I cannot say enough about Mike Carcano and his team! I met with him and immediately knew he was the DJ for us, because he is so friendly and truly loves music. We wanted a DJ instead of a band because we really wanted to select most of the specific songs for our reception, but we were worried about hiring someone who wouldn't cater to our (extensive) playlist. But Mike was perfect: he is upbeat & fun but totally classy, he read the crowd to adjust the music when needed, and he played all the songs we wanted to hear. He even made us a CD our songs from the wedding! We are so grateful & happy that he and his team were a part of our big day, so definitely meet with him if you are looking for a great DJ for your wedding.

We used Carcano DJ for our recent wedding at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club and they were excellent. They were professional, they quickly responded to emails/phone calls, and were very flexible. We had a great first meeting with Mike. He spent a lot of time getting to know us during the first meeting and was therefore able to suggest Don as our DJ. Don was an excellent choice! He was professional and did a great job of keeping people on the dance floor. We were hoping for a DJ who could keep the party atmosphere alive without dominating the evening with too much microphone time. Don did a great job! We would recommend Carcano DJ and their team to everyone.

With about 2 months left to go before our wedding, we were still scrambling to find a DJ (originally I was just going to have my iTunes plugged in and have someone manage that but am I glad my wife talked me out of it!) and luckily stumbled across Mike Carcano and his team through the "Preferred Vendor" list of our venue.

We met Mike and my first impression was that he came off a bit "Sales-ish" (after all, this is a Sales business) but after spending more time with him, I realize he is genuine and just wants the best for you on your special day. A lot of the recommendations he had for us, I was hesitant on at first, but I'm so glad that I followed his instincts as these little touches really made the night that much more beautiful.

In terms of pricing, we were able to negotiate a price I thought was beyond fair (I think in part is because he owns so much of the equipment already, but I also believe it was because he really wanted us to have the best and was willing to work with our budget to make it happen).

On the actual day of, Jason was our DJ and Stefani was running things behind the scenes. Needless to say, everything came off perfectly and we received so many compliments from our guests regarding the ambiance.

Overall, I could not recommend Mike and his team enough!!! They were professional but at the same time made you feel so warm and welcomed, it was as if you were all close friends or family. They offered an amazing price for the quality and amount of service they provided. And finally, they are a local family business that sincerely cares about their customers. My only regret is that this is a once in a lifetime event (hopefully!) but I will definitely be looking to use them for any future party I have and I will never stop recommending them to friends and family!

I can't say enough great things about how flawless everything turned out, and how professionally the service was delivered. They worked within our tight budget to give us what we wanted and more. I found Mike after I had aleady secured my DJ or I probably would have tried his DJ services as well (even though I absolutely loved th DJ I selected). I used Mike's chiavarri chairs and lighting services. The chairs looked brand new! The lighting was awesome and really enhanced the room. I loved the lighted monogram on the dance floor!

Mike is an awesome DJ. We had a Persian/Mexican wedding and he did an amazing job keeping everyone on the dance floor. Everyone danced the whole night and said they loved the music and what a great DJ I had. He really works with you to make sure that the music you choose is just want you want whether its for the ceremony, dinner or dance reception. He works with an unbelievably helpful staff. They are great at getting back to you really quickly and making sure you feel completely comfortable with the music chosen for the day. I have no hesitation recommending Mike as a DJ, lighting company, and don't forget the beautiful chiavari chairs! You won't be disappointed!

The first thing I want to say is that Mike and Stefani are AWESOME! We hired them to do our lighting, music, slideshow and rented chivari chairs from them. I have had nothing but compliments from everyone that came to the wedding and the dance floor was never empty. I appreciated the personal attention that they gave us throughtout the whole wedding planning process. Stefani was so patient with us while we tried to figure out what songs to put in our slideshow and was very understanding when I decided to change one of the songs the day before the wedding. My family loved the slideshow presentation so much that some of my aunts even asked if they could get a copy of it.

We gave Mike our vision of the wedding we wanted it and not only did he acheive that but it was 10 times better then we imagined. Out of everything we did for the wedding I think hiring Mike and Stefani was the best decision we made. They gave our wedding that WOW factor and we couldn't be happier. Anyone debating on who to hire for lighting and music has to meet Mike and I guarantee you that after that first meeting you will want him for your wedding!

The first time my mom and I met with him we knew he was going to be amazing! You can tell just by the way he loves music that he's a great DJ! He's passionate about what he does and knows how to get people on the dance floor!! He's great! After signing our contract my (now) husband and I met with him about a month before our wedding! We went over everything! The order of events, songs we want played at certain times, and his vision of the night! We couldn't have been happier when we left! Everything was perfect the day of! All the songs we wanted were played, people never left the dance floor, the uplighting was PERFECT and made the room gorgeous, the chairs were perfect and exactly what I asked for! We even had two prjector screens for the slideshow we put together and it worked out perfectly! They set it up while everyone was eating and no one even noticed! Then they took it down while we were giving the toasts and, again, no one noticed! After the night was over I thanked him and he even gave me the cd's of our music he used that night! It was so cool! He was great and everyone said the DJ was awesome! They will make or break your wedding so go with Carcano DJ! He's the best!

