Carino's Italian Grill
We ended up with great food.
First off we went through two different catering points of contact. The first one wrote up our contract, and we paid a deposit. Carino's contracted with a rental company in town for linens, plates and silverware. Thankfully we caught that there were no glasses, so we had to write that in. The second person took over, and due to scheduling conflicts, we could never meet in person until the wedding day. She sent us the invoice, we paid a couple weeks from the wedding and everything seemed good. She came back to us and stated that she was concerned that they only contracted for 4.5 hours, and they would be in a rush to setup, serve and tear down. Also, she stated that their original quote was not right on the table cloths. I told them we paid, she should have reviewed the invoice from the first girl before sending it out, and we were not going to pay them any more money.
Because of the hourly limitation, we were left ourselves taking the linens back to Carino's, which our maid of honor did, but to the wrong place.
Although our guests never knew the headaches of the back and forth of rentals and costs, and we were at fault for not getting the linens back to Carino's (instead of Panera), we still worried until the very end that they would be able to provide the services for which they were contracted. They did eat the extra cost of rentals and did give us "Pasta Points" but it seems they weren't really organized. They really did try to right things with us, but it would have been nice to just have them take care of it like professionals the first time through.
Carino's provided us with excellent options for the food at our wedding. They had options that were very cheap and easy as well as more elegant items. They worked with us to get our total cost down as much as possible; however, at our wedding, they ran out of tea and lemonade before half our guests were served. We'd recommend using them but making absolutely sure there will be enough drinks for the whole party.
Carino's was great to work with as a caterer. They were reasonably priced and very accessible. The food was excellent, and three months later people still tell us how good the food was.
My husband and I LOVE to eat at Carino's for a casual date night, so we thought it would be great to host our rehearsal dinner there as well! It turned out great--from the food to drinks to the space we were in! We rented out a cozy room with a fireplace at the location in Littleton, off of C-470 and Kipling. It was a very cozy, romantic, and fun evening with family and our wedding party. They served us salad, bread, (3) of our favorite entree choices, and dessert in a buffet style. We ended up with a lot of extra food, so they packed it up and sent it home with us! We gave some to our guests and froze some for ourselves which came in handy and delicious after our honeymoon.
