Cara Sue did an outstanding job. Its funny, because I had somewhat of a large wedding party needing hair done: Myself, 6 Bridesmaids, 2 Flowergirls, and 2 mothers. And I even had fake eyelashes put on and makeup done. And we all needed to be ready by 1:30 for when the photographer was going to show up. And she informed me that she would be bringing others to help, and that they would be getting in around 11:00 to 11:30. And I told her I was nervous about only having 2 hours to have everyone done, because I have been in or part of so many wedding where everyone is waiting on the hairstylist to be done and they seem to always be the ones that end up breaking the timeline. But Cara Sue assured me she would have no problems getting everyone done by than, and if anything the mothers could get done after the wedding party left.

The day of: Cara Sue and her help showed up 10:45am earlier than she told me, and she got everyones, I mean mothers and flowergirls, etc done by 1:00pm. It was truely amazing the quality of work they did in such a short amount of time! We were actually waiting on the Photographer to show up so he could get shots of me getting my hairdone. That wasn't on the photographer becuase he wasn't suppose to show up til 1:30. It was just that Cara Sue was just that fast! And my Makeup and fake eye lashes were out of this world!!!! It really still looked like me, but just a better version :) and for my hair I gave her somewhat of a direction on what I wanted, and she took it and made a masterpiece out of it. Went way beyond what I thought I wanted, and gave me the perfect hair for the perfect day! It seriously made the rest of my day so wonderful, when something at the start of the day goes so smoothly and I know if was all becuase of Cara Sue and her staff. I would reccomend her to everyone I could!!!! You will not go wrong booking her! Thanks again!

I think the reason I looked so beautiful on my wedding was all because of CaraSue!!
My hair was perfect and my makeup was perfect...all night!!

CaraSue and her assistant Tiffany were the best on my wedding day! They did my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my flower girl's hair and make-up (flower girl just had her hair done)....AND my hair and make-up in 4 hours! Everyone was pleased with both their hair and make-up AND we got TONS of compliments! Plus, it stayed PERFECT throughout the entire day and evening (even though it was 25 miles per hour winds)! Many of us got the fake eyelashes too and it just made us all pop!
CaraSue and Tiffany were on time (both arriving and when we needed to be done), they were easy to talk to and listened to what my girls requested, great with all different ages (from my mom to my 4 year old niece), and very laid back! I needed that, so I wasn't stressed out! Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND CaraSue and her assistants on your wedding or special event! She made my day that much more special and made me feel so gorgegous!

CaraSue did my wedding hair and makeup and she and her assistant Brittany did hair for 4 bridesmaids and 2 flowergirls. Everyone looked fantastic! Everyone got compliments on their hair, and i think the best part about it was everyone still looked like themselves, natural and beautiful. CaraSue was fantastic to work with,especially since I had a very short time between engagement and wedding (5 months). She always replied to my emails and that made for a very stress free experience for me as a harried bride! CaraSue is amazing! I loved working with her and I adored the results she delivered. She was very collaborative with me and instructive on how to help our looks maintain all day. And they definitely lasted all day. The wind actually ripped my veil out of my hair during the photography and my hair still looked gorgeous even after that and all the wind. CaraSue did the hair for me, two mothers, an attendant and flower girl. She met us at our hotel room, allowing us time to get ready together, and was amazing. CaraSue was very professional from the very beginning. I contacted her a year before my wedding and she would always email me back immediately with any questions or changes I had. The day of the wedding she was amazing. She let me look at her "work" as she was doing it and make any changes if I wanted ( I did not need to though- because she is amazing). I have never loved my makeup and hair as much as I did on my wedding day. I got SO many compliments. I would recommend CaraSue to anyone!

CaraSue was a gem to work with! I did my trial with her about 10 months before the wedding, which was wonderful, but about a week prior to the wedding, I knew I wanted a style change. She really listened to what I wanted, scheduled another trial, and gave me the perfect style for my wedding, despite the short notice! My makeup was fantastic and lasted all day! She came to me and stuck to the time we originally set - it all went off without a hitch. It also didn't hurt that she is such a nice person to be around. She did my hair and makeup for a boudoir session as well. Let's just say I can't wait to give my new husband that album for v-day!

