I can't say enough nice things about Victoria and Avis. They were amazing, especially when we had to postpone the wedding due to a health isssue! They swooped in and took care of everything. A few short months later we were walking down the aisle like nothing had ever happened to disrupt the day. Carillon Weddings is a perfect venue and even more you get to work with such amazing talented people.

I went to Florida not knowing what to expect. Neither my fiance nor I are natives but we chose the Emerald Coast as the destination we wanted to get married in.
Like knowledgeable tour guides, Victoria and Avis never tired answering our (my) incessant and minute questions and when the time came to meet all our vendors, all my fiance and I did was literally plop ourselves into the car while Avis and Victoria took the helm.
Vendor after vendor, they were upbeat but also sensitive enough to sense I was getting a bit tired and cranky hence I got my lunch break!
They were informative, to the point, professional, kind, bubbly - I mean, now I want to be a wedding planner and work with them!
We finished our day of vendors and it was light contact between us and Carillon Weddings until the wedding time. I had some items for guest gift bags sent to FL prior to the wedding and of course they were smashed. Avis was there to let me know so I had ample time to order some more. Little things like that go a long way when you are a nervous wreck obsessing over details you really don't need to obsess about!
Wedding rehearsal, Victoria went into her most authoritative role I have seen. This lady was all business. After she was done, I have no doubt anyone was left with lingering thoughts or questions.
Wedding day (aka become a nervous wreck day), if I did not have Avis and Victoria by my side, I put money on the fact that I would have missed my cue, walked with heels in sand, and bawled like a baby.
They looked me straight in the eye and made me focus. "Erica, this is your cue". They were firm with the softest of voices.
Reception time - I am not sure why but this bride was beat! I wanted to go home and sleep at 9PM! Avis and Victoria valiantly started to work on a plan to get everyone out but luckily I got my second wind and it was party time until the venue closed.
Everything was as it should be and it was a party. Thank you Carillon Weddings!

LOVE. Once I saw the "Metting House" I just knew that was were I was going to have the ceremony. It was perfect. The "Village Green" was the perfect location for the outdoor reception. The views of the lake and the beautiful neighborhood made a wonderful backdrop for the wedding.

Avis and Victoria were AMAZING! Everything was exactly as we'd planned, and they were so easy to work with.

Carillon Weddings by Victoria is one of the most beautiful places on the Emerald Coast. We feel in love with the Village Green and the Meeting House. Carillon Weddings is amazing! I got married at Carillon Beach, Florida, in February 2012, and everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. My husband and I live in Texas, but we wanted to get married somewhere that would be warm and beautiful in February. I began searching online, and I found the website and blog for Carillon Weddings. I loved the weddings that I saw on their website, but when I went to visit Carillon Beach and first met Victoria and Avis, I fell even more in love. The entire wedding planning process was fun, simple, and full of a lot of laughter and great memories. I am a new attorney and my husband is in his second year of a surgical residency, so our time to devote to wedding planning was limited. However, Victoria and Avis make the process effortless. They use exceptional vendors who will put together a wedding that will exceed what you have envisioned. Victoria and Avis are great about working with your budget and getting you the best value for your money. They will not pressure or shame you into spending more money than you have budgeted. Our guests all stayed at Carillon Beach, and it was wonderful to be able to spend several days with our families and friends before the wedding. My mother, mother-in-law and I all enjoyed the days leading up to the wedding, as well as the wedding day, because we were able to relax and spend time with family and friends, rather than frantically trying to get last minute wedding details in order. Carillon Weddings takes care of all the details and lets you truly experience a stress-free, beautiful, and perfect wedding. Our guests all had a great time at Carillon Beach, and our friends asked my husband and I if we could remarry each other there every year! From rearranging our initial vendor appointments due to illness to providing a seamstress the day before the wedding to fix a groomsman's suit, it all was done graciously and with such professionalism! It was such a treat for me to simply enjoy being in the moment on my daughter's special day! I am forever grateful!

Not only is the venue in Carillon for your ceremony and reception AMAZING, but Victoria and Avis (the wedding coordinators) are the BEST. My husband and I had several ups and downs that come with wedding planning and this team handled them without me having to worry. Everything was exactly how I dreamed or better. These coordinators truly make a wedding worthwhile and so very enjoyable and memorable!

We are from the Chicago area, so my wife and daughter planned the wedding from afar, sight unseen. We trusted Victoria and Avis, along with their recommended vendors, to provide the dream wedding, and they did not disappoint. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. They handled everything before and during the ceremony, even down to the most minute details; i.e. making sure the bride and groom had a fresh drink for the all the toasts. They were phenominal!!

Carillon Beach community is the perfect venue. The vendors were all topnoch.The community has a beautiful INN, there are homes and condos to rent. Castaways restaurant did a fun,casual low country boil for our rehersal party.Hava Java has gourmet coffee and sandwiches. Everyone stayed on the property and you really don't need a car. The new airport is so close! Not to mention, these beaches are world class with the whitest sand and turquoise water.

