Reviews for Cards and Pockets
LOVE, LOVe, LOVE this company. The ladies at cards & pockets are exceptional! After placing my original order, they went out of their way to give me a personal phone call and advise me that the color cardstock I ordered, was no longer in stock. Rather than shipping the "next best thing", as most companies probably would have, they gave me the choice to reorder. They also made me aware of the color options they had that might best suit the colors of my wedding and what quality paper would work out best for my DIY wedding invitation project. As they say, the first impression is a lasting one. I highly recomend C&P.
Cards and Pockets has been nothing but a LIFE SAVER for our "pockets"!! Not only are they affordable, but they produce TOP quality in every aspect. Their communication is outstanding and the turn around for shipping is impeccable. I have used them for both my Save the Dates and Invitations. I don't know what I'd do without them.
We got almost everything for our invitations from here. Cards & Pockets printed the invitation cards and inserts from designs we developed. We also got our pocketfolds and mats from them. They were extremely conscientious. There were some small Hebrew letters in the border designs that were not totally legible when printed on the cardstock we chose. They contacted us to let us know this, and sent us free samples by Express Mail on two different kinds of cardstock so we could see if we wanted to switch to a type that made those letters more legible. And the invitations when they arrived were truly gorgeous! We ended up going back to them to get matching thank-you note cards.
I ordered all the materials for my invites from here: pocketfolds, inserts, and backings. Their prices are super affordable, especially the pocktfolds. You can order swatches and sample suites from them so that you can view colors. Overall, I had an excellent experience w/them. When I initially received my package, I took a quick glance at my pocketfolds and assumed it was right. Well, 4 months passed, and I was ready to bring them out to do my invites, when I reazlied they were the wrong color brown! I reviewed their exchange/return policy, and it was passed the allotted time. So, of course, I had a bridezilla moment. I emailed the vendor and explained the situation, and they were super accomodating and let me exchange the pocketfolds w/no penalty. Great customer service experience.
I originally planned to order all of my supplies from Cards & Pockets and then print and assemble my DIY layered invitations. Then Cards & Pockets began providing printing services. I sent them my custom files and they printed and cut all of my inserts for the invitations. They are absolutely beautiful. I even added on thank you cards after I saw how amazing the invitations turned out. The entire team at Cards & Pockets was a dream to work with. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to DIY or semi-DIY paper products.
Oh, how I adore everything from Cards and Pockets! When we finally decided to go with their dark brown pocketfolders for our invitations, I placed an order for 200 of them. As it turned out, I was only sent 170 of them, rather than the 200 I ordered. With just a quick e-mail explanation of what happened, Cards and Pockets immediately sent me 30 more pocketfolders with no questions asked. Now that's customer service!
My brother asked me to DIY his wedding invitations, so I ordered some pocketfolds from Cards and Pockets, and they came pretty fast and looked great. The problem is I ordered everything super early, and stupid me didn't bother to look through the entire order to make sure they sent me the right stuff. I think I ordered maybe 70 pocketfolds of that metallic paper. Well, it turns out that the last box was the regular, non-metallic paper. But by the time I discovered this, I was ready to send out the invitations. Unfortunately, I had run into printing problems when I was working on the invitations, so it ate up a lot of my time. I didn't have time to send them the box back, and then wait for them to send me the correct box. However, I did email them to explain the situation, and they were kind enough to refund me the difference, since the mistake was theirs & not mine. As a result, I would definitely use them again for any future DIY projects.
I was really impressed with the quality of the paper at CardsandPockets. I looked around and to get the type of invites I wanted it would have cost me about $400.00 more then to get it from C&P and do it myself. Shipping was really fast, but expensive.
Cards and Pockets is great for the DIYers
We ordered all our pocketfolds and envelopes. I received everything very fast and in perfect condition.
I created my own invitations and was worried that it was going to cost just as much as if I were to have them done by a professional because of the cost of paper and printing. This website has the basics of the invitation, all you need to do is print! They come in such a big variety of colors and shapes and sizes. It was perfect for all my needs, and in was half the price of local craft stores.
Super fast delivery. Good pricing. And the pocket folds fit in regular A7 envelopes! What's not to love?
I am very happy I found Cards and Pockets!!! Their prices are great and the quality is excellent. I LOVE THEM!
Amazing service and incredibly fast delivery. They had the best selection of colors in the pocketfold we were using (the Vertico style) with the best price. Highly recommended!
I was very happy with the service, quality and timely shipping. A great resource for the do it yourself brides.
Cards and pockets by far is the best bang for your buck when it comes to pocketfolds...with four different styles of pocketfolds and dozens of colors, the world is your oyster. I ordered one set and received my package within two days. I found that I needed more and ordered a second set, and received it the next day.
