My husband and I chose Stephanie to photograph our wedding because her style seemed to fit us well. She took our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos, all of which were absolutely perfect! She was very professional, flexible, and was willing to do anything she could to make our event special. Everyone loves our wedding pictures and we have 1000s to choose from between all of our events! We would certainly recommend her to anyone needing a photographer!

I would say the best part of using Stephanie's services is the amount of photos you receive at the end...photos are a huge part to a bride and literally having 1000's to chose from makes you feel like every moment was captured in a photo.

My husband and I have used Captured By Stephanie for our engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn, three and six month infant photographs. Stephanie is extremely professional and not to mention flexible. Her work is absolutely amazing and she truly captures every special moment. We would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a passionate and dedicated photographer.

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

Yes, I offer various options. Please let me know what your preference is, or I will provide you with samples so you can see what you like best.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes. I have had lots of experience with various lighting and can adapt easily. I also have a studio lighting set up that can be brought to a location.

Is your media preference film or digital?

I shoot in all digital.

How many photographers do you work with?

I mainly work alone, but do have an assistant when needed.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes, and if there is a situation I guarantee a substitute that is equal or better to my skill set.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I only book myself for one event in a day, but I may book myself for more events in a weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

I shoot with a Nikon D-300 and a Nikon D-200. I also bring a back up camera, along with 5 different lenses.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes, I bring a back up camera and lenses.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

I do both depending on if you buy a package or a la carte.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes, it depends on how many extra hours. One hour is $150, but more than an hour, I can offer you a reduced rate.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

Depending on how long the wedding is, most of the time I do require a short break at a non eventful period during the reception. Some type of food and drink is required.

Do you charge for travel?

For traveling more than 30 mins. away from my location I do require a traveling fee. This will be discussed at the consultation (depending on the cost of gas at that time).

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

Depending on the event. For a regular shoot, two weeks afterwards. For a wedding, one month or less afterwards.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

They are digital and will be sent to you on a CD.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

With all shoots, weddings, etc. a CD comes with it and the clients keep it. You are allowed to print them off as you wish, and it comes with a print release.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, so that I have the rights to use the photos for promotional use, etc. This is included in all contracts.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes, unless you state otherwise.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes, as stated above.

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes, the images that you pick will be added to my website for 90 days for viewing and ordering. You will be provided with a password for you to give out to those that you want to have access to view.

What kind of albums do you offer?

I offer 10x10, 8x8, and 5x5 flush mount leather albums with or without picture windows on the front. Details of these can be found on my website. If you are needing something else, please inquire about it.

When will the client get the final album?

Once it's designed, the client will get the chance to edit it twice before it is printed. Please allow 2 weeks for printing.