Mike and Stefani did exceptional on our wedding day! Talking to Mike the first time gives me no doubts that he knows what he's talking about. Althroughout my wedding planning, I did not have to worry about the DJ, the sequence and over-all presentation and Mike did not let us down. Stefani is awesome as well! Our montage presentation was very organized and we could not ask for anything more! Great, wonderful services!

Mike and Stefani are the best EVER. We absolutely loved them. We got so many compliments on how perfect the event was and everyone danced until the very end. They are very reasonably priced. We also got chivari chairs from them. Could not have asked for a more perfect DJ!

After we met with Carcano DJ we knew that we did not need to meet with another DJ. Their staff were friendly, responsive, and most important to us, they were honest. We met with the owner who spent time getting to know us as a couple and then assigned us a DJ that he felt best matched us. Let me tell you that it is no wonder that they have been in the DJ business for so long because he matched us with the PERFECT DJ for us. Our DJ (Jerry) was FABULOUS, he personalized everything for us and we could not have been happier.

I love Carcano Dj & Lighiting.....they did an amazing job with my music, lighting and gobo. i told them what i love and they made it came true but WAY BETTER. They make sure that my families and friends enjoy the music and a great time with game, dancing, money dance, and more dance because i want to see them "move it move it cause i love to move it move it." so make sure you hire Carcano DJ & Lighting because they know how to party!

We hired Mike and Stefani to do the lighting, chairs and be our DJ at our wedding April 30th in Beverly Hills and it was one of the best decisions we made. Communication with Mike/Stefani is fast and easy, they are a pleasure to work with through the entire process. The chairs and lighting were exactly what we wanted - all amber lighting to evoke a romantic, almost candlelit filled room - it completely transformed the ballroom and all of my guests were blown away with how elegant the wedding looked. Mike is a great DJ and MC and worked perfectly with our band - he knew how to read the crowd and kept us all dancing. They are incredibly professional and accommodating to any of your requests and most of all really nice people to work with - don't think twice about working with them, they are brilliant!

Mike Carcano was our DJ for our wedding in April. He did an amazing job. He is very personable, energenic, and he really knows how to feel the crowd. He personally went over every last detail with us prior to the wedding and every song that we wished for was played. He pays close attention to you and your style and he's able to capture it all. He was able to get the crowd going (and it stayed going ALL night long!) My cousin the other day was just talking about our wedding and said, "man every song was great. One after the other just made me get up and dance!" A DJ can make or break your wedding and Mike definetly made ours! We would recommend him to anyone!

I cannot recommend Mike Carcano enough! After a strong referral I checked out his website and was so pleased with his work AND his prices! He was very professional and replied to all of my emails and questions promptly and with kindness. I gave him a lot of freedom and responsibility and he blew away my expectations... 5 stars all the way!

Mike and Stefanie did an awesome job at our wedding! We booked Mike as our DJ as well as the lighting and chairs from them as well. They made the day extra special and definitely set the tone that I wanted for our reception which was energy filled with the exact setting that I envisioned which was with a back splash of light blue lighting and beautiful elegant silver chiavari chairs.

Me and my husband were very impressed with Mike's energy and extensive knowledge of each genre of songs. He knew exactly the type of songs that we enjoyed and played all of them during our wedding. Working with Mike Carcano was great. We hired his team to be our DJ and Handling our lighting. His staff was always quick to respond, very friendly and professional. Our lights were fantastic and they were cheaper than the hotel service. We got up lighting and pin spots and were happy with both. Jerry was a great MC! We were very happy with Mike! He's the best! I would definitely recommend Carcano DJ.

Carcano DJ was excellent in terms of the music they provide, and the energy they bring to the dance floor. I also thought the value of everything was quite worth it. The only complaint that I have is that during the garter toss, Carcano DJ actually called me out by the wrong name TWICE. No one noticed, but I was a bit confused when he asked me to move my chair. Other than that, everything was great!

I have to admit all my vendors were great and Mike Carcano and Stefani are no exception!

They helped my reception run smoothly and the dance floor was packed all night! His Mcing was amazing too! He made everyones intros perfect!

AND I loved that he gave us a CD at the end of the night of a few of the songs that he played and all the songs for the intros and first dance, mother and groom dance and mother and daughter dance. So nice!

The lighting we also did with them looked amazing and made the room beautiful all night!

I recently got married on Labor Day Sunday and did business with DJ Mike Carcano. After the wedding, I decided to only do a few reviews and choose wisely the best and worst to provide feedback on.

