Canoe Club Ballroom

Stacy & Jill along with the rest of the Canoe Club staff were amazing. They made sure everything was perfect. My now husband and I didn't have to worry about anything during the whole process (before and during). The Ballroom is gorgeous and the food was great. Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!

I very recently got married here and i must say choosing to have my reception here was the best thing! Their staff is amazing...very down to earth and accommodating. The food was great, and the ballroom itself is the perfect size for any wedding! If you are looking to do a wedding on the south shore you must take a look at this place, i promise you won't regret it! Being a bride is a very stressful thing at times and they made my life as a bride so easy!

Stacy and Jill are amazing if you are looking for a venue that will make you feel like the most important wedding they do, this is the place. Professional and personal from day one planing to day of. No need for a wedding planer when you use the canoe club because it's included. Every thing we wanted all in a gorges river side setting!

I got married at the Canoe Club a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic! The room itself is gorgeous, huge dance floor, big bar and beautiful grounds for pictures. It's elegant without being stuffy and the staff, from the owners to the waitstaff are amazing! (I actually had guests telling me how friendly and attentive their waitstaff and bartenders were) Most importantly, Stacey and Jill were wonderful to work with. They were patient, genuinely friendly, organized and SUPER detail oriented. I really felt like they wanted to make my wedding as perfect as I did. They offer packages with recommended vendors which we took advantage of (we used their recommendations for DJ, florist, cake but they also offer photo, video, and limo options) and we were very pleased with all of them. You can tell they have great relationships with all of their vendors. They have open houses so you can see what the ballroom looks like decorated for an actual wedding which is really helpful when you're trying to visualize things for your own big day. Beautiful venue, great service, wonderful experience!

The Canoe Club, especially Stacey and Jillian, truly made our wedding a pleasurable and wonderful experience. The team at the Canoe Club was responsive, accommodating, organized and professional. There was never any negative surprises during our planning experience (regarding costs, menu, vendors, etc)- everything was as promised! The venue was gorgeous, the recommended vendors were wonderful and the food was great! The whole day was perfect and I would recommend The Canoe Club to any couple that is looking to have a stress-free, flawless wedding experience!

Stacey the owner was amazing!! i would highly recomend the Canoe Club Ballroom. It's beautiful inside, hardwood floors throughout so plenty on room for a large dance floor. They set the tables so all of your guests can see you and the dance floor. The Canoe club is very flexible no matter what your budget is or your expectations are. The cost is unbeatable you get alot for your money through the Canoe Club. My husband and I came all the way from RI we knew we made the best decision going with the Canoe Club. I was so pleased with the staff, the food, the setting, and the vendors that I chose through the Packages offered at the Canoe Club.

The Canoe Club was an excellent venue, the staff and vendors associated with the club went above and beyond. My husband is in the military and we had to change the date several times. We were able to plan a beautiful wedding in only two months because of there help.They all were very understanding and accomodating. Over all We both couldn't have been happier.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Canoe Club Ballroom. My day was amazing. Stacy and staff were wonderful. She anwsered all my crazy questions and truly created the day of my dreams. I felt that my wedding day was all about me and my husband (the way it should be),but when researching many other places I felt they would not be able to cater to me and only me. The canoe Club has only one event at a time and were able to focus on my day. The vendors worked well together as a team and caught every moment and important detail that I wanted. I would highly recommend the Canoe Club Ballroom to anyone who asks!

We could not have chosen a better venue. Stacy, the owner and manager was fantastic. I was constantly asking questions, stopping by to match things and she was great.

The room looked amazing. She and her staff did a fantastic job with setting up the table arrangements that I had and lighting 100 candles.

The reception was unlike anything I have seen at other wedddings. Everything was great. we had no problems with the Canoe Club Ballroom that I know of. The did say that if there was a problem, no one would even notice. I thought that to be very respectful. They couldn't have done better. I still have people talking about my wedding which was in October and it is now February. Totally recommended in my book!!

I absolutly loved the Canoe Club. It's a beautiful venue, service was great, food was delicous. I would defiantly recomend them to every bride i know that is getting married.

The entire staff at the Canoe Club was amazing!! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything went off without a hitch. The room was decorated exactly like I pictured it and it was an amazing party. I would recommend the Canoe Club to anyone looking for that family feel to their wedding and anyone who wants a huge dance floor.

They did a great job! It was so nice to have a package plan of vendors that were included in that. I think it would have been so much harder to pick the vendors otherwise. The day of the wedding they did a great job with the setup and it looked great! They were awesome!!!