I would highly recommend CaraSue! She did both the hair and make-up for my wedding and she did a fabulous job! My wedding day was over 100 degrees and my make-up lasted all day and night- even with several hours of outdoor pictures. While getting my hair done, I had a mini bridal-meltdown and CaraSue could not have been more flexible or accommodating. She was completly patient with me and did everything I asked to make sure I absolutely loved my hair. And I did! I got compliments all night long on my hair and make-up, all due to CaraSue's expertise!

I used CaraSue just for hair for my wedding. She was able to get 2 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me (the bride) done in about 2.5 hours and we all looked great. She was more than willing to make a few adjustments to the hairdos to make them just what the girls wanted.

CaraSue was amazing to work with for my hair and makeup. I felt positively beautiful on the day of my wedding, just an enhanced version of ME. And my makeup stayed fresh-looking all day! We had done a hair and makeup trial and when CaraSue began my hairstyle the morning of the wedding, we were out to reproduce that. However, she got to a point in pinning and just suggested I take a look in the mirror...that she was hesitant to pin beyond that because it looked perfect as it was. And she was right! Instead of a full updo, I ended up with like a 2/3 up, 1/3 down 'do and it was just right for my dress, the weather, and my wedding day! Her prices were exactly what I had budgeted for, my bridesmaids and mother loved their hair and makeup, and she's just delightful in general. What can I say except that CaraSue is incredible! I am an extremely picky person when it comes to the way my hair is done, and tying to select someone to do my hair and make-up on my wedding day was quite nerve wracking. Having CaraSue do the hair and make-up for me and my entire wedding party was probably one of the best decisions that I made for my wedding! It was nice to have a trial day, which I highly recommend; it gave us a plan and made the wedding day much less stressful. She made the wedding day preparation so much fun, smiling and talking with the group while doing an amazing job on everyone’s hair and make-up! CaraSue did an awesome job on making me, my mother and my two bridesmaids look beautiful the day of our wedding. She did all of our makeup. She showed up at exactly the time she said she would, and was so polite and supportive during the time she was there with us.

During preparing for my big day she would quickly respond to emails that contained even the smallest questions. I did a trial with her and it was great. I left the makeup on the rest of the day so that I could think about how I looked and what could be "tweeked". CaraSue did an excellent job on my hair and makeup -- I LOVED it! I was a little worried after the hair/makeup trial, because she did everything the way I thought I wanted it, but I didn't love it and wasn't sure how to fix it. In subsequent emails, she helped me figure out little tweaks for both the hair and makeup, and in the end, it was all perfect. Even the groom liked my hair, and he had initially objected when I told him the way I wanted it styled. I would also note that CaraSue is very good about subtly letting you know what she thinks you should do, without being pushy or heavy-handed about it. This is a real talent, and was greatly appreciated, because as a nervous bride with so many decisions to make and lots of opinionated friends/family giving me their 2 cents, it sometimes made me fell insecure about my choices. CaraSue was able to let me know what she thought without undermining my opinions.

CaraSue was great! She works quickly and efficiently, but doesn't compromise quality. She truly listened to me and made sure to clarify so that she could do everything I wanted. She was professional and prompt in all of my communications with her. She was a relaxing presence on my wedding day and made all of our hair fabulous. Cara Sue did a fantastic job on our hair and makeup for the wedding. She was able to come to our hotel suite to style the hair and makeup for our wedding party. The results were timeless and beautiful and everyond commented on how great our hair and makeup looked.

Cara Sue did hair and makeup for my 1/1/11 wedding and was fabulous! She came to our hotel room in Lawrence and brought all her equipment, set up fast, and was ready to go. Her pricing is EXTREMELY reasonable, especially since she will come to you. We all looked elegant and gorgeous without seeming overly made-up.

She did hairstyles on 3 girls (with long hair!) and 4 sets of makeup all in 2.5 hours. She doesn't need 90 minutes per person to make you look beautiful, and she knows that there are many other things a bride and her attendants need to be doing on the wedding day other than sitting in the makeup chair!

I felt completely glamorous and the hair and makeup lasted all day. She gave us all extra lip color for touch-ups throughout the day, but other than that I didn't even have to think about how my hair and makeup looked--they stayed in place and looked fabulous!