I will say that doing business with Mike Carcano & Stephanie was an absolute pleasure. They are VERY fair, good about getting back to you, and friendly. Their presentation on services was excellent and I can only positive things about my experience of doing business with them. I had some personal issues (unrelated to them) with wedding planning (as should have been expected) and Mike and Stephanie were very easy to work with and did not take our stress personally. I was very concerned with dealing with a complete stranger since I was paying everything up front, but they are extremely trust worthy and are so successful in the wedding planning business for that very reason.

I will also comment that we required on-site staff for our wedding from his company and they were professional and easy for my coordinator to work with. There was an additional charge for this, which was expected given liability and risk of equipment.

I would highly recommend his services for DJ, lighting, chairs, or whatever services he offers.

What can I say? Mike and Stefanie are the best! I always knew I wanted them to do my lighting. One of my co-workers used them for her wedding, which is how I first heard about them. Once I visited their website, I knew I had to have them. My husband and I went to their showroom to meet with them and we hired them on the spot. I never even interviewed or considered any other DJ. They were great with responding to any questions or concerns I had. Mike has a great personality and was funny. By the time my wedding rolled around I had never given them a song list as requested, but Mike had no problem keeping the folks at the wedding dancing.

Their lighting completely transformed our reception room. My husband and I were completely blown away. I had gone to the banquet room in the weeks before the wedding, just to see how other couples had set up the room. Other couples had lighting in the room but the room never really looked much different. I started wondering if getting lighting was a waste of money. The night of the wedding, Mike and Stefani showed me how wise of an investment I had made. Guests kept remarking how our wedding should have been featured on one of those wedding shows. They also did our gobo light and it was cool that I got to help design ours.

Mike and Stefani also rent chiavari chairs and it happened to be at one of the best prices I was able to find. Had I not found them, I would not have been able to afford chiavari chairs. They definitely added a nice touch to the room.

I would recommend Stefani and Mike to anyone. They make a great team and were very professional.

This vendor was the one we spent the most money on. They provided our lighting and DJ services.

The Carcano DJ staff was very easy to work with and was able to work with our budget to give us exactly what we wanted. We went with their DJ and lighting services and are happy with how our wedding turned out. They do an impeccable job with lighting and have many color options to choose from.
My only suggestion is to have your final meeting with the actual DJ, and not another staff member, so he knows exactly what you want done at the event. There was a moment during our reception when it seemed as if things could have gone more smoothly had we relayed our expectations directly to the DJ ourselves.

Mike was the MC/DJ for our wedding last year. He did a wonderful job, very outgoing, played the music that we wanted. He and Stefani did a great job setting up the lights and our gobo. He had a few issues with the names of our wedding party and forgot to announce that we had wedding take-home bags, but other than that he was great.

We had met Mike at a bridal expo and were impressed with his outgoing and humorous personality (a big MUST in our book for a wedding DJ!). We visited him in person and he was extremely friendly and professional (and the office was also very neat and organized!). He offered everything we wanted so we booked him on the spot.

At the wedding, the lighting package and custom gobo looked PHENOMENAL and he and Stefani did a great job changing up the colors of the lighting and transitioning between songs. If Mike had only said the right names during the introductions (he said the Best Man's name in lieu of the Groom's name!!), everything would've been perfect!

We had Carcano provide our lighting and DJ services for our wedding at Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, CA. We didn't have Mike DJ the wedding, instead had one of their other DJs, Jerry, do both our ceremony and reception music. At first we were a little hesitant to have someone other than Mike there, but we have to say that Jerry was excellent! He worked with us deligently prior to the wedding date to find out all our music expectations through all the different stages of the day. For the ceremony, Jerry was so professional and right on cue. For the reception, Jerry was the master! He was a delight in leading the activities of the night, creative in coming up with ideas for centerpiece giveaway, energetic to keep spirits high. We got so many compliments on DJ Jerry throughout the night, and the dance floor was always packed with lots of smiles because of him.
The sound system Carcano provided was excellent for the ceremony, especially as they had to quickly come up with alternatives with the outside looming rain. Inside the reception area, the sound system was clear and at the right volume, however my only suggestion is there should have been some more speakers in the back of the room, some guests had a hard time hearing in that area since the room was rectangular and low ceilings. The uplighting provided was a little expensive, but made the room beautiful.

Mike Carcano was an excellent DJ and he provided the perfect musical backdrop for our reception. My husband is a DJ and because of that, our choice of DJ was very important to him. Mike and his team carefully listened to the style of music we wanted and allowed us to provide a detailed listing of preferred songs for dinner and dancing. Mike was very skilled at watching the crowd and switching up the musical choice when the dance floor thinned out, and the result was a reception with a packed dance floor up through the final song. We would definitely recommend Carcano DJ to anyone. Mike was classy, professional, and really kept the party going.

Carcano DJ did a great job at my wedding. The DJ read the crowd well, played the music we requested and didn't play the music we didn't want! Carcano is easy to work with and friendly. Everyone was dancing until the end of the night!
