Where to begin? Carasco photography is high-end yet, accessible and unpretentious. Even before I met with this husband and wife team, I was already sold on the amazing art they are creating (surf their amazing website/blog). When I met with them, both Scott and Cara made me feel confident that they were the best and only choice to go with. Please do your research and you will see that Carasco is among the best and most amazing value in the city.When my sister got married, she went with the mainstream large "Ed. F." photograpy studio. My husband and I perused her pictures and were shocked at what we found (very mainstream, all posed, and predictable). We definetly did not want that and that is why we were willing to invest more. I cannot stress enough how important the photography decision is. We had our engangement session with Carasco and they had researched everything ahead of time and had tons of creative ideas. EVERYONE who has seen my engagement pictures has remarked that they are so chic and creative yet beautiful. Even my dad recently told me that Carasco was awesome! On our wedding day, as expected, Carasco was phenomenal and flexible. They even stayed extra time beyond what we contracted them for at the reception. I have absoultely no doubt that the wedding day photographs will be amazing. All in all, you will not be dissapointed with their customer service or with the quality of their work. They are worth every penny and thensome.

We are so, so happy with Carasco Photography. ENTHUSIASM is the name of Scott and Cara's game - I like to tell how Scott literally laid down in the middle of a street, cars whizzing by, to get a shot he wanted. He saw details of my day that I didn't see - the portraits of my grandparents in my house, the family dog peeking from behind a bridesmaid's skirt, the money on the dance floor. We had a Greek wedding and Scott and Cara took every unusual detail in stride. They did their research, came prepared, and went the extra mile at every opportunity. OK, so my wedding was nearly a year ago and my review for Carasco Photo is long overdue. But to put it simply: I LOVE SCOTT AND CARA!

They were so easy to work with, very clear and upfront about their services and not to mention, a great eye for those perfect moments they captured so beautifully. I am not a fan of posed wedding shots and although we did have a few family group photos, I pretty much allowed them to document the wedding day as it happened rather than spending too much time arranging shots. My husband, I believe, said to them, “I don’t even want to know that you are taking pictures.” I also preferred digital photos and really like the fact that the wedding book would be in the style of a coffee table book.

I scheduled a meeting with them at a coffee shop where they brought samples of their wedding books and also brought a laptop to show us the online albums. We found Scott and Cara so down-to-earth and felt that their style and demeanor in addition to their amazing talents to be exactly what we were looking for.

Months prior to the wedding day, Cara helped plan out the day by sending me a questionnaire to get a sense of how the wedding day is going to go, the look we want to achieve, and any folks and items we must have a picture of (i.e. my grandmother, the lace top she made for me, etc.). On the day of the wedding, they arrived on time and ready to go. Scott scoped out the venues and areas we had suggested we would like to get some shots of way ahead of time. Scott and Cara were both taking pictures which was a bonus since most photographers I found charged a crazy amount for a second shooter. I was worried about the lighting situation in the warehouse we rented but Scott and Cara came well-prepared at the reception with their equipment and I was extremely happy with the results.

The best part about working with Scott and Cara was that my pictures were ready in their online album to share with friends and family by the end of December. (My wedding was in October.) Each one of the one thousand photos had undergone some post-production work by Scott and it was ready within three months—Amazing! We got our wedding book shipped via FedEx in February.

My husband and I were impressed by their talent and professionalism. We also heard great compliments from our guests on the pictures. They really captured the range of emotions that day. I have some of my photos in my Facebook and every once in a while I go through them again and I smile and sometimes tear up. I recommend Carasco Photo wholeheartedly. Scott and Cara rock!

Words alone cannot express the extent of how strongly I�d recommend Carasco photography. Cara and Scott are AMAZING. They scouted out picture locations in advance, took all of my must-take pictures, and managed some sticky family situations with incredible grace. They brought an assistant the day of the wedding, and he was great, too. They are VERY well-priced, and we get all of the digital proofs. I LOVED working with this vendor.

Carasco Photography was absolutely phenomenal to work with! I was super unhappy with the wedding photographer I originally chose and Carasco came in and fixed everything! Plus they were SUPER nice to work with and very, very accomodating!

I can't give enough stars to Carasco Photography. We weren't looking for a huge package, and they offered us a package with the digital images on disc, which is exactly what we wanted. Scott and Cara met us when we visited Chicago, and they seemed friendly, professional and really seemed to 'get' what we were looking for.They did research before the day in order to scout out locations, and it really paid off. On the day we did our photos first and there were some amazing and crazy locations (on the fire escape, with the ice cream truck). Ceremony photos were great and really told the story, and the shots of the party were great. We only did a few posed shots of families, and the rest was candid and I'm really glad.

We knew we wanted to work with Scott and Cara from the moment we saw their portfolio. Scott is a skilled, professional, and very talented photographer that offers the highest quality of service and product from beginning to end. From that first meeting on, they were a pleasure to work with. They were always available to talk with us about our wedding and our plans. On the day of our wedding, Scott and Cara were everything we hoped for- prompt, thoughtful, professional, and creative.

They were also really fun to work with and we were so amazed by their attention to detail and ability to capture the beauty and emotions of our day. The pictures were simply amazing!! Our wedding package also included a very unique and stunning coffee table book and a parent album- which Scott designed himself. The pictures in the book were the best representation of Jeff and me, our family and friends, and our wedding! Our family was over the moon with the book and we actually had to order several more copies so that the grandparents could have their own--they absolutely love them! We can’t thank them enough and highly recommend their services, talent, and gift.

I want to let you guys know how much we appreciate your work! I rave and rave to everyone I know and whatever skepticism people have definitely ceases to exist after they see our online proofs and now even they can't stop talking about our album.