Cards and Pockets were great to work with. Their products are high quality and their website is very informative. If you are plan on going the DIY route with the invitations, CardsandPockets is your best bet. I received my pocketfolds in no time.
I ordered DIY invitations from cards and pockets. They were very fast with shipping and everything came exactly as I ordered them. I got so many complements on the invitations. People thought i must have spent a lot more money on them then I actually did. The only thing I recommend is if you order the paper with a shimmer, make sure it prints in your printer without smearing, otherwise order extra paper, it took a little while for the ink to dry and several of the invitations got messed up from the ink.
I was on a tight budget and wanted to make my own invitations...I stumbled across cardsandpockets.com while searching on google for wedding stationary that didn't cost a million dollars...I loved the variety of colors and the different pocket options. I knew I wanted the pocket invitation because it holds everything together perfectly! I ordered all of my pockets, paper and envelopes from cards and pockets and did my own printing. The color was a clover green and turned out so beautiful!
I would definitely recommend cards and pockets for those DIY brides on a budget!
I ordered my 6x6 pocketfolders from this company. I paid for a sample first, so I knew exactly what I was getting. The reason I'm giving them just 4 stars is because when I ordered 100 pockets, I only got 1- the person sorting out the orders thought I had ordered a sample, even though I was charged $126! But overall, their prices are the best and the service was good- the corrected my order as soon as I emailed them.
The invitations were much higher quality than I expect. They came out exactly how we wanted them.
The pocketfolds from Cards and Pockets are of great quality for the price. They are quick with shipping out the pocketfolds, I got mine in a few days after placing the order.
This is the BEST DIY invitations store. I just received our save the dates for our wedding, and they're are PERFECT! Cards and Pockets are personable, reliable and you can't be the quality. Being a Graphic Designer, I've dealt with many printers and no one comes close to Cards and Pockets! They are very promptly responsive for your quotes and questions and give you play by play updates on the status of your order. I LOVE THEM and can't wait to order my wedding invitations! Thanks so much C&P!!!!!!
We used Cards and Pockets to finish off the look of our custom-made invitations. After a friend designed what we wanted, we spray-glued the print onto Grass Metallic pockets from them, and used Grasshopper Pie colored envelopes to complete the look! We got so many compliments on how unique and fun our invitations were! The pockets really helped us complete the exact look we wanted!
We received everything from Cards and Pockets in rocket-fast time, and really couldn't recommend them enough.
I don't know where to begin with CARDS AND POCKETS
They are amazing they took alot of stress off my shoulders; when I could not find the right color to match for what I wanted I turned to them and they made the color for me. When I was freaking out because I wasn't a 100% about the color Bonnie in special projects was my saving grace. She brought me back down and told me she would help me so I could be happy with what I was sending out. I sent her pictures of my color scheme and they came up with so many items it was hard to choose. I used the patterned paper in multiple different areas of my wedding because it was so BEAUTIFUL!!! It would not have been this perfect if it wasn't for CARDS AND POCKETS!
I really am trying to find something else to incorporate the colored patterned paper into I LOVE IT so much
You would be a fool not to use them for your project
THanks
The pocketfolds I ordered arrived quickly and are a decent paper weight (I have a metallic blue color that has been discontinued). I got a smokin' deal because they were on clearance, but I would totally use this vendor again.
We dedicated one Saturday to design our own invitations, which we had printed at Kinko's. I wanted them to go into some type of card/pocket holder, so we ordered from cards and pockets. They have great prices, and their quality is just as good!
I loved the look of having a "layered" invitation rather than a one-sheet thing. I happened across Cards and Pockets one day and loved their pockets that you can put your invitations and etc. in. I ordered a couple of samples in our wedding colors, and was very impressed by the wonderful quality and how rich the colors actually were. So we ordered from cards and pockets and had a little DIY party to assemble our complete invitations. Their customer service is wonderful and very friendly, and their prices are also very affordable for the quality!
I was very happy with the quality. I haven't seen other pocketfolds, so I have nothing to compare them to. We used photo quality paper for the invite and inserts. We also used a couple of ink cartariges while printing. These both and to the cost. The pocketfold was $1 and envelope was $.15. So worth it to not have to make them from scratch. The printing and assembly was time consuming enough as it was. In the end, our invites turned out great and we got lots of compliments
We designed and had printed from VistaPrint the parts for our invitations, and we ordered the pockets from Cards and Pockets. Loved the color and quality, and we were very happy with their service!
