols though are off. This is definitely in the $$$$ category. I don't even think the lowest package is in the $$$ range. Hope you find this helpful!

I would highly reccomend Cannon's to other people searching for a spot to get married. The view, atmosphere, and the food were exelent. Suzy Fairchild, who is the wedding coordinater was exceptional. She was very responsive and even went out of her way to help with the ceremony rehearsal. She was wonderful. My husband and I couldn't have picked a more perfect spot that Cannon's.

Cannons has an amazing view and setting. It is a great experience and place for the price. I was impressed with how much we got for our money. The food is fantastic and the service is great and accomodating. The coordinator, Susie, is very supportive and friendly. I would recommend to this venue for any bride. I wish that I could do it all over again at this place.

This place has great food and a great view of Dana Harbor. I didn't have to worry about an arch, or linens and chairs. It was all there. I had a day wedding and a small number of guests so the top room was cost effective and the view was fantastic. Right next door is the Blue Lantern Inn which we stayed at which meant transportation was not an issue. Fantastic! If we renew our vows here it will be there once again.

It was an exceptionally beautiful location for a wedding reception. The views from the restaurant were simply gorgeous. It rained in the morning so by the time we had our reception it was just miles and miles of clear blue sky and beautiful water. Just like a postcard!

The staff waitering our reception was highly professional and courteous. They helped us decorate the rooms by placing centerpieces on the tables and setting up the room to our specifications. The coordinater, Suzy, was very accomodating.I did not have to worry about anything! They made our day that much more special.

Food was excellent! The price for a meal for children is a little steep because you pay half the price of an adult but they get only chicken fingers and fries, but in the end you get so much more in value.

I would love to return there every year for our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, we moved to Illinois. But our photos and video will always be there for us!

I am so happy that I chose Cannons for our reception venue. All of my guests commented on the great food and the amazing view. The onsite wedding coordinator, Suzy, helped to make everything run perfectly. I felt like I really got to truly enjoy myself at my wedding because Cannons did such a great job. Also, Cannons does not have any hidden costs that many other venues have (ie parking, cake cutting fee, etc).

Great view, great service, down to earth fun place, great food. Perfect place to get married if you are looking for an amazing alternative to a cookie cutter hotel wedding in Orange County. Suzy (restaurant coordinator) and owners are friendly and extremely helpful. They really helped make our wedding warm, friendly, and very personalized.