As a mother of the bride, I was concerned about my own tendency to get very anxious about details, and, in short, to become very frazzled. I was fearful I would miss the true meaning of my daughter's special day-
running around doing last minute errands, or trying to arrange something I'd overlooked. BUT, Victoria and Avis, and all of their absolutely fabulous vendors, had every single detail covered. In their capable, calm and professional hands, everything was perfect. I enjoyed every second of the entire day and evening!Not a single worry, not a stressful moment- just a wonderful day and evening to remember and cherish!

I had the most amazing dream wedding. Victoria and Avis are the perfect mix between professional and and fun. We could see the passion they have for wedding planning the second we met them. We came down for vendor day about 8 months before the wedding, after that, we had to put all of our trust in them and their vendors. Everyone did an extraordinary job!! I do not know where to begin. My daughter had her wedding at Carillon last Sunday and it was her dream come true. I can't say enough about Victoria and Avis and how efficient they ran the whole process and the Wedding day! Their vendors are top notch. Paul Johnson Photography was awesome to work with--the food from Townsend Catering was incredible, the cake from Confections on the Coast was unbelievable, and the decor and flowers from Christina at Noveau were breathetaking. We also used Diva productions for a video and can't wait to see the trailer.
Carillon was very private and the walkovers onto the beach just cannot be beat. Also Kudos to The Bay Art's Trio for our beach music and DJ Paul who kept our reception rocking!!! Everyone who came said it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

When my fiance and I started trying to plan our wedding from TN....we didn't know where to start. It was very overwhelming. I got Victoria's name from a friend and met with her and Avis (her assistant) early in 2010 to dicuss details of our destination wedding. They were very helpful in answering all our questions and showed us around the property as well. IT IS BEAUTIFUL! We knew they were the only way to go after we left that day.
From that point on they were supportive through the whole process and made planning a wedding from TN sooooo much easier. Victoria also has exclusive vendors she works with and this made narrowing down the caterer, cake, photographer, etc....a breeze.
I can't tell you how much I appreciated them making our wedding so wonderful!

My daughter's wedding at Carillon Beach was amazingly beautiful. It was everything that Jeff and Amy had envisioned. The weather and beach were beautiful for the ceremony and the Village Green was perfect as the reception site. Victoria and Avis were wonderful to work with. They were very professional and definitely knew what they were doing. They were always responsive to any questions that we had along the way. The vendors they use are all professional and easy to work with. There was no stress the day of the wedding and everything ran smoothly. Some of the comments from our guests was "the perfect wedding", "amazingly beautiful" and the ultimate compliment from my husband was "worth every penny"! Thank you Avis and Victoria for giving Amy and Jeff their dream wedding!

Carillon Weddings is the BEST place to get married. Victoria and Avis have it down and know exactly what they are doing. On top of that they are fun to work with and really really sweet.

They only let the best vendors work with them, and everything they do is perfect. I met with all of the vendors once and sent follow up emails to show them exactly what I wanted. They listened to everything I said and I am still amazed how perfect my wedding was. The couple days before and the day of my wedding we so stress free it was amazing. Right when we got to Carillon for the wedding weekend we did a wrap up meeting with Victoria and Avis. They took away any concerns I had for the weekend. They took all of the little details that I had for the wedding and made sure they were all in place. During the reception they were available and on top of everything. It could not have gone any more smoothly than it did.

Since this was the first wedding I have ever planned, I had to rely heavily on the expertise of Victoria and Avis to ensure that every detail was addressed and that the vision my daughter had of her perfect day was brought to life. Everything was handled thoughtfully, timely and professionally. I felt as though the attention we received from beginning to end was very personal and that they were the glue that made everything run smoothly. The venue itself is exceptional, but it is the extra touches provided by CW that put the experience over the top. The vendors that are recommended for use were all exceptional (florist, caterer, wedding cake designer, photographer and musicians)! I would not change one single thing about the wedding....it was PERFECT. Best of all, I could relax and know that everything was handled with care.

Victoria and Avis provided me with the most beautiful and stress free weddings I could have ever dreamed of. From the first time I met these ladies, I felt comfortable planning my wedding from far away. The exclusive vendors they provide are top of the line and so was the venue. Beach was very clean and not crowded with tourist. Village Green had beautiful lighting! Coordination by Victoria and Avis were amazing, especially when the "big day" arrived. No fear or worries came about me, I felt very calm and collective as a bride. Everything ran so smoothly! My 12 year old cousin said to his dad during our beach ceremony- "I thought this only happened in movies, dad", that comment is priceless and so was our day. I'm having the wedding blues now, I miss that day soo much already, I just want to repeat it all over again :)

The wedding was perfect! It was everything I could have imagined. Decor, service, food, and entertainment.
I think one thing should be kept in mind however, and that is that some people have never been married and / or been around a wedding process. Even though the wedding coordinators do it every day, you can't assume your brides are assured as you are that it will all work out. More communication would have helped me feel more at ease over the last 10 months.