Cara Sue made me feel totally at ease and I felt very mellow the entire morning as we were getting ready. She responded quickly to all of of my emails and was incredibly friendly, cheerful, and professional to deal with throughout the entire planning process. She is one of the first vendors I booked and is definitely someone I would recommend to any other KC area bride looking for a hair and makeup artist.

Do you know what's odd after our wedding? The hair stylist that I used disappeared (literally). Her salons were closed and my husband and I weren't able to find her in anyway we had tried. I was looking for her because we really liked my hair style on our wedding day and wanted her to style my hair again for our upcoming wedding portrait session that we had been planning for months. The session was very important to us and we really wanted my hair style to be just as good as on our wedding day. Not knowing how to find her, we ended up having to search online for another hair stylist.

We found CaraSue! And we were not disappointed. CaraSue was able to style an updo for me that was consistent with my wedding day hair style but with a uniquet twist. The hairstyle that she created for me was not only equally beautiful as what I had on my wedding day, I would have to say that it looked even more stylish and well-groomed from the front. My husband and I were really happy with CaraSue's work! Now when I look back, I am just so thankful and happy that I couldn't find my previous hairstylist and didn't go with other people that I found online. What seemed to be a hassle in the beginning has now turned into the best thing.

I met with CaraSue three times for hair cut, hair trial and the actual day, and each meeting was very pleasant. CaraSue wanted me to be happy with her service. She also responded very quickly to any questions that I had. The fee that she charged for hair trial was very affordable so that brides-to-be could work with her to come up with a hairstyle that they would like to have for their wedding day. I also have to comment that our portrait session was long and mostly outdoor. It was quite windy on that day, but my hair stayed shinny and in place throughout the entire session.

CaraSue did our makeup for my daughters wedding. She made the bride gorgeous yet natural, and helped the 76 year old grandma, moms, matrons and even the flower girls look their very best. We all have our skin issues - who doesnt, but we loved our looks. She was more than prompt (beat us to the venue), got us in and out in record time, was calm, patient, and let us add an additional person at the last minute. This was our second daughter to get married in KC and I wish we had done this earlier. Can't wait to see our photos.

I could not have asked for a better makeup artist on my wedding day. I've only had my makeup done once before, so I was a bit nervous allowing someone to do my makeup on my wedding day. CaraSue was fantastic and she made me look just as I'd imagined...actually, better than I'd imagined! She was super professional, but still fun and very kind. CaraSue did a phenomenal job on the day of my wedding. My make-up looked great, but I still felt like I looked like "me". She also did the make-up of my wedding party and my mom, and they were all thrilled with her work. I have to say that I have never had make-up stay on in July heat, but this did! We took pictures for an hour and a half in 100 degree weather outside. We were sure that we were going to get back to the church before the wedding and have to reapply, but we looked no different than we did right after she put it on. All we had to do was put a little more lipgloss on, which she gave us. She's so friendly and puts you at ease. She listens to your suggestions, but doesn't do anything that she knows is going to look bad in your pictures. She's wonderful!!!

Carasue was great! I booked her at the last minute to do my make up for my wedding party. I don't typically wear make up and she listened when she did my practice. She is very friendly and did all my bridesmaids beautifully and the makeup lasted all night.

CaraSue is absolutely amazing at what she does. At the trial for hair and makeup she made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it and that I was comfortable and happy with how I looked. On the wedding day she (along with her assistant) did my hair and makeup, along with my mom and 6 bridesmaid's hair. CaraSue and her assistant were absolutely fabulous on my wedding day! They did hair for 5 people and makeup for 2 and everybody had a style that fit their personality and style perfectly. Our numbers kept changing even the day of the wedding, but CaraSue was completely flexible and fit everybody in wihout any problems. My makeup stayed on all day long and wih the oil blotter sheets and extra lip gloss CaraSue gave me, my makeup looked great all day (literally for 15 hours!). I hired CaraSue for my wedding this past weekend. I was nervous about hiring someone to do my hair and makeup due to the fear of ending up with "prom hair". After talking with CaraSue, I already felt as though she was the right choice. She was so easy to work with, responded quickly to all emails, was super flexible when it came to setting up my trial and was nothing but wonderful the day of the wedding. I am so impressed with her and the business she has! She kept us on our timeline the whole morning, she was friendly and all my girls said they loved talking with her. Most importantly she kept me calm...I was pretty calm all morning...then it set in and kinda hit me. I was getting more nervous and she totally read me like a book, and she (above my bridesmaids and mom!) kept me calm. I'm totally thankful for that because I stayed calm the rest of the day and I think it was because she helped me out that morning. I felt SO beautiful on my wedding day thanks to CaraSue! I had a very tricky veil and she didn't blink an eye to get that in my hair. I had sooooooooooooo many compliments on my hair and make up! She also did half of my bridesmaids hair/make up and by the reception you could TOTALLY tell which girl had been done prefessionally and not. The other girls hair was messing up and they had to keep re-applying make up. It was so nice that we didnt have to keep hasseling with ourselves and could just dance and enjoy the evening. The other girls told me later they wished they would had booked CaraSue because they were jealous of how glam we looked and how long it lasted!