I ordered all the inner pieces for our invitations from VistaPrint, and I assembled everything into the pocket cardstock that I purchased from Cards and Pockets. I knew about this site from my sister's wedding as she used them too, and I was very pleased with the quality and beauty of what I ordered. I even received several free extra pieces because they had messed up on shipping it to me on time, but I didn't really complain seeing as how I had all of our invitations ready for almost five months before our wedding!
I fell in love with invitations that come in pockets, so when I became engaged, I first tried making my own pocket-fold for invitations. That so did not work out for me. One of my girlfriends recommended that I check out Cards and Pockets, and I am so glad that she did! We ordered what we needed in our colors, and the rest is history!
I wanted pocket invitations so I could put parking tokens and other things in there. Turns out they are more than I wanted to spend so I decided to make them myself. I ordered all my supplies thru this website. They did some custom cuts for me and they turned out great! Everyone asked where I had them done because the quality was so good. The paper was very thick and easy to print on (I used a laser printer so the ink wouldn’t smear on the metallic paper).
We bought all our invitations from the website. They are quick to respond with any questions that are emailed to them, and offer a good sample package that you can order for a small fee. They have a wonderful selection and I am very satisfied!
This is a great resource for anyone looking to make gorgeous pocket folder invitations without the price tag of companies like mygatsby.com. I ordered sample color swatches and their invitation "mock up kit" and really got a perfect idea of what the invites were going to look like. Not only did they send me the color swatches I requested, but they also sent similar colors for comparison without me asking - I was thrilled! It is time consuming to print and assemble the invites, but well worth the effort if you're a DIY-er. I'm still getting compliments on how beautiful the invites turned out. This is really a quality product, and the customer service is excellent.
This was my first big order with them, I previously ordered samples. Their customer service, prompt shipping and everything blows me away every single time!! After me experiance with my samples there was no question that my wedding supplies had to come from cards and pockets! They are all so wonderful and I plan on continuing my relationship with them when the time comes to printing my invitations !!!
Very fast delivery...satisfied with the service and it definitely looked professional
This site is the best if you are looking to purchase the pieces to put your own invitations together. The color selection is amazing and the delivery was incredibly fast. If you are crafty enough to put together your own invitations, this site is a must see. I also found that their prices were the best of all the different sites I had checked on the web. For the price that I paid, I got 125 pockets.
Colour of cardstock matched the website well. Customer service was excellent, they contacted me after I placed the order to confirm the selections and even offered me a change on a particular envelope which resulted in a small refund for me. The only negative was how long everything took to arrive (but that may have been Canada post).
I would HIGHLY recommend this vendor to anyone! I gave 5 stars only because there are no more stars to give! I decided to take up the task of DIY for my invites because I either 1.)couldn't find any eggplant colored pocketfolds or cardstock anywhere online or in local stores or 2.)The few invitation companies (wedding paper divas, sharia's paperie, etc. that I did find that had the perfect color were way too expensive (cost averaged $500 and up for invites alone. I couldn't see myself spending that much on plain old paper that most people will eventually throw away anyway; however, I didn't want to compromise on setting on a cheesy generic invite because I felt it really sets the mood for your wedding (although my fiance would beg to differ on this). I stumbled upon Cards&Pockets on theknots DIY boards and couldn't be happier. Their products are of excellent quality and are reasonably priced; ranging in a large variety of unique colors that are often hard to find elsewhere. They also can also be involved in as much or as little of the assembly of your invites as possible (everything from printing, mounting, assembly, etc). Most importantly they offer prompt and exceptional service. This was my first DIY project and I hit so many bumps along the way before coming across Cards&Pockets and ended up being extremely pressed for time at the very end...Bonnie was very empathetic and extremely in tune with my needs and annoying request. I really couldnt be happier, my invites turned out gorgeous and would use then again and again :-D
I am very pleased with how our invitations turned out. We ordered some sample swatches to help us choose our colors. We ended up ordering pockets and envelopes from Cards and Pockets, and were happy with the results. Their pre-cut card stock didn't work with my printer, so I printed on 8 1/2 x 11 card stock and cut it myself. But it was really nice not having to cut and assemble the pockets myself, so I was very pleased that I found this company. I'm happy to recommend it.
Exceptional Quality and many many products to choose from for your invitation and DIY projects
By far the best prices and quality I have seen! We got our pocketfolds here for our wedding invitations and DIY'd the rest, and you would not believe the compliments we got! The people at Cards and Pockets are unbelievably nice, and very thoughtful! When I purchased sample swatches, they threw in extra that were similar to my color choice.
I would be absolutely thrilled to find an excuse to use their products again! (Vow renewal, anyone?)
I use cards and pockets for all my paper needs, they are great to work with, very quick.