We could have not asked for more perfect wedding. The service we received was more than we could have asked for. Victoria and Avis made our day so special and enjoyable not only by us, but for all our guests as well. I don't have the words to describe how magnificent Victoria & Avis were from the moment we booked the venue until today, even after our wedding which was May 29th, 2010. The entire process was easy and fun, and our wedding was a flawless fairytale. Everyday someone else is coming up to us telling us that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to- and I will never get tired of hearing those words! And it is all thanks to Victoria and Avis. They reply to emails practically immediately, they are always positive, their vendors are the absolute best, and we could have never gotten through the wedding process with anyone else but the two of them....(I was quite the bridezilla.) They know everything there is to know about making the wedding of your dreams a reality, and they are patient, kind, flexible, encouraging, fun, and you can tell they love what they do. I am so thankful to both of them for everything!

Victoria and Avis were wonderful. I have absolutely no complaints on how anything went for our wedding. Carillon is an absolutely beautiful venue; however, Victoria, wedding planner, lacked professionalism and warmth. Overall, she gave me an uneasy feeling and I was honestly afraid of how things were going to turn out. Avis; however, was a joy! She was always quick to respond to my e-mails and even made the "wrap up" before the wedding very exciting! Once I met with her and knew she was going to handle everything--I was cool as a cucumber! As far as the day of the wedding, Avis was phenomenal! I can't say enough about Carillon's charm and beauty and fantastic vendors, but I wouldn't expect a very hands-on wedding planner with Victoria.

Victoria and Avis were great to work with and did all the coordinating of my vendors! They were very responsive to any emails/calls and were always available to meet with me when I was in the area. There tends to be a lot of "structure" involved and rules that came out along the way but overall, it was a great experience!

The wedding was beautiful and we are still getting compliments! There were a couple of issues, though.

1. Our meals were served while we were away from the table, greeting guests. It would be better to serve the bride and groom while they are seated, since our food was cold and we did not enjoy it.

2. I think Victoria and Avis should coordinate better with the photographer and be informed on the important photos the day of. Our photographer failed to get a lot of portraits that I specifically said I wanted and now I do not have a group photo of me with my parents, sister, her husband and Brad on our wedding day. The same for Brad's family and his siblings. This was extremely disappointing and in my opinion, Carillon Weddings is just as accountable as the photographer for ensuring that the bride and groom and parents who are paying for the venue and vendors get everything they expect.

You guys were great! Its hard for a bride to visualize what her big is going to look like when you are planning a destination wedding, but you guys made it easy!! Thank you again for all your hard work!

Our wedding was the most incredible experience! We still have people telling us what a great time that they had, 6 months later! The Ceremony and Reception venue were absolutely stunning! They were everything that I have dreamed of since I was a little girl!

The ladies of Carillon did a wonderful job. I probably would have changed the weather for the day....but they did a great job in the pouring rain. I fell in love with the Meeting House and could not have asked for a more beautiful setting. Avis seriously saved the day by fixing my hair and she was a riot. We ordered two dresses from Shelby and she was sweet as pie and easy to deal with. Victoria was.....a straight shooter for sure. After all is said and done, the ladies of Carillon were awesome, I had no worries as the time grew closer. It ended up raining all day and with most of the reception being held outside we had to move everything inside. They made sure that the transition went smoothly and flawlessly. I wish I could have had my choice in florists,but other than that.....a beautiful venue.

We love Carillon, Victoria and Avis. It was the perfect place for our beach wedding. We wanted to be married by the shore but wanted to be off beach for our reception and Carillon allowed us to do that. It was so easy on our wedding day with Victoria and Avis directing/coaching us through it all. The village garden next to the meeting house was a beautiful site and absolutely the right size for our wedding. We stayed in a house on property for the week before and really got to enjoy all that the neighborhood had to offer. in fact, we even stayed at the condo overlooking our reception for our wedding night.

The only thing I would change is to move the stop time that the association has set from 10 pm to 11 pm. But know, we were so tired by 10 it really didn't matter to us.

We cannot say enough about Victoria and her professionalism. she brought such wonderful vendors into our lives and truly made our day the one of our dreams!

As soon as I saw Carillon's website I was ready to book it sight unseen. It is truely the most beautiful place I have ever been.I was able to travel there one year before my wedding to do some planning. Even though that was very early, Victoria set up all of the vendors to meet me and I pretty much planned my wedding in one day. It was so easy. I arrived a week before, ran through the day with Victoria and that was it. Everything was perfect and professionally run. Everyone was jealous about how easy my wedding planning was.

The biggest stress of the day was the weather. Florida was having hurricane like weather in the middle of May and the morning of my wedding, the news called the weather - "rain of epic proportions". It rained for hours and hours and I was nervously waiting to see what would happen. I had friends reporting to me about the site set up and apparently there were workers squiggy-ing off the lawn - trying to get rid of the water. By 5:00 it was sunny and perfect. The ground was dry - it was like it had never rained.

I think destination weddings, brides need to have someone they can always contact and ask all of their million questions to. Victoria responded to every little email - some with 1 question, some with 10 and was able to provide suggestions for restaurants, salons, etc.

Carillon is an ideal venue with the best vendors that know how to create the most perfect stress free day. If I could do it again, I wouldn't change a thing.
