My name is John Danis. My wife lost her engagement ring/wedding ring. We have been married for 19 years. I purchased the original ring 20 years ago from a vendor at the LA Diamond District also. But that vendor is no longer in business. I visited Capri Jewelry based on an internet recommendation and I am extremely pleased that I followed the lead. Claude helped us. Not only was Claude extremely knowledgable, he had many emerald cut diamonds readily available for us to choose from. I called several other vendors, and none of them had any inventory for me to see and stated that I would have to set up appointments for several days in advance in order for them to get some inventory. Claude helped us select the perfect diamond - coached us on the color, clarity, and weight ratings - to help us feel confident in the final decision. I checked with several other vendors and Claude/Capri was extremely competitive - but most important, he is integrous. I will trust Claude for a lifetime now and I am sure others can too.

We were referred to Chris at Capri from My husband's friend. This day and age it is hard to find trustworthy and honest people, let alone people who trully listen to what you want. We bought my husbands wedding band and my wedding rings here, and not a day goes by that we don't get compliments on our rings. They design there own jewelry and import their diamonds, so you know you are getting the best quality and prices, since they don't have to mark up their prices because they bought from a dealer or sales rep. Anyhow, the hardest thing to find is an honest Jeweler, and since this is a family owned company, they pride themselves on making their customers happy. Chris at Capri Jewelry was so wonderful. We felt confident making such a huge investment with him because unlike other jewelers, he had reasonable prices and was very honest about the cut, clarity, color and carat of his diamonds. This place is great!! When my fiance proposed he purchased a solitaire so we could pick out the setting together. I searched all over the Jewelry District and online and couldn't find that "perfect" setting. I asked around work and three of the nurses I worked with bought their ring at Capri. I described to Claude what I was wanting and he had exactly what I wanted. He actually had three different ones that I loved. He helped me pick the one that would work best with the center stone I already had. No pressure and reasonable prices, worth the drive if you aren't in the LA area.

Gary at Capri Jewelry in Los Angeles diamond district is amazing. He works with his two nephews who are reasonably cool. But wait for Gary to help you. He is amazing. He taught me so much and made me feel so confident about my purchase. Buying a ring that you will wear FOREVER is a lot to contemplate. I explained what I wanted and told him to make it happen. I have the most amazing ring at a quarter of the cost elsewhere. I have a platinum full eternity band. My total carat weight in my wedding band and engangement band is 2.8 carats not inlcuding the center stone, The cost of my setting was $24000 my side stones are VSI G- H color. It was a steal. I already owned my center stone and I trusted Gary completely to reset the stone and make my dream ring. My husband is so proud. Gary also made my husband's platinum wedding band. My husband has a 15 g platinum band. My cost for my husband's ring with Gary was around $1000. After going to Gary, I know I will never be in search of another ring. With the money we could afford to spend, we were able to purchase rings that will last a lifetime. We have no need or desire to upgrade - ever. But we have gone back for diamond earrings, signet rings, cuff links etc. since our original purchase. Gary will be our family jeweler forever.