The Canoe Club was extremely helpful during the entire process. Stacy made it very easy with the organization of the wedding planning everything was perfect. It was a perfect day and all of our guests had a blast!!

I absolutely loved the Canoe Club. Stacey and Jill were so very helpful and always answered my thousands of emails right away. I was very disappointed that Jill was not available to assist on the day of my wedding, but everything came out lovely. The food was great and they had done all my decor exactly the way i wanted it. Everything was wonderful. Only a couple little flaws. My cousin's vegetarian meal never came out. and nobody could see the cake table, much of it got wasted. But all and all they were wonderful and the place is beautiful!

We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at the Canoe Club Ballroom in West Bridgewater, MA. Stacy and her team were excellent and worked hard to ensure that my wedding was perfect! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone!

The Canoe Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Stacy, Jillian and the staff were outstanding in making sure everything was perfect...and it was. The place looked amazing! The staff got back to us instantly with any questions we may had and was more than accommodating with our wants. The place fit our guests (250) comfortably with plenty of room to dance! The food was delicious as well. Everything was outstanding and I would recommend the Canoe Club to anyone!

Had our ceremony at the gazebo on the grounds, then moved inside for the reception. Everything was beautiful from start to finish! We looked at a few other facilities before booking this one and this place was by FAR the best value for our dollar. We paid a lot less than we would at other locations, and had a beautiful wedding with great food from start to finish. Stacy was wonderful to work with and very helpful with the planning. Would highly recommend!

Great place to have a wedding, very helpful staff who knew what they were doing and was able to do most of the leg work which as helpful. I got an extremely great deal doing the Friday/Sunday/off-season special (which includes may vendors for one flat fee). They made my life a lot easier during the planning process and I didn't once feel stressed. The day went by so smoothly too! I would reccommend this to many other brides who want a beauitful wedding with out having to worry too much about how much they can cost!

They were wonderful. Whatever you need they helped with. I highly recommend them!

Stacey and Jill at the Canoe Club were amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process, all the way until we left after the reception, and beyond. (My groom forgot his cufflinks and my father forgot his wallet so they had to return later that night!) Even before I booked my wedding with the Canoe Club, I felt like they really cared about me. They kept my name penciled in on my date without any deposit while we made the final decision to choose them. And once we booked the wedding officially, they made everything so easy and fun! I called the Canoe Club a bunch of times over the past year, worried about different details or questions. Every time I got off the phone with Stacey or Jill, I felt reassured and relaxed.

And the wedding itself! It was so perfect. They made sure everything was smooth, fun, and happy. All the linens looked perfect. And we had brought them a bunch of pieces of centerpieces and photo cards and favors and they put them ALL together perfectly and laid them all out. It saved us a ton of work!

Every time I told a vendor I was getting married at the Canoe Club, they grinned and said "Oh, Stacey! I know her! Wonderful!" I knew it was going to be a great wedding from that alone. And all those vendors were right.

There are only a few complaints I had about the Canoe Club. They are not completely clear on plated meals versus family style versus a split entree meant. We were told at first that we could do split entrees without any extra charge and the entrees would be plated but everything else would be family style. Then when it got much closer to the wedding (and invitations had already gone out offering a choice of two entrees) we were told we needed to pay $3 per person for plated meals if we wanted to do the split entree. So we paid that, which was frustrating, but we figured we had no choice. I wouldn't even mention it, except that on our wedding day, they didn't even plate anything except the entrees! Everything else was still family style.

The Canoe Club is one of the most beautiful places that I have had the pleasure to visit on many occasions. They do an amazing job making sure that everything is done to perfection on your wedding day! Not only is it a very special place to have a wedding … but it is very special to me. I was married at the Canoe Club 15 years ago! I love it there! It is a very magical place! It was so exciting to be the one to perform a ceremony as a JP at the very place where I said “I do”

We played a wedding @ Canoe Club in May of 2010 and it was a fantastic experience. It's not often these days that a band has a stage to perform on... and the venue staff was an absolute dream to work with. They truly care for their clients & hired-in vendors and host a fantastic evening for everyone involved... We are looking forward to getting back very soon!

I've been a photographer at the Canoe Club for many years. It is without a doubt a great choice for any bride & groom's special day. Stacy and her staff are the ultimate professionals, and will do anything to help you. The grounds have a wonderful location for and outside ceremony and photos, and the huge dance floor makes it a fun for your guest to dance up a storm. I've shot at many venues, but the Canoe Club is my favorite by far!