Oh, I have to mention this!! I had forgot my make up bag at my wedding venue, so I had no makeup with me for the next day. So I left my makeup on throughout the night. The next morning when we were checking out at the hotel the front desk lady asked me what make up I used! I still looked all dolled up! She love my colors and how it was all put together. I told her that it had been on over 24 hours and she was shocked! I'm sure she will be in contact with CaraSue! :)

Every bride feels tension on their special day. It's going to happen because you are so worried that everyone and everthing that you have planned for this special day happens. When I arrived at the location my wedding was held CaraSue was already there in the dressing room with her chair setup and the makeup out ready to apply. When I sat down in that chair my stress started to leave me. I closed my eyes so that CaraSue could do her magic and make me beautiful. It was like a nice relaxing breather in between the craziness of the day.

CaraSue did my makeup for my senior pictures and recently a wedding of my friends cause I was so pleased with my senior pictures! I loved my senior pictures makeup. They were more than I could ever expected and I actually had another makeup artist booked through my photographer and she cancelled the day of and CaraSue toke me in within a few hours notice and with end result�couldn�t be more pleased that my first makeup artist cancelled. She is really professional, reliable, and superb at what she does!!!! I cannot say enough great things about CaraSue and her services! I absolutely could not have been more pleased with the way my hair and makeup turned out, as well as my bridesmaids and mother, who also had their hair and makeup done. First of all, I would just like to confirm for anyone who is on the fence about whether or not to have someone onsite to do makeup/hair for their event- do it!! Our wedding was in a rather remote area of town (not at all close to any salons) and it was so nice not to have to either book with an unfamiliar salon or spend all morning getting 'pretty' somewhere across town and hope it still looked good for a 6pm wedding. CaraSue was at the venue, set up and ready to go when we arrived. We knew we would have a time crunch since we were only allowed to arrive at the venue 4 hours before the ceremony start time and with 5 ladies to do hair and makeup, including the bride. CaraSue got it all done with time to spare, and everyone looked amazing. Oh, and everyone still looked fantastic at the end of the night, despite an outdoor ceremony at the end of July, 90 plus temps, and my naturally curly/frizzy hair. :) Her attitude is fantastic, she is super fun to work with, and a consummate professional. CaraSue did a fabulous job making myself and 3 bridesmaidss look beautiful! We ran into some challenges that day, due to traffic and another bride she ended up running late, but it was no sweat for her! She walked in, sat me down, and got to work. She was done with my makeup in maybe 15 minutes, so I could go start pictures, and then did the other bridesmaids while my husband and I were taking pictures. I think everyone?s make up turned out gorgeous. I didn?t even have to tell her what to do with mine, she just went at it and I loved it. She also did my hair and make up for our E-pics, which I think looked great as well. I always felt like CaraSue was on top of things, she knows what she?s doing and she keeps everything super-clean and sanitary. She?s also such a nice person, it?s easy to just chit chat away while she?s doing make up. I would recommend her to anyone ? she?ll come to you and her prices are reasonable! The only downside was that I forgot to tell everyone she only takes cash or check, so they were scrambling to pay her apparently ? my fault though. As far as the makeup goes, she is a super star!

CareSue did a wonderful job on me, my six bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid and the flower girl � and in a short amount of time too! Everyone�s hair and make-up stayed all day. Most stayed until the next morning :) And the little girls looked completely age-appropriate � we didn�t want them looking too made-up. My hair didn�t turn out like my picture � but it was better than I expected. CareSue fit right in with all the girls and made my wedding morning relaxing and fun!
